The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The twins were, again, in rough shape when they got back to the Sanctuary. Blood covered Vibe's back, partially dried around a set of four nasty-looking gashes. Amp's ankle was bruised and swollen, and she couldn't put any pressure on it. They were bruised from head to toe, and both girls were breathing shallowly because of the pain deep breathing caused. On top of it all, their sugar level had fallen to a dangerous 49. Any lower and they would go into hypoglycemic shock.
This time neither girl gave the doctors any trouble as they were given numerous shots to get their sugar levels up and to keep the pain down as they were patched up.
Just before they were finished, Vibe grinned weakly.
>Now that was an awesome party....<
Across the room, Amp giggled. "Yeah, a real blast."
Syn came into the infimary shortly after the twins. The girl hadn't been beaten up very much since all she really did was wrestle around with Tricity a bit. Any small scratches she had from scuffing around on the ground were already healed. She did let one of the doctors check her hearing after that sound attack that the X-Men used to distract herself and the others to allow Tricity and her group time to enter KP.
Walking over to where the twin girls were resting Syn looked them both over and smiled. "You girls did great. I was very impressed with your abilities and how you handled the X-Men. You both are officially part of The Order now. Now, get your rest and we can talk more later."

Vibe grinned drowsily as Syn walked in and praised their work. Neither of them had ever cared what others thought of what they did, and they still didn't. But it seemed they'd found a few kindred spirits in this group, and both were pleased. Maybe they would stick around for a while, and see what else came down the pike.
"Glad you approve," Amp replied with a devilish grin. "You sure know how to throw some wild parties around here."
>Just how we like it.< Vibe added.
They nodded, and waved wearily at their red-and-black haired host.

The television volume suddenly turned up as the Doc used his remote to do so. The news was on and there were two people being shown half-screen each, one at KP and the other in front of the Senate. The one in front of KP had a few siren lights flasing behind her and a few people running around with caution tape, examining the area.
"Yes, Don, this has been confirmed. Detectives along with scientists have found numerous blood samples that all point to mutants being involved in this struggle over whatever matters that were in dispute. Details of which mutants involved remain unknown, a few of them don't have a criminal record and a few others seemed to have warped their DNA structure with the mutant X gene, so we police were unable to pin any face to them."
"But you are saying that these were mutants involved, correct?" The television now kicked off the man in front of the Senate and changed to a man siting at the news desk, the anchor.
"Yes, Don, this is correct, again, no information on exactly who was involved they are still working on that." She nodded, holding her ear phone.
"Well, let's turn to Ray Uphore on details of how the Senate is now taking this unknown fight, Ray?" The woman was bumped off of her section and the man standing in front of the Senate appeared.
"Right. We have just received word that a member of the US Congress is, in fact, angry at these mutant fights and this one seems to have really pressed the matter. He has brought up a bill that he formed many years ago but did not feel as though it would pass easily unless mutants proved to be 'dangerous'. There are few details given to the public and the media at this point but it seems that he intends to set up camps for mutants and have them register. They will be closely watched and guarded so that no more uprisings like this will occur and America will be quote safe unquote."
"Mutants have caused problems in the past but we have reason to believe that this was not a bad mutant band versus a bad mutant band but it seems as though the details behind this fight are not all bad and targeting non-mutants."
"Yes, Don, but the Congress and the American public sees this as a warning of what mutants can bring. If this is going to be the case in the future, Congress is begining to think that the only way that we can now turn is to radical approaches." The male, apparently Ray, replied.
"What about mutants in hiding?"
"Again, no details of the bill, just that they intend to find all of the mutants that they can find that and place them under brotherly supervision."
"So any word of advice for the mutant population out there?"
"Be careful and prepare for these new bills is all I can say. It seems that he is slowly gaining support."
"Thank you, Ray, Mindy. So for all of you mutants out there, it seems that Congress finally wants order. We will keep you updated when we learn more. In other news, the serial killer, Dan Sturgy, has been caught and brought in-" The Doc turned the news on mute and sighed before shaking his head and moving on to the next patient.
Isabel was sitting quietly off to the side of the infirmary on one of the examining tables. Or to be more exact, she was sitting on the table pouting and glaring at the Doctor and one of his nurses. She was not happy, not happy at all. Isabel didn't like doctors, and she liked doctors even less when they had needles in their hands. She'd been cooperative enough while they bandaged up her bitten shoulder, put a bandage across the bridge of her nose and taped a gauze pad across her scratched cheek. Nothing could be done about the bruises that were beginning to show up, so they were left alone. However, the thing that was causing her to sulk in such a manner was the needle and thread being pulled through the skin of her arm where she'd been scratched from wrist almost to elbow by the lupine. Both the doctor and the nurses had successfully been able to keep both that needle and the thread out of Isabel's hands and so she had to let them patch her up rather than doing it herself. As the Doctor was tying up the ends of the stitches, Isabel let a small spine jab at his hands, not aiming to harm, but instead to startle, a small grin spreading across her features as the Doc's hands immediately moved away from his work. With a disapproving look from him, he motioned for one of the nurses to come and bandage the arm to better protect the wound.
Lazily she let her attention trail up tot he television once the medical staff had left her alone, a troubled expression crossing her features soon replaced by one of anger. Who the hell did these humans think they were? She didn't like the sound of camps and registry one single bit. These people were going to attempt to herd them all up like cattle just because of one little fight. Bastards. At the mention of 'brotherly supervision' she scoffed. She knew just what kind of supervision these people would use, and it would be anything but 'brotherly.' She let her gaze shift to Abyss -or perhaps it was one of his clones- as he spoke, not having noticed him come in until he'd spoken. She spoke a simple "Agreed," before she slipped off the table and leaned against the nearest wall, letting what had been said on the television sink in a little further.

