The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Character's real name: Alan Haddix Codename/Alias: Pit bull Gender: Male Age: 27 Nationality/Ethnicity: Irish/American Birthplace: Boston, MA
Personality: Alan isn't too hard to get along with, as long as you make a good first impression. He tends to judge people largely based on past experiences with them, and this causes him hardships in making new friends sometimes. Based on several childhood experiences, Alec also tends to keep most people at arms' length, only having very few close friends. This doesn't so much mean that he is closed off towards people in general; it is more an indication that he prefers shallow conversation. Growing up in a city like Boston, Alan has grown used to urban settings and therefore feels uncomfortable in wide open spaces. His hobbies include playing card games of any kind, mixed-martial arts, and parkour.
Allegiance: neutral.
Everyday clothing: Alan can usually be seen wearing dark blue jeans, a plain white shirt, a red hoodie, a bomber jacket, and a black-on-white Boston Red Sox hat. He usually wears steel-toed boots.
Hair color and style:Alan has brown hair which is buzzed close to his head. he also has a soul patch. Eye color: Alan's eyes are green. Height: 5'10" Build: Stout, rather muscular, but not super-ripped.
Scars: Alan has a large scar starting behind his left ear and tracing his neck, skipping over his Carotid Artery and Adam's apple.
Tattoos: Alan has several tattoos, including a portrait of Marilyn Monroe on his left pectoral, a tribal half-sleeve on his right upper arm, and an Ouroboros arm band on his left bicep. Piercings: Alan has no piercings.
Abilities: Enhancement of potential energy. Alan has what amounts to a never-ending source of potential energy in his body. This allows him to respond to things much faster, pack his punches with a little extra sauce, and allows him to remain active indefinitely without tiring. Furthermore, he has relatively small, spinous extensions of his knuckles and on his forearms, a mutation of his skeletal structure, which break the skin and cannot be retracted. He often covers these with clothing.
Cons of Abilities: Due to his enhanced Potential Energy, Alan doesn't sleep. Ever. This causes him to lose track of time easily, making it harder for him to do things like keep dates, as well as toying with his memory at times. Also, the inability to retract the processes on his knuckles and forearms causes him to always wear gloves and long sleeves.
Fighting style (if any): Alan practices Jeet Kun Do.
History of your character: Alan Haddix was born to a poor Irish American family in south Boston, Massachusetts. He led a relatively normal life until he was 16. When he was 16, he was in a car accident that should by all rights have killed him. He was ejected through the windshield and thrown to the street a bloody mess. To the Paramedic's surprise, Alan was actually conscious and walking around at the scene when they arrived. He was in pretty bad shape though, and was rushed to the ER, where he stayed overnight. This was how Alan discovered his genetic mutation beyond the bony extensions of his arms. For a few weeks after the accident, his parents blamed his Insomnia on the car crash. But after a year, they realized what caused the condition.
Alan wasted no time putting his abilities to work for him. He spent a year after his graduation studying tapes of master fighters, from Muhammad Ali to Bruce Lee, to Royce Gracie, as well as taking lessons in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He eventually moved out of the Southie Projects to Queens, where he wasn't known as well. He began participating in unlicensed fights, appearing on several amateur boxing under cards and MMA fights, although he was never able to go professional, due to the sanctions placed on mutants for fights.
