Personality: Growing up, Julian was known as a bit of a rebel. Picking on kids, skipping class, and smoking in the bathroom where everyday activities for him. However, recent events (see history) have dramatically changed him. He is quiet, shy, and very introverted. He is slowly coming out of his shell and trying to become a better person.
Notes (Hobbies, Phobias, Worries, etc.): Likes- reading, relaxing, listening to music, guitar. Dislikes- large crowds, overly talkative people. Phobias- cars.

Allegiance (Good, Bad, or Neutral): Neutral (prospective X-Man)

Everyday clothing: He never goes anywhere without his trademark Buddy Holly thick rim glasses. He usually just wears a dark pair of jeans, black Chucks, any t-shirt and his long black hooded coat.

Uniform (Optional. Required if eventually becoming part of the X-Men): Standard black leather X-Men suit with light grey trim, Light grey gloves and boots, and his long, black hooded coat.
Pajamas: Whatever underwear he was wearing that day.

Hair color and style:Jet black that comes down mid-neck. Always wears it down, pulled behind his ears.
Eye color:Icy blue
Height: 5'10'’
Build: Being a gymnast for 7 years, Julian has a smaller but very toned body. Not overly muscular, but he has a six pack and pecs from his workouts.
Scars: Several small to medium scars common in teenage boys.
Tattoos: One just beside his right hip bone. The Gemini symbol with XIII inside it.
Piercings: Both ears, his left cartilage, and his right eyebrow.

Description of ability(ies): Julian has the ability to transform his body into that of a living ghost. In this ghostly form, Julian’s body and clothes become weightless, turn a smokey grey color and become slightly translucent. While in this form, Julian has access to several abilities:

Body Control: Over the years, Julian has learned to control the physical nature of his Wraith like form. He can phase his body out of synch with the world, allowing him to pass through objects. He can also increase the transparency of his Wraith form, allowing him to become invisible. He can also grant his Wraith form to other people/objects he is touching.

Telekinesis: Julian’s Wraith form also grants him the ability of Telekinesis. Though it is not incredibly strong, his is able to lift about as much as his own body weight. He mainly uses this to lift his weightless Wraith from for flight. He also uses it offensively by hurling objects around and such.

Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies): He only has access to his powers while he is in his Wraith form. This prevents him from using his powers in public, less he run the risk of being exposed. Also, though out of synch while in his wraith form, the more objects he passes through (walls, projectiles, attacking people), the more energy he uses up. If he is attacked enough while in his Wraith form, he will lose his energy, revert to normal, and most likely pass out. He also has poor eye sight.

Fighting style (if any): None. His years as a gymnast has made him very nimble. His “fighting style” is dodging other fighting styles.

History of your character: Julian Michaels grew up in a wealthy neighborhood just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. All through school, he was extremely popular, but a bit of a renegade. His group of friends caused most of the trouble the school encountered. After one particular lunch room brawl during his sophomore year, the principal couldn’t take any more and finally called Julian’s parents in for a conference. They suspended him for three weeks and told him that if he caused any more problems he would be expelled. As he and his parents walked back to the car to take him home, neither his mother or his father could look at him. He hated that silence. His father finally broke it, by yelling at Julian about the consequences of his actions. His father didn’t see the eighteen-wheeler coming. Just before the truck hit, Julian’s dormant x-gene was activated and his body phased out just in time to escape the collision. He landed on the ground several feet from the wreckage that his parents were still trapped in. He watched helplessly as the car exploded. The next year crawled by. He didn’t yet know how to control his abilities, and was stuck in his Wraith form. As far as anyone else knew, he had died in the crash along with his parents. He survived by sneaking into peoples houses, stealing food and sleeping in their basements. There he learned more about his abilities. He would move objects around and make moaning sounds to make people think their house was haunted. Over time he heard about a place safe for people like him, so he set off to find a place to call home.

Sample RP: Julian sat behind the radiator in the basement of his latest ‘haunt’. His stomach growled loudly, reminding him of the fact that he hadn’t eaten since yesterday morning. It was late in the evening, but he could still hear movement upstairs. Deciding he couldn’t wait any longer, he let the cold chill that came when shifting into his Wraith form envelop his body and he slowly rose to a hover above the floor. Another moment of concentration came and his body faded to invisibility. He moved upward through the ceiling and into the dining room. Peering around the corner, he saw the husband and wife sitting on the couch watching television. Knowing they would have to be out of the room for him to be able to snatch any food, Julian reached out with his mind and began to flicker the lights. “Not again!” the wife said with fear in her voice. Julian moved on and began throwing books around the room while moaning loudly. Soon, it was too much for the two to take and they ran upstairs to their room, most likely to cower under the covers, Julian thought to himself. He then glided into the kitchen, opened the fridge and removed the leftovers he found inside. With his treasure in hand, he sank back through the floor to his hiding place where he ate with much vigor.
