The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((OOC: I'd normally wait for the others, but since this is 'out of the room'..I'll post.))
Kaz watched the man step to move past him. Sighing, Kaz lifted his arm and held it out in front of the man, Kaz's hand was larger than the man's torso and with his fingers out, he nearly filled the hall. "Go fuck yourself." Rolling his eyes, "Wrong answer kid." Kaz moved himself in front of the man, moving his already held out hand towards Zodiac, while his other large arm and hand went to grab the man from behind.
Josh though to himself, 'Fighting, my entire day so far had been fighting. Is it always like this around these people. I mean sparring is one thing but some random dude I've never met wants to fight. I love fighting and even this seems out of place........well whatever. I'll just drop him and go on about my business.' Josh focused for a second and then released his exoskeleton. He gave a cocky grin and then sprung the stinger from his right hand. Without a seconds hesitation, he thrust his stinger towards the montrous creatures hand, ready to inject his paralytic poison.

Kaz gave the man a smirk and let the man's stinger slip between his large fingers, while closing those fingers around the man's hand with great strength to prevent him from pulling away, he moved his hand a bit more to get a better angle on the man's chest. Because the man had come forward he had basically walked into Kaz's grasping hand. Bringing his other hand in behind the man and clasped his hands together, essentially turning the man into a mutant sandwich.
A hot, burning sensation began to pulse through Kaz's blood. Kaz twitched throughout his body, which caused his hands to momentarily tense, putting more pressure on the man with a great crushing force. Clenching his teeth he glared at Zodiac. "Oooo....Nice toxin." A shudder ran down Kaz's spine as he felt the last of the toxin being neutralized. "What's it suppose to do?" Raising an eyebrow at the man, "Am I going to have to kick your ass to get you to listen to me, or will you go back into the room on your own without further aggression?" Kaz was really hoping he would see the smart move from the moronic one.
Josh flexed out to keep the beast hand's from crushing him. Josh had been having a bad day already and was'nt about to be made to do something. He didnt have alliances to any of these people and wasnt going to be their maid either. "Your one ugly bitch you know that."
Geo watched as zodiac powered down then walked over to Deja, whispered something in he ear and left the room. Tristan glared after him until he saw Deja cover her eyes in an attempt to stop from crying, "Deja!," He ran over to her, "Are you ok, what did he say?"

Kaz was getting tired of this man quickly. The disregard for his own safety wore on Kaz's nerves. His tone wasn't something Kaz liked either. "Beauty comes in many forms, usually under the skin boy." The man seemed to flex under Kaz's grip, which did little to relieve the pressure on him. Sighing, Kaz pressed his hands together, then lifted Zodiac off the ground. The man was at Kaz's mercy, fully within his grasp with no way to move or fight back, except for kicking futilely at Kaz.
Kaz walked forward and entered the weight room. He saw a woman and another guy, both from the meeting. "I don't care if you fight each other, I don't even care if you KILL each other. BUT!" Kaz looked around the room to see the destruction that was caused and waited and made sure the attention was on him. "DO NOT FIGHT IN HERE!" Kaz moved his gaze from Geo, to Dream, and then to the man in his hand. "There are specialized rooms for you to fight or train in that you can use your abilities without risk of harming the employees here or destroying the equipment." He saw that the girl seemed to be crying and figured she hadn't been part of the destruction. "You," He pointedly spoke to Dream, "Can leave if you'd like. Or, you could stay here and help these two fix up the room that they just trashed." Kaz bent down a bit, moved his arm holding Zodiac back, then brought it forward quickly, letting the man go sliding across the floor rather gently. Kaz stood in the doorway, crossing his smaller arms across his chest while he flexed his larger fingers of each hand.
Josh stopped himself mid-slide and gracefully sprung up to his feat. The guy was strong, real strong, and as much as he'd love to figure a way to beat him, he just decided to let this one go. But he knew that one day they'd fight again, and he made sure that this guy knew this. "We're gonna do this again sometime, soon, and I'm going to rip a lung out of you........you can count on it." After speaking his mind, Josh walked over and picked up the dumbell he had thrown at Geo earlier. He tried not to acknowledge Deja or Geo as he put the weight up.

