The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Rounding a corner and throttling up he was now in what seemed to be an old factory. The place looked abandoned. However the equipment was still there, all bolted to the floor and everything. This would be the perfect hiding spot for him for a while. It reminded him of the warehouse his father had taken him that fateful day when he first began to work for his father. He at first rode around the factory a bit to find a suitable entrance but more so to make sure that noone had been in the place for some time. Liking the fact that it was right at an old part of the harbors edge he realized that the sound of ships coming in and out and machinery working just down the dock could mask whatevber noises he might make. Satisfied he guided the bike through a small opening in one of the big doors that had been left ajar from the last shipment recieved.
Using the bikes headlight he scouted around some until he found a ramp that lead up to another floor. Following these ramps he found a suitable sized room with no windows and several exits big enough to get the bike through if he needed. Nodding his head as if in approval he killed the engine and propped it up on its kick stand.
He pulled out of his pockets several small candles. Lighting these with the zippo he carried for the cigars he placed them strategically around the room so as to allow maximum lighting. He began to move things about in the room to allow for space for the bike and a place to sleep, and the like. This he found was relatively easy except for one thing. A large piece of machinery was bolted to the floor in the middle of the room. Knowing what had to be done he left the room and explored the factory for a bit first.
Finding a couch he started to pull this along the floors. He did not like the noise this made. Stopping and listening carefully he heard nothing. His mafia expirence and his animalistic instincts told him he was safe for now. He began to morph. This time it was his whole body. The pain reared its ugly head but luckily this time he was far enough into the transformation that the big Silverback Gorilla's pain tolerance was already in place. He grunted softly.
Now he was in full form. Using the big arm and hand he hefted the sofa easily and waddled back to his room. Placing the couch where he wanted it he turned his attention to the machinery that stood in his way. Wrapping the gorillas big fingers and arms around it he pushed hard. This thing wasnt moving even when shoved by an 800 pound gorilla. Ok so hed have to kick it up a notch then. As he re-morphed the gorrillas hands hit the floor with a thud. They flattened out and widened out. His nose pushed out and a gigantic horn erupted right in front of his eyes. His eye sight dulled significantly too. He wasnt a fan of bad eyesight, but he needed the power and the weight that the rhinocerous could put behind a strike.
Backing to the other side of the room he stareted forward at a trot. the two ton lumbering giant made a huge crashing noise as he uplifted the machine from its residence in the floor. He pushed it further and further. Using the biggest set of doors out of the room he managed to get it on a scafolding. He knew the scafolding wouldnt hold the weight for long. Giving one last nudge the machine toppled over the edge and thundered to its last home on the cement floor of the factory. Quickly morphing into a crow he flew up to the rafters and then re morphed into an owl. He used the owls night vision and its unique hearing abilities to make sure noone had heard the noises.
Heatring nothing he floating back into the room he alighted on the back of the couch and studied the room. He had always liked animal form better than human form. So there he stayed as an owl trying to think of other things he would need to live fairly comfortably in his new 'home'. Obviously he needed clothes and some sort of bed clothing to stay warm during the nights and through the winter. New York winters could some times be hell. Getting an idea he morphed back into a human and found his way to the nearest fire cabinet. Opening it he extracted the axe, the fire blanket which was thick and big. He unscrewed the hose from the spiget and folded it into a pillow. Laying these on the couch he nodded again and then spun throwing the axe toward the only wooden wall in the room. It impacted and stayed stuck in the wall. Deciding he was hungry for something to sink his teeth into he decided he would chance going out and buying some food. As an after thought he hid all but ten bucks away in the room before hopping back onto the bike and riding out into the streets........
He returned shortly with a small bag in his hands. Sitting upon the couch he unwrapped one of the two grinders and bit into it with ravenous teeth. Out from his pocket he extracted three bags of cookies and two bottles of soda which he had carefully laden his pockets with when the grinder guy was busy getting more meat from the back. Opening one he stuffed his mouth with a chunk of a chocolate chip. Now he took a swig from the soda bottle. Belching loudly he picked his teeth with an eagle talon that had seemingly grown out of his finger. The talon retreated back into his finger as he took another bite of the grinder. Chomping away loudly he finally finished it.