"You think we can find out who that senator is trying to pass the bill? Because I think he needs to meet his end before we are all tagged and watched by our big brother, looks like we need to get the haywire strand into the water now. before our work is for naught." One the Abysses spoke up, followed by a simple, "Agreed," from Isabel.
"Send 'em a case of Perrier with Haywire in it," Amp scoffed. "That oughta loosen 'em up."
Vibe looked at her sister, an unusually worried expression on her face. Her eyes dropped, then she lay on her stomach on the bed, facing away from the others. Amp could tell she wasn't asleep, but she didn't say anything aloud.
She shifted, trying to find a comfortable position for her elevated leg.
Syn turned to her brother and listend to him. She liked his idea and it was good that Isabel also agreed. However, when Amp suggested sending a special gift to the senator Syn smiled at the idea. "Now that would make things interesting indeed, but instead of trying to find one senator why not send them all a dose of Haywire." Syn's green eyes had a flash of sinister intent when she spoke.

Kaz walked into the room flanked by Lyn. "A dose of Haywire would be interesting." He saw one of the clones, possibly Abyss himself, Syn, Isabel and the twins. <That's everyone.> Kaz had started thinking about the Order...and if he REALLY fit in here. He pushed that thought train out of the way, something for another time. His gaze settled on the Twins. "Hey, you mind helping them first." He motioned to the Twins as he spoke to Lyn who had already moved passed him towards the beds.
"Sure, why not." Lyn moved to the girls and looked them over. One girl seemed to have some nice lacerations on her back, while the other's leg was severely swollen. "Stay still. This won't hurt." Her arms and hands began to glow as she placed them just above the cuts. Immediately her flesh began to knit back together. A lock of hair fell into her face, she shook and threw her head back a bit to get it out of her vision.
"I'm guessing you all saw the report too huh. Though while a Haywire induced death would be fun, it would probably just pass the law faster." Kaz moved over near Isabel and plopped himself down on one of the unoccupied beds after putting the headrest almost completely up.

Vibe merely nodded as a new voice, a woman, told her to hold still. Her mind was elsewhere, so she didn't really notice at first what she was doing. Amp, meanwhile was busy listening to Syn and Abyss plot.
When the woman was finished, Amp turned slightly and spoke up. "She said thank you." Then she turned her focus back to the conversation. Vibe wasn't translating to her, so she was having to rely on what she could 'read'.

Lyn raised an eyebrow at Amp. "Can she not talk for herself?" Her tone was flat and inquisitive, not accusing or annoyed. Taking a bit of extra time, she ran her hands over Vibe checking for anything else she could do. There were a few things here and there, but they were 'minor', at least enough to be left alone for the time being to do what she could for the others. Turning to Amp, she didn't have to check to see that her foot was messed up good.
Immediately she began to work on Amp's foot. Touching the foot gingerly, she began to let the flow of energy seep into Amp. Almost immediately the swelling began to go away. Flaminia had no idea what was ACTUALLY wrong with the foot, she would have to see an X-Ray for that, and even then there was little chance she would understand what was wrong unless it was obviously broken, but that didn't hamper the effect. After a few minutes, Amp's foot was good as new.
Flaminia looked around the room and saw only one other person on one of the bed/tables. She walked over to the girl with the ribbon, a natural sway to her hips. "Damn. What happened to you?" As she spoke she moved her hands to Isabel's arm, the one with the stitches. "That's uncomfortable I'm sure." Her hand began to glow.
Slowly Isabel allowed her focus to return back to everyone in the Infirmary, not wishing to dwell upon the unnerving news of the possible future mutant conditions nor the idiotic humans trying to get the bill passed. She would like to have a nice little chat with the senator, though no promises would be made that he'd be able to speak any more afterward, or breathe for that matter. Distractedly her gaze shifted over to the next two people that entered, Kaz and a young woman she'd never met before. Her gaze followed that woman in her curiosity, watching as she did something to the twins. Apparently she was some sort of healer.
Turning from the mutant medical procedures, she listened quietly to the others speak, mentally making notes of the points they made and weighing the pros and cons in the discussion. Her attention quickly snapped to whoever it was nearest her as she was addressed. She simply gave a smug little grin to the young woman. "You should have seen the other two," she replied, uncrossing her arms, trying to make it easier for the woman to do whatever it was that she did. "Well it doesn't exactly feel good. I'm sure I've had worse," she lied, keeping her tone casual as her grin faded back into a blank expression, wondering if she should cut the stitches and bandages or not.

