Personality:

Yoshiie tends to be calm, emotionless, and silent. His capacity to suppress his emotions enables him to make difficult decisions in an apathetic manner, although he may regret them in the future. It appears that he doesn't struggle with the decision. He has been shown to speak calmly to a victim until the moment when he pulls the trigger. The emotional backlash does not come crashing down until a little later. He essentially portrays the characteristic 'dead inside' appearance, exhibiting no extreme emotions such as anger. Yoshiie exerts minimal effort to manage those in their vicinity. He prefers to do things himself and avoids using partners in any significant way. Yoshiie's default reaction to questions about his behavior is to ignore them, rather than impress upon them the value of his actions. He also makes minimal effort to assert himself, despite his disagreements with colleagues. He rationalizes away the significance of honor and ideals, asserting that war is simple and nobility on the battlefield is merely an illusion. Yoshiie has shown to have great awareness and despite what he appears to others has shown to have a great mind when it comes to leading people and helping the younger generation. He also has shown to work very well with others and cares for his friends and family and would do anything to help them that also including putting himself in harm to keep them safe. Yoshiie is witty and analytic and is able to determine the best approach to either defeat an opponent or how to sync with people he is working to get the best result he can get to end the situation the best possible.

Martial arts: Yoshiie is a highly skilled martial artist, capable of engaging armed and unarmed enemies in hand-to-hand combat and coming out victorious. He is also capable of disarming trained and armed soldiers and quickly rendering them unconscious with minimal effort. His fighting style encompasses Kickboxing, Panantukan, Krav Maga, Eskrima, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ninjitsu, Karate, Boxing, Pencak Silat, Wing Chun, Judo, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and Jeet Kune Do. He is also adept at using whatever is available and using his environment to his advantage in combat.

Master Tactician: Yoshiie is a highly trained tactician with excellent situational awareness. He is also proficient in devising and executing strategies for a variety of missions and possesses a keen understanding of his adversaries and effectively exploiting their weaknesses and strategies to defeat them.

Mutations

Mutation description: 

Midnight reset 

Yoshiie's mutant power is a combo of mutation and emitter type that syncs him to an atomic clock that makes him no matter where he is or what his situation is (death, poisoned, bleeding out, or even if under the influence of another effect, etc.), his power currently automatically will trigger at midnight. Once it triggers, it resets Yoshiie physically, mentally, and spiritually back to when he first turned twenty years old and at optimum health (in perfect health for a person of his age). This also resets his memories to that age, though he does retain the memories he had up to the age of twenty. He has to go through the same introductions, relearn the same stuff about the same people/organizations, and potentially even keep a file of people he's met that he has to spend time reading every morning to make sense of his life. Yoshiie's power does allow him to retain skills he had learned like any person he has to put the skills to use or slowly fade and have to be relearned. The power triggers every time it hits midnight automatically, even if he does not wish it. This works because Yoshiie's quirk synced him to his newly turned twenty-year-old self, and at midnight he will be automatically restored to that point. this causes his current self to vanish complete and be replaced   with nothing but his body making him nude. The power will shunt him to safe spot as close as possible to his body where he can get dressed and reequip any equipment he might have had on his old body.

Weaknesses and Limitations:

- Yoshiie does not choose what is reset, everything is reset

- The time of reset is fixed, he can't change it

- Yoshiie reset power does not provide any mechanical benefits outside of the midnight reset.

- Has to be either be filled in or read it from some source or he will be lost and still think it is 1889

History Of Your Character

Yoshiie was born to his parents, with his father being a sugarcane plantation worker and his mother a native Hawaiian, who was appointed noble that's part of the Legislative Assembly of the former kingdom of Hawaii. He was born on December twenty-third, 1869 weighing in at ten pounds nine ounces as a happy newborn. He came into the world around the later years of the House of Kamehameha and saw many changes due to two groups of outsiders working and spreading their work and beliefs on the island. Furthermore, he was having a normal, happy life for a kid his age who has a plantation parent. His life changed when he hit puberty besides the awkwardness and challenges a kid his age has to go through, he also learned he was able to reset people from injuries illness, and the like at the cost of their memories and make them return to his current age. He tried to keep it a secret, only using it if he got hurt or if needed by his friends his age.[He grew older, but life not perfect, but he had friends to hung out with his friends, and his love interest, and had a good life for a young person. When his father thought he was old enough, his father had him would help on a sugar plantation in hopes to teach his son responsibility and benefits of working. Yoshiie when he was not playing on flirting with a girl he liked would go practice out of sight in the forest on injured animals he found there. He spent his teenage years learning and helping his father, doing more and more labor with him on the plantation. Furthermore, when he was eighteen years old, he was affected by the rebellion that followed many years which led to the Merrie Monarch of Hawaii losing power of the throne after being forced to agree to it which stopped himself and his father from having rights such as voting and being treated as second class citizens.

