The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Blunderbore thundered through the sewers, making his way into a forbidden area of the Morlock Tunnes. Essentually this area was forbidden because the most dangerous and evil Morlocks lived in this area. Only a few days ago, Blunderbore managed to force his way in and secure a place of his own. He had yet to meet and "leaders" of the Morlocks, and he could care less if he was not welcome. His "home", was actually a large open space joining a few tunnels (see my sig). So far, no Morlocks have ventured here since he claimed this space. Furious at botching his chance for some revenge, Blunderbore began repeatedly slamming his giant clay fists against a wall in his "home", the sound echoing for miles withing the tunnels, but barely noticeable above-ground.

Blunderbore tossed the frightened Hairpin into a makeshift cage withing his dwelling. He growled at the little girl. "Now I gotta decide just how you're gonna die!" she roared to the girl.
Hairpin sat in the cage, tears streaming down her face. She was too terrified to attempt to call out to Mike, and without use of her powers, she was defenseless.

Blunderbore began battering the helpless girl with clay, smacking her side to side within the cage. He delighted in tormenting this child, and he felt he'd make sure she payed for the 20 years of torment he went through.
Hairpin was terrified, and unable to defend herself. She was smacked side to side within the cage. One of the stronger smacks resulted in her head hitting the cage, knocking the girl unconscious. Immediately, the third eye returned with a flash of blue light. It glared at Blunderbore, and the cage burst apart.

"What the...?!" the monster bellowed, seeing the third eye appear. Pieces of the cage flew into his clay body, and he promptly pulled them out and tossed them to the side.
Blunderbore floated into the air, wavering only slightly. He was then thrust backwards into the wall of the cave. The incredible raw power of Hairpin's eyes showed expertise and control comparable to Magneto, as it was essentually power incarnate.

Blunderbore was thrown into the wall with such force that the steel of the sewer wall emitted spiderweb cracks. The clay beast landed on his feet, and charged at the girl. "GRAAAAAAAH!" growled the giant clay freak as he charged.
The eye had again nearly drained itself of power. Rather than continuing the fight, it floated Hairpin into the air, and she zoomed through the tunnels out into the night sky.

Blunderbore roared once again. His prey had escaped. 'NOOOOOOOOOOO!" he bellowed. He begane insanely smashing his clay arms against the walls of the sewer, frustrated. The noise could be heard allthroughout the Morlock tunnels.