Kaz listened to Pluto and scoffed. "Yeah right. You really think those stone heart jerks think of us as anything other than track and a menace?" Kaz leaned forward and put each leg over a different side of the bed. "You're probably right, it'll probably bring all mutants together, at least here in the US. Even so, there's more of them than us, easily 10 to 1 or more. While we as a whole are stronger and better than they are, if they all level guns our way and fire. We'll die. Simple as that." Kaz leaned back, "Don't bet a cent they'll shed a tear if that ever happened."
Lyn rolled her eyes at Kaz, though she had the same thoughts running through her head. The Ribbon girl moved her arm so she could get at it better. "Hmm...These should come out." She reached over and grabbed the scissors, snipping the end of the stitches, she pulled them out. As she did her hand glowed a seemingly angry glow as more energy flowed. As Isabel's wound reopened it nearly instantly closed up as Lyn moved her hand down the slash. "I'm sure you have had worse." She didn't quite believe it, but she let the girl keep her dignity. It didn't take long for that wound to be healed. When it was she moved to the girl's shoulder. "This might sting." Lyn ripped the bandage off Isabel's shoulder revealing the bite. "Piss off a dog?" Clamping her hand on the shoulder she poured energy into it sealing and healing it.
Lyn blinked a few times and swooned a bit before catching her balance. "Woah. Take it easy there Lyn." She heard Kaz say as she slowly waved her hand over Isabel's face, from cheek to cheek, taking care of the scratches on her cheek and nose. "I'm fine, just gotta take a break. Just a bit woozy." She hopped up onto the bed with Kaz, sitting in front of him. Kaz held out his hand, "Here." She looked at him and nodded as she closed her eyes, concentrating on his soul energy before she began to siphon a bit from him to replenish herself.
As Amp wasn't paying attention, she didn't see what the healing woman had asked, and didn't reply. Rather then translate, Vibe sat up, and glanced over at her, shaking her head. Then she looked away again. She wasn't in a 'talkative' mood at the moment, so she simply listened from her corner. She did turn to watch as Isabel was healed, but she wasn't really paying attention. However a grin did tug at her mouth when the healer asked about making a dog mad. If only she'd seen the 'dog'....
Amp meanwhile was concentrating on Abyss's and Kaz's discussion. She thanked the healer once she could move her foot again, then turned her attention back to the men. Eventually she scoffed.
"I don't know what y'all are worried about. They've been trying to pass that bill for years. If they do finally get it passed, they still have to enforce it. It'll be like that stupid seatbelt law. It's too much of a headache to enforce properly. They'll give it up evenutally."

Kaz listened to Amp and shrugged. He noticed the look Vibe gave her. Usually the two of them were on the same page on...everything, though it seemed Vibe might have a different thought in her head. "You alright there Vibe?" Kaz spoke, though the volume of his voice was softer than a whisper to the point even Lyn wouldn't be able to hear him. Looking at Abyss, Kaz nodded slightly. "Yeah...I'm alright. Lyn.."
Lyn cut him off, "I was feeling a bit drained so Kaz let me replenish myself a bit." She shrugged and flipped her hair back, moving it away from her face. "I use my own life, soul energy, whatever you want to call it," she waved her hand in the air dismissing the point, "To heal, so I get drained. Kaz gave me some of his."
Kaz nodded to Abyss. "I'm inclined to agree with you. Though, I think we should sit back and wait for a bit. To see what happens."

" Either way, it makes sense to get prepared for the worst. something has me paying attention this time around. I won't be held captive, once they register us it'll only get worse from there. We have others to think of as well, Maybe we could organize, before they get it done. maybe the threat will be enough to unite us."
The expression that crossed Amp's face was as if someone had shoved a dirty diaper under her nose. "Us team up with the Xdweebs?? I'd rather give up shopping for a year..."
"Anybody have any preemptive ideas?"
While the others talked, Vibe's mind was wandering. She heard Kaz's inquiry, and glanced over at him. She merely shrugged.