Tossing the paper wrapper in a small pail he would later use to make a fire, he stuffed the last of the cookies from the first bag into his mouth and downed the last of the soda. Opening a cabinet on the wall he looked inside with the help of a candle and poked around. Not much in it, but the inside of the door was a mirror. Using it he untied his hair and let it fall around his neck and shoulders and mid back again. He shook his head and smiled. He was very very fond of his hair. It was naturally jet black, but had that dark blue tint to it that made it so special. He needed to find a place to bathe. Thinking he was out of luck in that department, he decided to explore the factory moreso. Flying around the factory using the owl form he put together an idea of the factories layout. Whatever they had made here was going to facilitate him nicely. Discovering a small corridor he floated down it peering through the darkness with those big owl eyes.
At the end he discovered a series of toilets and shower stalls. Using his days as a mobster when he had to get points across to people by making their life uncomfortable, he traced the waterlines outside. Smiling he found the wheel that fed the pipes he wanted. It was rusted shut. "Damn!" he cursed. Shrugging he looked around and again morphed into the Silverback Gorilla. Using its great strength he was able to break it free. Twisting it all the way open, he dropped out of gorilla form and back into Owl form. Retracing his flight he transformed into a human to try the shower knobs. The first knob turned but nothing came out. He made his way down the line until he found one that did work.
Damning the fact that there was no warm water only cold he was inclined to take very fast showers. Without soap however there was no point. Mentally adding soap to the list of things to get when he next went out he shut it off and walked off back to the main floor. As he rounded one corner he noted an old microwave. Doubting that too worked, he twisted the knob. He was right. Hed have to eat cold food too unless he wanted to go out once or twice a day to buy food. That was expensive, and he knew he could make decent food with a camping stove and some bare essentials. If he really wanted to splurge he could buy a small lantern too. Thinking he would, he began to look for something to put on his back to carry the lantern, the camping stove and other such things he would buy. He eventually found a very old, moldy duffel bag. It appeared study, so he wiped it off and slung it over his shoulder. Straddling the bike once more he slowly idled out onto the streets once again.
He arrived shortly and began to work his way up the ramps. He was not good at riding a bike but he didn’t have to be because his instincts told him what to do mostly. He parked the bike in its spot and dropped the huge bag onto the couch. He began to unpack everything. Several knives he stuck in his waist band and in his new boots as he slid them on. He put on some of the new clothes he bought and felt a little better. He slid his special morphing clothes under a cushion of the couch. He used the electrical tape and taped many blades to strategic places around the room.
The axe he stuck under the couch and the camping stove and lantern and propane tank he stuck in a corner and threw the duffel bag on top of them to conceal these things. He still had a pile of things left on the couch to take care of and put away but at least if he had to leave quick everything looked as it did when he found it, minus the machinery which was on the floor downstairs. Morphing into his preferred raven he began to carry knives to the ceiling and stash them in the rafters and support beams just in case there too.
He flew down to the ground when he was done and pulled back on his clothes. He had to get naked if he was wearing regular clothes to morph, unless they were very tight clothes, which these weren’t. He re-dressed and unpacked the soap and razors he’d bought from the survival store. He hid these too. His goal here was to exist here without looking like he existed here. Finally after everything was said and done he sat down and unwrapped the second grinder he had bought earlier in the morning. It still tasted fine to him even though it was cold so he didn’t care.
He retrieved the packet of cookies too and had himself some supper. Knowing he didn’t buy drink because he had running water and he didn’t have room in the bag he decided he was fine with the second bottle of soda anyway. He unpacked the lantern and lit it with his Zippo and it cast a warm glow about the place. He nodded to himself again and decided it was time to call it a night. He’d go get more things tomorrow if he needed to. He pulled the sleeping bag out from under the cushions and propped the pillow on the hand rest and climbed in after stripping. He always slept naked in case he had to morph quickly. Reaching out he distinguished the lantern and put it behind the couch and as he rested his head he could feel sleeps grasp on his eyelids and he slid off into the musty, yet somewhat safe haven of slumber.

Phantom was folowing the man on bike closly and had folowed him to a what apeared to be a run down factory him pearing through his mask looking for a sign of life or a entrance somewhere
But remaining in the shadows and in his shadow form
Cage awoke as he sensed someone out there lurking in the shadows. He awoke and blew out the candles. Morphing into an owl he flew out the roof of the building and glided to a wire just above the person who seemed to create all this shadows. Cage laughed inside. He watched the man stare steadily atevery entrance he could see. The man hadnt seen him. He enjoyed the feeling of power. Here he was about sixyards directly above the mans head and this guy was clueless. Shaking his owl headhe took flight silently again. This time he went back to his room and gathered the few weapons he haround him and put hid themas well. Next he put on his morphing clothes. He then hid everything where noone would find them. He remorphed into his typical Raven and slipped out the opposite wall that the stranger was watching
