The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Reverse the question? I fail to see how that makes sense, I know that the boy is called Mandain. You're name would be Horus, would it not?"
Horus was not a man of patience and was getting a bit sick of the samurai his questions, "Reverse back your in mouth, No speak of Mandain, And Horus me yes, Humanity bows Superior for." Horus was making a reference to his past, where he was the god, and humans wore shipped him, till they stopped believing. The sword was lowered and put back where it belonged, but before that happened he tapped it once on the ground, something would be coming out from the ground sooner or later. "You god a" Horus was talking with not the friendly tone, but a tone of pride.

Now Shogun was having real trouble translating. Humanity bows Superior for? What? Then Horus put his sword sway, but first tapped it on the floor, and Shogun could sense the ripples that were sent down through it. Interesting. Then Horus sheathed the sword. "What did you do? You did something when you tapped your sword on the floor." Shogun would have no idea what it was until it was about to be used, so decided that it would be better to ask now. You god a? Was he calling Shogun a god? But the tone showed pride, and it seemed focussed towards himself. Shogun was starting to prefer talking to Mandain.
What did you do? You did something when you tapped your sword on the floor" You meet pets a god" Horus started laughing evil again, he was the god in the mortal realm, he could do things greater then life, he was the one that felt how it was to have real power, and being feared, he loved it. "You before stand a god, don't me try, you questions say a lot, but answer none" Horus his last sentence was as direct as could be, he didn't want to answer questions, he wanted to see fear. Mandain was struggling inside the head of his own body, trapped by something, a blockade of pure evil. One day the both them will have to work together, cause two enemy's in one body wouldn't work.
Ground started rupturing and ten hand palm size black blueish scarabs came crawling out. Circling around Horus they waited for their orders.

The evil side thought he was a god? Now that he thought about, he sensed absolutly no fear from him at all. Everybody had just a little fear, even if it was just a small amount of wariness. This was just one giant ego. Then he sensed something where the sword had tapped the ground, and whilst he sensed hostility, he sensed that it wasn't directed at him, so he didn't flinch as a sizeable number of large bugs poured from the ground and swarmed around Horus.
"A god? That's quite an impressive power. But then surely you would be able to stop this?" Even before he had started saying the last word, his sword flicked out ot nick Horus' arm. it wouldn't be much, just enough to draw blood. He seriously doubted that Horus could reach his sword, draw it, and block in the time it took Shogun to move his hand a couple inches. Horus' ego needed some major deflating before they could have an actual conversation.
A god? That's quite an impressive power. But then surely you would be able to stop this? The sword of Shogun, as the samurai called himself, quickly made a small cut in the arm of Horus, and it couldn't be blocked. Horus took a look at the cut where some blood came out, "Yes, I'm Mortal, you are so, You defy too dare me? Horus his scarabs were now circling around the samurai, one mistake from him and they would eat him from the inside. Horus whipped the blood on his arm, and liked it up. "This madness, Human versus Mutant, My revenge of chance, stop this? No need, Me kill em" Horus wanted to see the blood of humans flow threw the streets, he was their god, and they would feel it sooner or later.
Thought of Mandain rushed threw Horus his head again. "I'm not letting you kill Innocent people" Mandain said in head. "Innocent!? Horus started shouting letting Mandain know how he thought about it. "People need know too their place in life!, You don't see? "Horus don't you see? Blinded by hate, you need to come to reality" "I don't hear wanna!" Horus was angry, his scarabs were restless around Shogun.

Now he was admitting to mortality, whilst still beleiving himself to be a god. Only one word could describe this thing; insane. Well and truly insane. And the insane are often the most deadly. The man also seemed to completly ignore any pain from the cut, and licked the blood instead. Then mandain rose up, and the two of them started to have a fight in their mind. Shogun did not miss the fact that the bugs were now swarming around him. "Would you please remove your pets? Also, I would like to have a word with Mandain. If you could be so kind as to relinquish control of the body, I would be most pleased." He felt a small amount of pity for Mandain; the boy had to live with this maniac.
Would you please remove your pets? Also, I would like to have a word with Mandain. If you could be so kind as to relinquish control of the body, I would be most pleased." Horus retracted his scarabs, all but one remained. "You speak too wish my host?, Ill gone be then" Horus went back inside the mind and let the hold of the body go, letting Mandain in charge again. Mandain fell on one knee and puffed out, last time he blacked out, and that wasn't pleasant. "Thanks, I'm sorry about that thing, I'm trying to get a grip on it" He got back up and leaned on the wall for some support. He felt pain, pain on his arm, as he took a look he saw a nice clean cut, blood already was gone, but when he looked at Shogun's sword he could see a stain on it. "I guess it was for the necessary then" he took his eye's of the cut and back too Shogun. Mandain felt anger, something he didn't felt for a long time, since he came to America. He wanted peace, no blood shed, love, no anger, but anger was filling him up, darkness flowing threw his veins, who knew what was to become of Mandain, follow Horus, or stay put.

