The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Karmalina was heading toward where the guard had told her Dr. Hades' Lab was. She grabbed her Pass Card and entered the Barracks before heading on. As she reached the door , she knocked with three solid knocks.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK !
As she waited, Karma placed the Pass Card into her pocket again and sighed. Hopefully this man could make her some Gadgets. She really did need some.

An old yet alert looking man opened the door and invited her in, intelligent dark green eyes peering out over gold rimmed spectacles, from a face framed by a graying beard and hair. Dr. Hades was wearing blue overalls, his back was slightly bent and when he walked he lent on a stick. The stick was a special stick, four legs unfolded out of the tip when he put it down, meaning that the cane would never fall down. He regarded her for a minute, hmm physically fit, probably leads an active life he mused. His voice when he spoke his voice was deep and resonant. “Hello, I am Dr. Hades, now how may I help you?”

(OOC: is it ok me dropping in here? If not, I'll wait til you're done with Karmalina)
IC: Shogun had been told by one of Antonescu's employees to go visit Hades. Surely it wasn't the Hades they met in Germany? Regardless, to visit he had been ordered, so visit he shall. After procuring a guide to lead him to the workshop, he was soon there, and the technician swiftly left to return to her work. He doubted she liked him very much, and didn't care.
He stepped up to the door, and could sense two people inside. One was the girl he had almost sparred with, but the other was what caught his attention. It was indeed Hades from Germany, what was he doing here, in Antonescu's employ? Only one way to find out. Shogun rapped on the door sharply, and patiently waited for Hades to answer.

(occ, just pretend that she has left the room for some sort of reason, as she does not seem to have posted for a while)
Hades heard the rap on the door, he made a small gesture and a turned away, in that instant one lens of his glasses flashed a different tint, and one of the many hidden cameras identified the person knocking the door. *Surprise, surprise, it is that samurai again.*
Wanting to finish a organic culture experiment, where he was seeing how organic particles could be suspended by a magnetic field to make a portable holographic projector that he could use without a computer using his tinted particles to form 3D shapes.
Hades yelled “Please come in.” And returned to his work.

Shogun heared the yell, and opened the door. Hades was working away at something, Shogun had no clue what. "I was told to come see you. I must admit that I did not expect to find a man who only recently tried to kill me working under the same roof as myself." He didn't feel any particular bad feelings toward the man, as he had at least been polite when they met face-to-face, and the traps were clever. He had no qualms about working together, as long as Antonescu was a good enough judge of character to see past the man's unique form of greeting guests.

Well this is an unexpected surprise. No hard feelings I hope, but to be fair it was you who was trespassing and coming in without asking. Anyway , how may I help you?

"That certainly is true. I would probably have reacted in a similar manner." He had done, once, when a pair of thieves tried to break into his house. They ended up on the bak of his horse with no legs. The horse had ridden to the nearest hospital, shook them off, and ridden back. The men were probably still alive. "I ave a slight problem. Antonescu seems incredibly fond of holograms, which I am sure are very useful visual aids, but no about of visual aids are of any use to me. I was wondering if there was a way that would allow me to interpret these holograms?"

Hades nodded at Shogun, please follow me, as he led the samurai towards what tooled to be a wall, but at the wave of a hand opened, if one was very careful one may have noticed that Hades was leaving a slight trail of poisoned particles behind him, not enough to hurt anyone but enough to leave a trail around some of the more cluttered floors. Soon they came to a small room that was surrounded by what looked like a containment field. Hades walked over to a panel set in the wall and hit a few buttons. Immediately there was a hum, as machines powered up, then a sign flashed: Suspension field on.
He turned to Shogun and explained “Please tell me what you see above the rectangular box. I have been working on this for a while to try to make a portable holographic projector that would enable people to “draw” in 3D with needing a computer it works by suspending organic particles in the air by strong electromagnetic fields and they would do that by means of a pen that caused some of the particles to give off light, but I have set it to produce a hologram of New York city as it is seen real-time from satellites. Except I have not colored it in yet, but please tell me how much detail you can observe.”

