The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Well i think the only ones that really have it coming anymore are these jerks that locked up my best friend Ted, and all the other people living at the masion and on the streets, and that force young children to hide in society because they can't hide the fact they are a mutant." Geo walked over to the fridge and grabbed a water, he turned back to see Josh. "You want one?"
"Naw I'm gone." Josh started towards the door but paused for a second and looked up at the ceiling. "I'll be there on the front lines to help you break out your friend.........you can count on that." Josh got to the door and went through it. But not before a few parting words. "Be seeing you Geo. "
Geo watched as Josh left, "Thanks man," He mumbled as he drank the rest of his water and tossed it into a trash can, he sighed hoping that Deja was ok. He wanted to give her the space she needed so he decicded to stay for a little while. Tristan walked over to a none destroyed punching bag and transformed his fist. "They're gunna have to pay for what they did." Tristan slammed his massive fist into the bag and it jumped back and came down swiging like crazy.

Kaz heard Abyss coming before he ever saw him, so the tap didn't take him by surprise. With his toothy maw, Kaz gave Abyss the best smile he could and nodded his head towards the two boys in the room. The two seemed to be about finished when Abyss dismissed them. As Zodiac was passing by Kaz, he turned his head and leaned close to the boy, "You're not ready to fight me boy. No where close." Kaz kept his voice soft and relatively quiet, but it also had a knowing tone to it. Kaz knew that he could have ripped the boy in half with sheer force of strength, or if he had been in his normal form, picked the boy apart while dodging every attack thrown at him. To Geo, Kaz centered his gaze on the boy's massive fists. <Both of these boys are front line fighters, though this one would probably be more versatile.>
"Glad to see you're alright Abyss." Kaz gave the red giant another one of his best smiles he could, though his tone showed that he really was glad. Kaz still in his second form, walked over towards Abyss and kneeled, though he nearly five feet tall still. "Eh, it's alright. I would prefer to be at my warehouse but," Sighing, "In all reality, this is probably the safest place for Nicki and the others." Kaz picked up the heaviest dumbbell near him with two outstretched fingers. "Is this really gonna help ya any Abyss?" Kaz asked with a chuckle and held up the weight so Abyss would be able to see it. "Where's the Statue of Liberty when ya need it, no?"
Kaz knew what Abyss had gotten from Atlas a bit before the raid and was curious how it worked out for him, beyond the obvious. "I'm curious Abyss. I know the raid on Sanctuary was a success, but how'd the armor and weaponry work out for ya?"

As Shogun continued to train, the girl came into the room to watch. At least the guys next door had begn to calm down, but the girl seemed upset about something. He continued anyway, gradually increasing the difficulty of what he was doing, until the spear became a blur. He whirled with it, lunging, piercing, the spear seemed to flow around him. He then slowed it down again, gradually decreasing in speed until he finally stopped. He hung up the spear, and chose a large axe. It was two handed, and part of the blade extended halfway down the shaft. That had the bonus of covering his right hand, so that it it would be protected from attacks. He had a great dislike for heavy weapons, as they were slow. But he practised anyway, swinging it around, and slamming it down into the floor. It left a barely noticable dent in the floor, which Shogun found surprising. Apparently the axe was hardier than he thought. He began swinging it around, only slowly, but he was getting tired. It was difficult to keep up momentum, and sweat began running down the inside of his armour as he continued to swing it around and around.
Eventually, he dropped the axe, and dropped to his knees, panting. He forced himself to stand up, and put the axe back in it's place. He then dropped down near the girl, and took off his mask. As usual, he was wearing his blindfold underneath, so his eyes were still covered. But it meant that he could take a drink from the nearby water bottle, which he did, and drained it. "So you'll be part of this resistence then? We may end up fighting together, if you end up on the battlefield." Having no idea of what her powers were meant that he couldn't begin to guess what her role would be.
As Deja watched Shogun, pratice, he was amazing. He seemed so sure and confident of himself. Eventually, as she watched him, her tears faded away and she was okay. She then noticed him take off his mask revealing a blind fold. She then in shock, heard him speak to her.
So you'll be part of this resistence then? We may end up fighting together, if you end up on the battlefield. Deja then spoke.
"Yeah, I'm part of the resistance. Wanna get my friends back, and, maybe we will see each other on the battlefield.'' Deja soon rosed from the ground. "My name is Deja, and yours?" Deja was wondering, what this guy could do.
Geo continued to pound on the punching bag with his massive fist. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a massive red man walk into the room and sit down at a workin bench. "Whoa," Geo muttered to himself. He made a final punch at the bag and it swung up and hit the ceiling. He walked over to the big red man, "From the looks of your strength i'm guessing that your gunna be on the front lines."

The girl seemed to have become less upset as she watched him train. It must have helped her to forget whatever had upset her. "I go by Shogun." He was now a little less out of breath, and decided to start training again. He analyzed each weapon on the wall, and then chose a morning star. It comprised of an iron rod, with a chain attached to one end. On the end of the chain was a solid metal spiked ball. Chain weapons were his least favorite, because they could be very unpredictable. But he persevered, and after a few practice swings he had gotten used to the way it moved. He wondered if the girl was accustomed to combat, and so he slowed down his movements until he came to a stop.
"Have you tried armed combat? Or do you have other abilities to aid the resistance?"
"Have you tried armed combat? Or do you have other abilities to aid the resistance?" Deja then shuddered. hearing the words of combat, gave her shudders. Yeah, she had been training but it seemed so much more real, when he said it. She then looked at him,and spoke.
"Well, I'm not sure. I know I few moves to protect myself but not like you. Actually,I've never trained in my entire life!" Deja didn't know why she was talking to him but decided to keep it up. "So..can you show me how you did those moves so fast?" Deja was very curious,I mean this guy was like a ninja!

