The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Kami was amazed by Gore's inability to see that his own argument was selfrefuting. He ignored the threats, as despite Gore's size advantage Kami had the equivilant of fourty years of normal training in the Shaolin arts. However, Tris's responce got a raised eyebrow in approval, the guy needed grounding.
Despite the no powers rule sharing powers seemed like a sensible idea. Aidan could minipulate electricity, something that sounded like a very devestating power. "I have exceptional stamina," Kami said as he set off once more after Gore, "I can go for months without food or sleep and feel no negative effects. I can also draw on my internal energy to make energy balls and throw them at objects."

Ah this whole goody goody thing that everybody was playing was really starting to get annoying. Jason looked back as each person in this group where sharing there feelings with each other and as far as he was concerned, was just a waste of time. Jason pushed on, making paths through the bushes focused on getting to this castle. Jason looked back and was glad to see the rest of his group was catching up.
Jason finally stopped once he made it to the castle. A little winded he pressed his hands up against the cold stone that this castle was built of. ‘Hmm… How are we going to get in this place’ Jason thought him self. There were windows and small holes he was sure they could fit through but that wouldn’t make this fun. Jason found one great big door that was at least three times as tall. And pushed. ‘Well if there’s a trap I'm sure it will be this way.’ He thought. He turned to the rest of the group and with a big smile leaned up on the door and pushed with all might breaking the seal and entering the castle. “I’m sure its time to have some fun now.”
“You handled yourself nicely with noname there. Remind me to stay on your good side next time I contemplate making you mad, OK?”
Tris grinned at Aidan's slightly backhanded compliment, she winked at him; "Well remain on good behavior and we shouldn't have a problem." she said with a smirk.
Aidan then went on to discuss power backgrounds, and Tris listened with avid interest, Aidan had an relationship with electricity it seemed, and Kami appeared to have the super human thing going for him, as well as energy balls which was cool.
It was Tris's turn next since Gore had stormed off up ahead, Tris showing no surprise at his not wanting to know stuff that could help their group at some point in the future. Addressing the other two men she was straight ford; "I seem to have an affinity with molecules, I can speed em up of slow em down- basically what this translates to in practical terms is that I can blow stuff up or freeze it......So its seems as if me and you boys have the ability to blow stuff up- an explosive group this one." she said with a grin.
Though while talking it had to be said, Tris still cast an eye up ahead on occasion to the castle they were approaching. She only caught glimpses of Gore through the wooded terrain, it appeared he was already at the castle doors. Tris shook her head -silly fool, always running ahead with no regard for others or his own safety, as her mother used to say- something was gonna happen if you aren't carefull and I wont be cleaning up the blood.
“It would seem we have quite the destructive group with us,” Aidan said after everyone had stated their powers. Noname of course hadn’t but what was new their. Aidan watched him as he continued to walk ahead of them but didn’t let it bother him much. “Especially since Tris can also freeze with her power that would have come in handy. Cest las vie however. I think we have a good balance of physical training here. It seems we should do fine once we get inside. Speaking of, has anyone seen a doorway in?”
No sooner had the question left his lips than the sound of a massive doorway being opened could be heard. It wasn’t the creak of unoiled hinges but the crack of a door seal being opened for the first time in who knew how long. Aidan looked toward the direction of the sound and saw Gore entering the structure. ‘Great,’ he thought. ‘If he gets himself in trouble we get to rescue him and all because he didn’t want to stay with the group. Oh well, that’s the nature of working with groups I suppose; you don’t always get along with everyone in them.’
“Shall we catch up to Noname and make sure he doesn’t get into too much trouble?” Aidan asked Tris and Kami as he looked toward the open door and then at the structure. This was going to be fun.

Kami nodded at the suggestion to catch up with Gore. Where the ignorant fool to get too far ahead and then in serious trouble they would have to work harder to get him out of it. However, if he wanted to go first and set off all the traps, Kami was more than willing to let him. Catching up Kami waited for the hothead to enter the structure first.