Shogun had been headed to the training area to practise with some more unique weapons, as he figured that the attacks on the camps were going to involve some pretty unique battlegrounds to fight on. This explained why he was making his way there in his armour, complete with new mask. He was impressed that the doctor managed to make it exactly the same as the old one, as far as he could tell. But then he noticed four mutants from the meeting were having a bit of a brawl. He noticed something very strange; whilst one of them definately had the same mind, it was a completly different body. It was bigger, and had extra arms. Interesting power. He headed for that room, intrigued as to what they were doing. He could tell what they were saying from quite some distance, thought the one with extra arms was arder. He'd never tried to follow anything so closly except for humans/human-shaped mutants. Certainly interesting.
He stepped into the room, jjust as one of the boys threw a threat at the other lad. Shogun was in full agreeance with the shifter: breaking Antonescu's things/employees was definately a no-no. He could feel the tension between the boys, and they had evidently just had a fight. "If you are going to spar, I suggest you use the set areas." If they wanted to fight again, then the shifter should be able to break them up easily, but Shogun'd stay nearby in case they got out of hand. He moved to the next room, which was one of said training areas, and picked up a spear from one of the racks lining the walls. He wasn't fond of spears, but their reach was quite useful. He started practising with it, but paid close attention to the next room.
As Geo, came to her aid and asked her, what Josh said. She couldn't tell him, that would just start more commotion. Deja then looked at him, and spoke. "Umm..it's nothing." Deja, soon heard a commotion, and Josh was yelling. Him and some guy appeared. This guy had extra arms. Deja wouldn't been so interested but she was too hurt. She then noticed the guy speak to her, telling her she could leave. Deja noticed Josh enter the room, and she was pissed. Deja then walked over to Josh, stared him straight in the face, and slapped him with authority." Deja then looked at Geo. Deja soon, made her way out the room, only to notice some guy, training. She quickly made her way into the room, really down. She just sat and watched.
Tristan watched as Geo smacked Josh with avengence and wanted to ask her what was going on but he didn't want to push the question. He walked over and grabbed a push broom and started to sweep up the sand, he looked over to Josh as he did this, "Care to tell me what that was all about?" He noticeds a samurai type man walk in and start training.
Josh watched Deja leave after she had slapped him. With nothing to say, he just turned around and continues cleaning. He had never seen Deja so mad at him, and he could'nt say he did'nt deserved to be slapped for what he said, but he was too down to argue back. Upon hearing Geo's question, Josh responded curtly, "Let her tell you."
Greo understood that the guy didn't want to answer, "So whats your opinion on all this mutant versus humans bit?" He figured that if they had to be in the same room together they mine as well chat. After Geo got the sand all together he placed his hand in it and it began to flow back into the empty punching bag.
Josh decided to lighten up a little towards Geo. After all, he had'nt done anything to him so there was no real reason to stay blown up. "Well, my parents are human, and most of my friends were human so I not a human hater. I'm just against the persecution of anyone. Whether it be human or mutant. I mean this whole camp thing is wrong, but I dont think its okay for us as mutants to abuse our powers for personal gain." He paused. "You?"
"Well," Geo said lifting up the punching bag and hooking it to the chain, "My parents were human and so was my sister. My parents disowned me when my powers manifested and my sister was the only one that really accepted me. I never had many friends before i came here, just alota girls that never ment nothing. So i was outcasted by everyone and got nothing but trouble ever since i got my powers and i think we should put humans in there place for what they do to us,"
Josh brushed his hands after picking up the last piece of debris and throwing it in the trashcan. "Well I gotta be honest Geo, I could never let you hurt a human who did'nt have it coming." Josh paused. "And I hope you would do the same."