Shogun followed Hades into the cunningly hidden room. Apparently, the man was rather fond of movie clichés. Shogun noticed something strange, though. As he moved, he seemed to leave some of himself behind. The could well be a mutant, and this might be related to his mutation. Shogun put it to the back of his mind, and took in the new surroundings. They were in a smallish room, with not a lot in it. Hades touched a few buttons on a wall, and something very strange happened.
Something floated upwards, something that was obviously living, but it wasn't one big life form. Rather, it was a collection of smaller life forms that floated freely. Then they seemed to organize themselves, and form shapes. He took it to be buildings, and Hades comments comfirmed it. "I can make out buildings, but having not seen much of New York I cannot remark on how close it is to the real thing. If you could produce something that I am familiar wih, I could better comment on the detail."
It was a marvelous piece of work. Shogun couldn't guess how Hades had managed it. "How do you make the life float and take shape like that?"

“Hmmm, well lets see… how about …” Hades typed rapidly on the keyboard brinigng up some of the videos of the Death clan below-master level people training, the computer took but a second to render it. “That!” for his own benefit, Hades sprinkled some of his luminescent particles on it to see what was happening. The detail was amazing, every chink in the amour, even a not bad rendition of sweat, the clothes billowed and flowed with the wearer’s movement.
“Well as one of my abilities is to “color in” air particles I wanted to create a 3D “canvas” if you will that I could use to do illustration and planning with out having to lug a computer around, and I have been practicing so I can draw very accurately.”
“How do I manage to make it float like that? Well it is still rather crued at the moment as it uses a lot of power, but basically anything if put in a strong enough magnetic field can be levitated, I have just packed millions of high power, extremely narrow field width electromagnets together, so that it is like every organic particle is like a pixel, how do you like it. If you like it I have an idea of something that could help you fight again almost anything inorganic, or atleast help you see them.”

Hades tapped away at his keyboard, and the organisms shifted. Now they showed a group of people training, and the detail was very impressive. Shpgun could pick it out almost as if they were actually there, except that he could see everything, not just the people themselves. Hades aimed some of his power at the 'image', and seemed able to perceive it. Then Hades explained about his 'colouring in' of air particles, and Shogun realised that he could make invisible pariticles visible. Interesting.
Hades then went on the explain about his device, and Shogun swiftly lost interest. It wasn't that important. What was important was the next bit. "You could use this technology to make inorganic things visible to me?" The implications of this could greatly enhance Shogun's capabilities. Especially in light of the Stalkers. "So you could use this whenever Antonescu creates holograms, and I would be able to see it?" This was perfect. It had so many possibilities.

“My dear friend, not only can I make this little machine of mine reproduce the exact images that hunter’s hologram’s show, that is easy, but since most people cannot perceive invisible organic particles, therefore hunter can tell you things that only you can see.” Hades was getting slightly excited, but he kept it under wraps.
“however why limit it to that, say I packed severeal billion of these organisms into a dispenser, if I attach it to say your staff, then as you fight you will “see”, or if I attach something like that to your armour, then wherever you move you will be able to “see”! How about that?”

He would get to see the holograms? Hades evidently had put a lot of time into his invention, but kept his excitment in check. The next thing he said really got Shogun's attention. "So I can use these things to see non-living things? Like Stalkers?"

“Firstly, I must ask you do you have an alternate method for sensing non-organic things, because if you do then I would not want my invention/ aids to stop you developing that skill. Ok, firstly I have a program that translates Hunter’s holograms, or just about any digital 3D image into a ‘organic’ hologram that you can see, so yes you will definitely be able to see any holograms, all I need is to see how sharp your ‘seeing’ ability is. If it is sharp, I only need to give you something the size of a PDA and it could display the holograms for you, if not bigger things would be needed.”
Hades paused for a minute to choose his words. “Let me put it this way. Pretend that you are a human with eyesight. You live in a pitch black world, what I will do is like giving you a spray gun with glow-in-the-dark mist. In effect that is what my little biological friends will do for you, when they attach to surfaces their ‘life pulse’ will get slightly stronger, so it will clearly show up anything, but it has a limited range and like mist, it is hard to get the micro-organisms to spread quickly without people noticing. So, to answer your question this may help you to sense/see the stalkers. I am also wondering about using something like plant spores to do the job, though I still need to do some more tests. So what do you think?”