Crystal Clone Three eavesdropped on the teams conversation, courtesy of the many cameras and speakers hidden around the areas. She grinned to herself as she listened.
<"Still Mr. Sunshine, eh? Perfect. Let's show the others some more of that sunny disposition....">
The opening of the door set off a chain reaction. The corridor just beyond was littered with rubble, seemingly from the collapse of one of the inner walls. However the debris were merely props. The stones were real enough, of course, but they hid a number of small dart launchers. The darts themselves resembled miniature hypodermic needles, only an inch in length, with an even shorter needle. Each syringe carried within a tiny dose of paralytic that released into the blood stream upon impact. Although non-lethal, the chemical would very quickly render its victim unable to move or speak, while still allowing them consciousness and sensations. In other words, if you were hit, you could see, hear and feel everything happening around you, but couldn't say or do anything about it.
It would take five minutes for the effect to begin to wear off, and a full ten before it completely worked itself out of the system, a rather inconvenient factor in present circumstances. Five minutes is a long time when you can't move.
While opening the door 'c0cked the gun', Crystal was the one pulling the trigger. She waited for all four people to pass through the door, then opened fire.
(OOC: Consider the trap sprung, and rp the darts and launchers however you need/want too. Just keep in mind that Crystal isn't visible right now, so you don't know she's there. Other than that, have at it. )
The young redhead had been late, but this time she had a reason. Information on the whereabouts of her disappeared boyfriend had come up and she had tracked them down only to find a dead end with a wanna be cage fighter that was not anything like what she had fallen in love with. With a heavy heart, she rushed to the Mondragon Labs, deciding that she would move on and hopefully he would return to her.
She entered the lab and moved to her assigned section to meet up with everyone, but she was much more late than she had expected and they were already in the castle. With a growl, Fade darted in the direction of the doors and found the group talking outside of the castle. Three counted. No, four. Seems one had ignored the whole teamwork section of the operation and had moved on solo. Great. She would be working with quite a bunch. Even though she had never met them and had no clue where their loyalty lay, she wore her X-Man uniform. After all, it was most comfortable to use in practice.
"Pardon my tardiness, I had a few unsolved issues that I needed to deal with. I am here now." She began saying as she followed them into the castle. "I am Jenny but the common street name for me is Fade." No more information on her was needed in this situation unless asked. However, at the sound of a clicking noise, her attention quickly jerked to the projectiles that were flying in their direction.
Immediately, her first response was to drop to the ground, but the darts were definately being aimed, so she jumped up from the ground right as a dart made it's way into the sole of her boot. Lucky for her, it was aimed at her ground position, and not at her standing position. She kicked the dart off of her boot and flew over to the wall, pinning herself right next to one of the guns so she would not get hit by that gun.
"Where to?" Her attention was directed towards each of the scrambling teammates, even though she was tempted to ask the one that walked in too early since he seemed to know what to do.
((OOC: sorry for my lack of posting guys, me and Gore had something planned.....but we'll have to do it later I guess))
Tris agreed with the guys on this one- catch up with grumpy and atleast try to temper his stupidy was a good plan, it was reassuring to know atleast some of her teammates had alittle common sense.
They set off after Gore again, Kami getting there first, but Tris not long after. Tris slowly and cautiously entering the junk strewn corridor, a good rule of thumb she found with castles, training scenario or no, there could always be something lurking about so be careful.
While this was a good rule. Tris was quickly distracted as a girl came running up behind them, evidently another player for their team. At her introduction, Tris smiled; "Hey Jenny, or Fade if you prefer, I'm....." and trailed off as an unpleasant clicking sound seemed to re vibrate along the corridor. Tris turned back to see what it was, only to have swarms of darts fired at her. "Oh shit!" she yelped, staring at the ongoing tiny needles, her instinct to blow them up, not dive out of the way, time seemed to slow- or was that her powers? Tris didn't know, but she woke up to herself, remembering the no power rule, and flung herself aside, diving for the wall and a particular protrusion of cracked rock big enough to hide behind in her crouched position, breathing hard from the heavy adrenaline hit she'd just had.

OCC: HEY im back sorry I umm some things came up and had to fight the system. Lol
What in the hell is this? Jason thought to himself. You gotta be kidding me, another one! He peered down and saw someone else running towards the back of the group and this one was worse. An X-Men! Jason turned and started his way in to the castle. Maybe he could just do this one his own and not even have to worry about the others. With his strength and his bloods ability there shouldn’t be any problems. No powers that’s right. Jason turned to the group and decided to take a seat and wait for them kinda show them they were taking to long. No more then as his ass hit the ground people jumped up in what looked to be a defensive positions and Jason new that some fun was about to begin.
He quickly got up and turned the corner getting ready to take on whatever monster was awaiting him through the doors. When he turned he was surprised to find nothing. Then with a instant reaction he put his arms in front of his face to block some flying debris that was coming his way. He felt sharp points tear in to his skin and he felt his blood start to consume the unknown objects. “Ha, that’s all you got castle you…” was about all he could get out of his face before a strange effect started to come over him. “My arms, I cant feel my arms!” with that he felt more sharp objects hit his body. Where were they coming? He kept asking him self as he was getting weaker and weaker. “There!” muttered out pointing in the back corner at 3 small box firing these unknown projectile objects. And with those last words Aaron laid on the ground not able to move or say a word just laied there. Screaming at him self and the others in his head. “When I get up!!!”

Crystal shook her head as she watched through the holocams.
"Gotta learn to duck faster, Sunshine," she remarked.
As everyone took shelter, save the now unmoving Gore, the barrage of tiny missiles paused briefly, to reload. Those darts that littered the ground still posed a threat. Even a glancing scratch would send a small amount of the paralytic into the recipient's system, enough to numb that part of their body.
She waited to see if any of them would try and pull their fallen teammate out of harm's way, especially given his earlier impression.

Kami was ready for a trap. Flipping aside he negotiated his way to cover avoiding the barage. glancing out he saw that Gore was down. Once the barage stopped Kami was up and moving, racing towards Gore. He needed to get the big oaf out of htere before the needles fired again.
(OOC: Tris, you mentioned that you had something planned, so I leave it to you. If needs be the next barrage can fire, forcing Kami back and you can do your thing)
((My apologies. I had difficulties logging in for a while there))
Fade watched as the group scattered and the retard made his way right into some of the bullets. Cursing mildly under her breath, she ducked under the projectiles until noticing that they had ceased. Possibly out of ammunition, either that or the Captain laying on the ground had made them loose. She moved away from the wall and kicked the littered needles out of the way before setting her feet down. Her movements were fast but not too fast and she made sure she was not stepping on another booby trap with every breath she took.
"Alright. So who votes we do this as a team?" She scowled as she moved over towards Captain Retard. "Dear boy," she said, stooping next to him before examining the needles in him. "I don't believe you can raise your hand to vote in this democratic way of staying unharmed." Give everyone a chance. Maybe he's just trying to show off to us...well, that's not right, running right into the range of fire while putting the rest of his team in danger is not impressive in the least bit, she mentally scolded him.
