Yep, home was exactly where Tarin wanted to be.
Lee brought her hand to his cheek and Tarin leaned into it, returning her kiss before sighing a bit.
”Let me send a few texts and then we can head out.” Tarin said.
Lee pointed out that they could find a romantic movie and disgust Kevin into leaving the room and Tarin had to laugh.
”Or hold hands, or hug, or god forbid kiss…” Tarin said with a small smile. All of those things were gross and varying degrees of horrifying for the teen and he tended to vacate the room as quickly as possible in the event that they happened.
”Though…he’s going on his trip soon, maybe we could compromise.”

”Of course,” Lee said softly, marvelling at just how much easier it was to cancel a day’s appointments than it had previously been.
All the better since that meant they’d be able to leave and get home quicker.
But then Tarin gave a couple of his own ideas of how to ensure tehy had the living room to themselves, and Lee couldn’t help but laugh slightly. ”Those do sound much more enjoyable.
“Though, how about a compromise on the compromise? One movie with the room to ourselves, but then if Kevin decides to come out we don’t intentionally gross him out.” Kevin was leaving very soon for his trip, so Lee definitely did want to spend a lot more time with her son first, especially as it wouldn't be that long after he was back that he would be heading to the mansion.
But after that morning, especially this most recent part, Lee was going to need time to get back to herself so that she wouldn't have to lie to Kevin about what was wrong.

”It’s a deal…” Tarin said when Lee suggested a compromise to the compromise. It would be nice to have a bit more time to reset and get back to normal.
Very reluctantly removing his arms from around Lee, Tarin reached into his pocket to pull out his cell phone and start making those texts.
The app he used to keep track of appointments allowed him to send batch texts so it was just a few taps and a quick message was sent to everyone who’d had an appointment and they’d be able to reschedule at a later date.
”Let’s get out of here…”