At the age of nineteen a few minutes before midnight while training his power it then hit midnight and his power  had fully matured to its true power. This left him a blank as he had no memories other than what he had as a twenty-year-old.  He knew from this  that he no longer could use power as he wished, but only on himself, as it seemed to be automatic now. After a while and a few resets and living on being told by others told him to live and relearned what year and what happened in his life and around him.  He would not be able to remember his family or anything, so he decided to move to another town and work for another plantation. Furthermore, he worked at many plantations and made enough money to live and spend as he needed. He found love and even got to start a family and had to be told about his life every day, luckily he found a good girl who was willing to do this every day. His life unfortunately due to the people in control of the government had racist views and as such he was viewed not in a good light. As always, he worked as a travelling plantation worker, offering plantations his work for a day and then afterward moving on to the next one. He would do that for a while, even working for Dole, a man behind the overthrow of the true government. He worked, doing work on a pineapple plantation for a few years, and kept to himself. Yoshi loved his girlfriend so much that one day he surprised her  and would prose to her.  He would be happy after his girlfriend and would be accepted as he supported her becoming a nurse and supported him even with his memory issue. Also, he did this for many years even going to look at his family which included his fiancée, and his children. He was sent by his future wife letters to kept informed of his life as she was aware of his situation.

Additionally, he did this for a while, enough that he witnessed Hawaii becoming a republic then a territory, then joining as a state of the invaders.  He as every other person in Hawaii became American citizens and did as he always has, that is he continued to travel and work as a migrating plantation worker but avoided the same areas and eventually would make his way to the mainland of the USA with his family. He's looking for work  and ended up finding it as a store clerk in an Asian store owned by a couple that's of mixed Asian descent that were nice to him. Yoshiie worked many years at the store throughout the Great War, though it was tough, and barely able to feed his wife and himself due to the depression.  He proudly supported his son, who would later join both great wars and went on to finish both wars with a medal of honors. He spent the time helping his son's wife with his wife during her pregnancy and spending time with and watching his grandson grow up and not worrying about having a way to explain why he looked like he was twenty other than just lucky to have a youthful appearance, which somehow worked. Yoshiie spent some time with his family and grandkids before he figured a way through a journal that had noted various details he needed to know that he could read and joined and fought in the Korean War in 1950 for three years before being deployed to the front of the Vietnam Wars and fought from 1953 to the end of the US involvement in 1973. He suffered from all he has seen during the war and once he was giving his honorable discharge, his wife, friends and family insisted that he got therapy for all he has seen in his long military career.

Yoshiie did a few years of therapy and when he was not in therapy or working he would start taking a course to become a security guard, but he also started fighting crime as a vigilante.  When he was not working or doing his course to become a security guard, he was either working, spending time with his family or fighting crime.  Yoshiie meet the one sorrowful thing, he was not prepared for the effects of time on others, and to his horror as he did so that he had to deal with the pain of watching those most important to him slowly age and die on him. He  would do to prevent the great pain and to protect himself from heartbreak and sorrow it caused decided that it would be best to leave out the information of his great grandkids to avoid the pain and sorrow of watching them fall to one thing he cannot defeat the flow of time as it's the one thing he does not have a way of preventing this situation from happening.

Sample RP:

After Yoshiee awoken from his sleep and completed his daily intense military exercise regime. He would go and take his usually after workout shower.  After the shower noticed the clock and curse to himself as he did not mange his time normally as he noticed time and cursed again as he was late. After making a very quick peanut butter sandwich, he would then run out to get to the bus stop to get to the shopping center he was assigned to do guard duty for. Yoshiie  was hoping that he was not late, as Mr. Burns was a nice man, but if the client complained too much it would have been a hassle for him to find another placement to work. He then ran and just made it to catch the very crowded bus, where he heard his phone ring and went to hit the button and had somehow got to hit the button. 

