The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

C'mon Glare. No one's going to vote for her if you don't say why you're nominating her. Part of the honor of being nominated is knowing why someone nominated you.
For everyone else a well: A little description of what the person did that makes them worthy of being mutant of the month is a good thing. It might even help your nominee win some votes. One idea is to include a link to a particularly well written post.

Tarin- Tarins posts rock the casbah, seriously. Like incredibly interesting. He always takes his time and makes something really worthwhile to read
Sebastian- does anyone else suspect Kat of being an old man in desguise because of her incredible ability to play one? Seb is one of those characters you just wanna get inside their brain. Plus, I lov ehis humor

You're right. I absolutely should have put a reason. I was kind of on the run last night, so I couldn't, but I will now.
Lee, because her posts are always spot on. She's on the forums quite a bit and does a lot of pre-planning with Tarin. The posts are always long, in depth, descriptive, interesting, and informative. Plus, I love how she has been using her powers in colaboration with Tarins.
Actually, I might as well go ahead and nominate Tarin too. They both are amazing, and I really enjoying reading their Rps... even though I'm not even in them.
I nominate Shrapnel (Abyss’ second character). Abyss is a dedicated player who is long overdue to have a character voted in for MotM. He is creative, dependable, fun, full of good ideas, and has done an incredible job as a moderator helping out by approving many new members and helping to get them started on the site.
Lately, his ideas and writing have been outstanding. His recent post with Shrapnel, A Tranquil Fury, is a captivating story and a creative way for a character to turn over a new leaf. It is also full of amazing imagery and is the main reason I chose Shrapnel as the character to nominate for this go around. It was a tough choice choosing between the monkey tailed man of awesomitude, the newly reborn angsty vampire, and the newly redeemed assassin-of-flying-self-destruction for this month’s nomination, but in the end: Shrapnel for the win!
If you havn't read A Tranquil Fury, do so. It is some of Abyss' best writing, in my humble opinion.

Can we still nominate? If so, Calley.
Without him at the beginning of me time here. (Which is still now. ^_^) I would have been lost. and probably have given up or been extremely discouraged to join. Also, from the time I've been here, he has been active, much. So I'm just nominating him because of that. :F
I'll put in a nomination for Emerald. To me, her last few posts in the Guard's Barracks have been outstanding, as well as her effort to portray not only her character, but mine as well.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.

I nominate Geo.
His writing style has improved so much since when he first began with us; his posts lately have been a real treat to read. I think he deserves some recognition for growing so much as a writer and RPer over just a few short months.

I'm going to go ahead and throw in a second for Calley. I know how freakin' tough it is to be getting towards the end of student teaching and she's still managing to get out some awesome posts when she has time. She's also super duper helpful to noobs and all that jazz.
I think she hard core deserves it. I mean...I know I'm pretty amazing and all... but srsly.
No fancy links from me...but Calley's posting in "It wasn't supposed to be like this" in the New York forum has been very top tier. I think it's a great read.