So not a fighter then? Shame. "Practise. I've spent my entire life learning how to fight. After almost 30 years of practise, I am sure i could defeat any human. It was only recently that I realised that there were mutants to test my abilities further." He swung the mace a few more times, getting the weight of it, and then he picked up another from the racks along the wall. The two maces were identical, which was good. He was most efficient with two different weapons, even iif the only difference is in length, but now he had Antonescu's swords he needed practise with identical weapons.
"Watch how I swing these maces. I keep my hands perfectly in time, so they don't knock together." He started swinging them, purposefully keeping it slow and simple. He had one swinging forward, and the other swinging so that if he got the timing wrong they would smash together. Without stopping them swinging, he spoke to Deja, "It can be difficult when you're not ambidextrous, but it comes with practise." Tehy continued swinging round, whistling within millimetres of each other, but never connecting.
Deja looked at Shogun, analyzing his moves in her brain without even knowing it. It was strange. Like once, she was watching a jackie chan movie, and noticed him do this kick, and she did the same exact kick. Even though she hit a vase, broke it and got grounded. But you get my drift. Deja soon, grabbed a pair of mace. "Like this?" Deja began twirling it, not hitting them together at all. She was liking this.

Shogun nodded. "Very good. Try spinning them faster, and see how close together you can get them." He had difficulty following them with his pulses, but by telling exactly what her hands were doing he could make a very good guess at what they were doing. He realised that for the first time in his life, he was the teacher, not the student. He finally understood how his grandfather had put up with him all those years; teaching was fulfilling. It wasn't like training by himself, where he was entirely focussed on bettering his own abilities. Here, he was passing on knowledge to someone else. And this someone else was impressive, especially since she hadn't trained before. If he wasn't able to see through lies, then he wouldn't have believed her.

Kaz listened and nodded to Abyss as he spoke, and chuckled a bit at the 'cold shoulder' joke. Sighing Kaz shifted back to his normal form, setting the weight down. "I think we have the opposite things to work on." Kaz reached out to lift up the weight again, finding it to be much more difficult. He could feel his arms working to lift it, but that isn't to say he couldn't do it. "Yeah, defiantly need to work on strength."
Kaz watched Abyss put the weights up and slide out. "Sorry to hear about the newbies man. Do you know if they got out safe? What happened to the girls?" Standing up Kaz looked around him and began to walk around the room, thinking to himself. Thinking about Isabel and Amp. Kaz saw the impact in the wall that he had forgotten about when Abyss arrived. Stepping near the doorway he heard the girls' voice and...another man's, but neither one that had been in the weight room. The voices were very soft from where he stood, he could hear words, but not make out what they were. Shrugging Kaz pressed on the intercom near the door, "You have the location of this room correct?" A small click proceeded a woman's response, "Yes Sir. What can I do for you?" Kaz raised an eyebrow, <Sir?> Putting it out of his mind he continued, "You might want to close down this weight room for a bit and get the walls fixed, it seems a few people got a bit rowdy." Another click, another response, "Alright, thank you Sir. I'll add it to the maintenance report."
Turning towards Abyss, "I'm glad the armor and weapons worked out for you." Kaz took an exaggerated breath, "Ya know, I figured...Who am I kidding. Humans are morons. I don't think they thought out what could happen if they rounded us up." Kaz looked Abyss in the eyes, "I don't know if I want any humans to survive after this." Of course that thinking was conflicted for Kaz. His dead fiancee had been human, Nicki's mom was human. Both of them were good people. But they were the needles in a hay field. Humans deserved what they've brought apon them....but Kaz wasn't sure if he could slaughter so many and not kill the one or few that were good people.
This was WAR and Kaz knew it. Not war on an international scale, but more of a revolutionary civil war. He needed to start thinking that way. People die, people get hurt, things are destroyed. The only thing that needs and should be on his mind is how to destroy those camps and set the collected mutants free. Though, telling himself this, Kaz can't help but think of Nicki and Katrina, Nicki's mom and Judy. And it showed on his face as he ran his hand through his long silver hair.
Very good. Try spinning them faster, and see how close together you can get them. Deja smiled, and started twirling the mace's faster. The speed, was kinda like a jump rope. It kept spinning and spinning. She wondered, how he knew that she was doing good with them. Anyways, she did what he said. She wondered how the boyz were doing, but, decided to keep focus with Shogun.

She was a natural with them. Even he hadn't been this good when he had picked up his first mace. But then again, he had been about twelve at the time. "Excellent. Now try putting them slightly out of time with each other." He would be very impressed if she pulled this off. It had taken him a year to do it consistently. It involved having them going at different speeds, but still not colliding. Obviously, they would collide some time, and he had spent a large part of that year learning to do it when they vary speeds. A very difficult task indeed.