He answered it, even it very hard due to the bus being the very crowded.  He had replied to the person on the phone, “Hello” he had said to the person on the phone and then heard the other person on the other side. It seemed he had been his boss and listened to what he had to say before thinking on the matter that he brought up about the possibility of covering for another guard that called in sick today. He listened to his boss and thought on it before letting out a little sigh due to the fact he had planned to go on patrol and handle criminals.  He then thought to himself well that won't happen now before replying to him  “I have nothing planned, and I will, I take it, so text me the location and go there asap after my shift” he had said to him. Furthermore, he then hit the button and hung up and looked at the text and sighed as it was on the other side of town.

He grumbled a little as it going to be tough, but he hoped nothing too much happen at work. Furthermore, he hoped it was nothing but the odd drug user stealing and having to stop them and escort them to the security room, so the police then could handle them. Yoshiie after completing his shift with nothing too exciting happening and then had run and caught the train to get across the city to his next location, which was a lab. He then stopped and spoke to the front desk, “hello I am Yoshiie with black diamond security I am here as a replacement for Dante.” he said to the receptionist and logged in and completed all the security things he needed to do before getting a card and got shown around by Alan the guard from the previous shift.  He was shown by Alan the routine and patrol route for the job. 

Furthermore, he spent the shift patrolling the area Alan had told him he had to do, and it was looking to be a rather normal, boring shift until an explosion as a group of thugs broke in. He used his knowledge and skills and slowly gather intel on time. When the thugs were sent out to do a search, he took advantage before picking off a few and taking their weapons before facing the others. He had then held out till the police arrived before it got too dangerous, and as soon as the thugs heard the sirens of the police, the thugs had run off. Furthermore, he then had the great had the displeasure of explaining what had happened and reporting to the police all he knew, which was going to take a little longer. Also, he had reported and answered questions to the police and then the head of security for the lab.

YoshIie had then written in his journal what had happened and then relaxed a little before showering and watching some YouTube.  As he watched his smart TV, he had come under the effect of his mutation, and the body would vanish and find himself near where his body was nude. He had then quickly put on the clothing he had on before his power activated, not remembering what happened the previous day.

Nice to see your finished app! I'm Westsylvania (also known as Zek on Discord) and I'll be working with you on your app.

Overall it looks pretty good, I just have a few notes, mostly about the power.

1. In the personality section, it looks like the second half is a copy-paste of the first half. Might as well go ahead and delete the redundant part.

2. Just to prevent confusion, a note in the age section about having the physical strength and appearance of a 20 year old would be helpful.

3. We like seeing well-rounded characters that have strengths but also room for growth. As part of that, I would like to see you come up with a few phobias/fears/concerns for Yoshiie. They can be physical, existential, revolving around other people, or other kinds.

4. Regarding the power section, some aspects of the reset power are a little unclear to me. Does Yoshiie reset his memories or does he not? It seems as though he doesn't actually lose anything he's ever learned, or knowledge of people he's met, only how/when he learned/met them. That's 150+ years of remembering basically every skill and ability he's ever picked up. Does he have to keep brushing up on his knowledge?

5. If Yoshiie's body resets itself every night, how exactly would he be able to be at peak physical capacity for a human? Was he the equivalent of an Olympic athlete in every sport at 20 years old in 1889?

6. I'm not clear what you mean about the following line: "He learned that he is able to apply this to a target as a one-time effect and follows how it affects him." Yoshiie can give another person the benefits of his reset power? What do they reset to? When they were twenty? The day before? What memories do they lose? With all the elements currently comprising the midnight reset power, this might be best saved for a power-growth down the line. Being able to potentially resurrect someone from the dead is really huge, in addition to being deathless oneself.

7. For the energy independence ability, it's not bad on it's own, but it's not really connected to the midnight reset ability and honestly, its powerful enough that it would be an entire power for a character. So pick one of the two powers. I'd recommend dropping energy independence, since technically the midnight reset power would already allow Yoshiie to never have to eat or sleep, as long as he doesn't mind spending most of the day hungry or tired, and so you could use that as an additional weakness to the reset power. Immortality at the cost of comfort, basically.

8. The last part of your sample RP makes it seem that the midnight reset also teleports Yoshiie. He vanishes and reappears nearby, but also naked? What happened to his clothes? What are the rules for this teleporting?

9. In the history, it says Yoshiie gained his midnight reset power during puberty, but the power description says it's synced to his body at 20 years old. What did it reset to in the years before that? Or did he really only get his mutation at 20 years old? The history seems to suggest it synced people to his current age. So...a 75 year old would suddenly become whatever age Yoshiie was at the time?

10. As for the RP sample, we use the past tense for our writing on the sight. Please alter it accordingly.