Most of the bugs left, and judging from the sheer amount of hostility from them, that could only be good. Surprisingly, Horus agreed to leave, and slipped into the back of the mind. Mandain took over, and now maybe they could have an actual conversation. andain noticed the cut, and it seemed to fill him with anger. Why? It had stopped bleeding, it couldn't hurt much more. Shogun took note of the way Mandain was eyeing the sword, so he reattached both of them together, retracted the blades, and slid it into the scabbard on his back.
"Greetings Mandain. I'm it can't be the most ideal of situations to have Horus in their with you. I was curious, as I have never met someone with a split personality before coming to america, and you are the third I've come across. I merely would like to know more about it, how two minds can posess one body, and whether it is different for each individual." He hoped that the anger in the boy would be focussed upon Horus, or at least controlled, and that the boy would answer his questions.
As Shogun finished his sentence he took a deep breath and sat down against the wall, now with his head between his legs. "It's hard, Waking up somewhere not knowing what happened, Horus seems to be having fun" He looked up, got up, and tried to be a bit more strong. "Iv been with him all my life, not knowing of him, or what the mysterious tattoo was doing on my back when I was born, I'm gonna talk to somebody about it, trying to control him, Sorry if I hurt you in any way" Mandain was himself again, anger slipped away with ease. He wasn't gonna lay his hart open to Shogun, since they just met, but all he wanted was to talk too somebody, things weren't going as they were suppose to. Love, Powers, Split personality, Anger, and more things left unsaid

So when one was in control, the other couldn't always tell what was happening? Interesting. "I am uninjured, he didnt get around to actually attacking me." Shogun bent at the knees, so that he was squatting level with the boy. "How can two minds inhabit one body? How do you decide who controls it when? Or do you just fight an ongoing battle?" How could someone function at all if they were constantly warring with their own mind?
Shogun started asking question after question, and some of the answers he didn't even know himself. "I don't know how he got in my body at all, most of the time he comes out when danger is there, but sometimes when he just feels like it" Mandain looked at Shogun and smiled, "It's not a battle, more like an irritating brother, you hate him, but you can't live without him" The smile faded away and Mandain closed his eye's.
His life was gone, his soul was divided by ego's, he was two persons. "Deal with it" said the voice inside his head "Don't wine and be man, live up to humans, destroy them it's not that they have ever been nice to you, stand up, for mutants, let the word fear you!" Horus kept on going saying the words repeating the sentence over and over. His head was spinning, feeling like it would explode. "I'd better go find that man who was sitting at head of the table to learn more about my other half"

Ah, this was interesting. Like a brother. He'd been an only child, as far as he knew, so he had no experience of siblings, but he could guess. Then the boy said he wanted to see the man at the head of the table in the meeting. "Antonescu? I don't know where he is, he never seems to stay still for long." In fact, Antonescu would have to get fairly close whilst in the labs for Shogun to sense him. Because the shroud aroound the labs was his, he could 'fit' into it, and be unnoticeable from a distance. This made finding him very hard, but he had never found cause to seek him out. But then again, he would like to talk to him about getting his things from Japan. "We could go find him. I have something to talk to him about anyway."
(Ooc: Hunter has to finish the post with Kitra before he can Rp with us so I"ll guess we have to wait a bit Ic:
Mandain didn't really get the name of the man at the meeting, but Shogun told him, Antonescu, fancy name. For some reason Shogun had to see him too so he asked Mandain if they could go find him. "Yeah, that would be great, I hope you know these grounds better then me" Mandain laughed again and was ready to leave at any time. Horus wasn't going on in his head anymore, he was calm, maybe a sleep, at least he had some rest. "Just tell me if I'm being bold, but I presume you are a mutant too, what's your gift?" He smiled and had his hands in his pockets, his blood was starting to get a kick on the hart, sometime soon he had to get some medication or he would be in trouble.

Shogun could sense that Horus was buried far into the boy's mind, and confident that he could tell long before he reared his 'godly' head again. Mandain asked about his powers, and since he had been kind enough to give a demonstration in the meeting, and they might be fighting together, Shogun thought it only fair to tell the boy most about his power. "I am blind, which is why I wear an eyeless mask. My power allows me to see, but not in the ordinary sense, as far as I can tell. I can sense living things around me, who they are, and what they're doing. I can also use a form of pulse, that radiates out and lets me know about any non-living things nearby." He left out the mind reading part, as he didn't think the boy needed to know about that. Also, it was nice to have something up his sleeve. "I know you can create ion, but I'm afraid I don't know what ion is. Could you elaborate?"
So Shogun was a blind mutant with the gift to see around him. "That's not new" Mandain gave a laugh " Dare devil has that too, that's a comic about a mutant who fights evil and is blind too, using your gift" Mandain found it rather amusing, since he liked the comic back in the day's he was a kid.
Shogun asked about the Ion he showed at the meeting, what it was. "Ion energy, An ion is a magnetic charged atom, in my case it's overloaded with electricity, causing it to destroy technology, it's like it eats threw it. Why it's purple I don't know, but you can't see that anyway so.." Mandain ended with silence but was glad he was with a new friend wandering threw these dark hallways. "You ever heard about stalker bots? I'm sure you do, well if they have a bit of technology coming out or if I can see a bit of wire, they are toast, When Horus took over once, I found myself batteling one, kind of scary when you wake up and see one" He smiled and waited.
