Orion had been giving her some space lately because he knew she messed up. Oh sure they talked and visited but mostly he spent his days searching the city for Ire anc Chaos. Early that morning he had left the Cave with his chopper. After quite some travel time and little luck he headed towards the Mansion. He figured hed make some lunch and have a few drinks. Hed need them.

Orions chopper chugged roughly backinto the Cave. He hit the kill switch and remained on the bike for some time. He was lost in thought. His mind moved along at a swift but comfortable pace. His face shown of nothingness. His movements were not smooth and calculated. They had the air of a man who just didnt care about what he was doing at the moment. Clumsily he knocked his helmet off the bike when he got off. He looked at it, then turned and walked away. He tossed the keys on the counter that ran along the walls of the Cave serving as work space with barely a flick of his wrist. They landed and slid along the counter for a moment and came to rest all jumbled up and barely hanging onto the edge. If one took a quick look around the Cave Garage one would take note that evberything was in its place and easily accessible and neat and tidy. Almost in military fashion. Except for two small things that seemed so out of place it was like trying to put an infant to sleep while at the fourth of July celebrations. A motorcycle helmet rested upside down on the ground, the straps just lying there. The second thing was one set of jumbled up keys dangling off the edge of the counter. Orion made his way intoi the Living Quarters.

Orion's bike rolled slowly to the cave garage entrance. He stopped the bike and his foot extended the kickstand. Leaning the bike to the left he dismounted and walked slowly up to the cave walls. He closed his eyes and brought his right hand up to the wall. His eyes slowly turned blood red and wisps of smoke began to seep from them. His hand began to to smoke, and suddenly the cave walls began to shudder and disapear into itself. Shortly the whole entrance was re-opened once again. The fading fall sunlightcast its warm glow on everything inside the cave. Orions eyes flitted over his few prize posessions. The big dodge diesel truck stood quiet and monstrous in the waning light. The charger sat low and undisturbed since he last keyed the roaring monster that stuck out from the hood. The street bike in the corner facing him, as if to say. 'Where have you been?'. The expirimental bike still lurked in its special nook. The Viper, low and sleek sat still but looked as if it were moving at incredible speeds. Orion looked at his chopper outside and then back inside, and noticed how dusty everything was inside the cave. He smiled and thought of the fun it would be to get all his toys up and running in perfect condition again. For now though he re mounted the chopper and lightly gunned the engine and expertly guided her back into her long abandoned spot next to the street bike. Shutting it down he got up and made his way to the spot where he had sealed up the entrance to the living quarters. Again he used chaos to open the chamber. Once done he walked into the living area and just stood looking around taking in everything that had happened here in the past. Curiosity took him down the hall to his bedroom and he again opened the way to it. He smiled when he saw the bed that Tricity had made him put in there. He had been using a slab of flat rock with animal furs for covers....but that wouldnt do, when Tricity came for visits. His smile widened at the thought of her. Hed been gone for for so long that he wondered if shed moved on. He wondered if she'd had the baby and he was excited to meet his son or daughter for the first time. Part of him hoped the baby would be a big strapping boy like him but the other part would love to have a beautiful little girl. Now he moved on to his "armory room" as he called it. Openeing that chamber as well he stood back and observed what appeared to be an empty room. Obviously he knew better. He meandered over to the west wall and set his smoking hand on it too. The walls disappeared and his weaponry was showing in the fading light. Orions didnt like guns so mostly your find blades of all kinds there. One spot in the center stood empty. It was obvious that something of great importance was there at one point. Orion reached up under his open leathers and undid the buckle of the strap that crossed his chest. He reached behind his back and caught the Harbringers Judgement Blade as it slid from its sheath. Thi sword had more blood on it that Orion wanted to admit but it also saved his life more than he cared to think about. He hung the sword in its appropriate place and tucked the sheath back with the others out of sight. As Orion turned to walk away he couldnt help but noticed how the Dragon's Breath Blade glinted happily while all the others dully shined. Now he made his way to the living quarters again. There was some wood left by the fireplace. He used his zippo and started a small fire which would given a few minutes grow into a large enough fire to keep out the fall cold of the night. Orions stomach rumbled and he nodded his head as if it had talked to him. He walked toward the wall where once an entrance to the woods had been. before openeing it he pulled his hunting bow off the wall and set it on his back. Opening to the outside he strode into the woods in search of some meat. After some walking he discovered some wild potatoes. After digging up a few he continued about his way. Light was fading fast now and he knew he would be less likly to find meat in the dark. So he climbed a tree and sat perched on a branch waiting for his dinner to come around.....Just as he was about to give up the brush rustled right beneath his feet and out hopped a rabbit. Orion slowly notched an arrow into his bow and drew the string back. In the back of his mind he wondered how bad his aim was. It had been a while since he shot a bow. His fingers twitched and the arrow flew straight and true. But Orion's aim was a little off. The arrow only went through the rabbits hind leg. But he had dinner. He jumped from the tree and scooped up dinner and headed back to the cave. Once there he went to the stream that ran through the cave, and using his knife he skinned and gutted the rabbit there, letting the water wash it all away save the skin and the meat. Now he was cooking dinner the rabbit was roasting over the fire and the potatoes were cooking on a stone over the red hot coals. Orion could feel finally how tired he was. He knew he was dirty and sweaty, so he planned on bathing after he ate. By now the food was done and he began to cut the meat and potatoes, chewing them, and savoring the taste of a well earned meal. Leaning back in his stone chair he nibbled the meat off the bones and bit into what was left of the potatoes. soon as the fire was dying and his hunger fulfilled he drifted off to sleep.
