Personality: He is a very shy person. Often he finds himself alone to read a book or play the piano. Though he doesn’t make that much friends, he has a friendly personality. He is a bit of a day dreamer, sometimes found just staring out of the window doing so. When it is needed, he can be very serious about the situation.
(like martial arts training). He tends to find a peaceful way of solving problems but, has no problem in becoming violent. He fights for what he believes in and for his friends.

Notes (Hobbies, Phobias, Worries, ect.): He enjoys reading a good book and listening to all sorts of music. He likes to play the piano and make drawings. He is a bit afraid of getting to close to a person and making social contact. He also fears his powers a bit.

Everyday clothing: He usually wears a black tank top or shirt, with green, baggy pants that are tucked into his black, army boots. He wears bandage around his hands and lower arms for his powers. When he goes outside he wears a long, black leather coat with a hood to hide his face. He sometimes wears the coat around the house.
Uniform (Optional. Required if eventually becoming part of the X-Men): sleeveless x-men jacket. He wears baggy black pants tucked into his black army boots.

Description of ability(ies): He can build up energy into his body and use it to make blasts of energy. He can shoot his blast from anywhere on his body but, he mostly does it from his fist as he tends to go into close combat. This energy charge makes a red electric aura over his body and the blast tend to come out as a red, electrical shock. The blasts however don’t shock their opponent but makes some kind of small explosion on impact. When charging his energy his eyes turn red.
Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies): The weakness of his abilities are: When he discharges the energy from his body, it tends to wound him. Also people who come to close to him when he charges his “red electricity” it can hit that person and become volatile.

History of your character:
Born in L.A. , Malik was a normal happy child at home until his mother died. He took his mothers death very hard. He was always a bit of a shy and lonely child after that. He did not want to come close to people because he might get hurt. He took martial arts classes to deal with his grieve and became quite good at them. When he turned 16 he got into a fight with some kids from school. They bullied him allot because he didn’t have much friends and was a geek to them. That day was the final drop that spilled the bucket. Though he was outnumbered he hit one of them in a rage. As he was beaten by the other bullies, suddenly red shocks of electricity started coming from his arms, exploding on impact. The bullies where blown away against the walls. The principle saw what happened and suspended him from school. When his father found out what he did and what he was he kicked him out of the house, saying he didn’t want to get near a mutant. The master of the martial arts training center took him in after he heard what happened. He said that he might learn to master his new found ability through training. He changed his appearance and started training for 3 years until he was 19.Through sweat, blood and hard work, He harnessed a small part of his powers but the master said he taught him all he knew. He has been on the road ever since then, trying to learn more control over his volatile powers.

Sample RP:
It was a normal day in a local high school in L.A. Malik was walking down the hallway, wanting to store his books in his locker. As he opened his locker somebody immediately slammed in shut in his face. It was Derek and his crew, the local bullies. “Did we give you permission to be here, Dweed” Said Derek. One member of his crew started grinning. “Well my locker is right here, so I guess that is a no” Replied Malik with confidence. “This would be the last time they bully my around” he thought as he got angry with them. “How dare you talk back to me, worm” Said Derek as he took a fighting pose. He swung at Malik and hit him straight in the face. Malik took the blow and was still standing on his feet. Out of rage he swung and Derek with a precision blow that he learned from martial arts training, and knocked Derek out cold. The other bullies did like what they saw and all jumped Malik at the same time. He was knocked down on the floor and they started kicking him. The more the kicked him, the more he got mad with them and started concentrating not to feel the pain. He suddenly felt like there was a energy source inside of his body, filling him up. As he concentrated more on that feeling suddenly red electricity shot out his body and touched his opponents. On impact the “shocks” exploded and blasted his opponents back against the wall.
“What the hell is going on here” Said the principle as he rushed in. He saw the bullies lying unconscious against the walls. “You did this, Malik” Said the principle. “I don’t know what happened to me” Said Malik in a panic. “You… You are expelled” Said the principle with fear in his voice. Malik not knowing what happened picked up his books and ran home in fear.

As he came home, his father was on the phone with the principle. “He did what” Yelled his father. “I will deal with him”. Malik’s father looked furiously at him and started walking against. “I just heard that you happen to blow a few kids against the wall by just touching them” Yelled his father as he grabbed him and pinned him against the wall. Out of fear and anger he started getting that weird feeling again. A large red bolt of electricity ran from his chest into his father’s chest. A small explosion caused his father to let loose and be blown away against a wall. As he stood up he yelled: “Filthy mutant, get out of my house. I never want to see you again.” Blood streamed from Malik’s chest as he stood up. He ran to his room, grabbed his most prized possessions and put them into a bag. As he left he put his keys on the counter and slammed the door behind him.

He must have ran for hours until he went towards the martial arts training center where he took his lessons.
As he entered the training center he saw his teacher just about to leave. “What is the matter , Malik?” He asked. Malik explained what happened and his teacher listened very closely. “So you’re a mutant?” He asked as the story finished. “I guess I am” Said Malik. “No worries” Said his teacher with a smile. “You can stay here at the center and resume your training, It might even teach a thing or two about controlling those powers of yours. And so he stayed at the training center for 3 years. Training every day, trying to harness more of his powers.

ah thank you for the heads up on the resistence, i just wonder do you mean the sanctuary library because the labs don't have them. Ow and i wonder one more thing, if i join the resistence do i get pushed into a organisation (like the kabal, x-men or the order) because i wan't to keep my options open and fight the registration act at the same time.

2) Make sure to put a link to your character profile in your signature:

3) Where it says "rayne" Change it to Voltaire or Malik (Lostarot). This is just so we don't go "Who's Rayne?" and have a more difficult time linking that name to your character.
4) If you look through Mondragon Lab thread areas, you'll see where people have posted in a 'library' that they created. I'd suggest posting the 'library' using the Lab Halls thread.
5) If you join the resistance, you don't have to join a group. If you stay out of the resistance you still don't have to. In fact, you don't ever have to join a group if you don't want to.
6) Cbox is annoying. It'll crap out every so often without warning, or start messing up and just plane being annoying. If you're talking about the actual Chat option at the top of the page: it doesn't work for everyone, at least it hasn't, not sure why, but, that does seem to go down every so often. It's not used as much as the Cbox, so I don't know how often it has problems.

Hmm..interesting. Two new characters with energy powers. I must admit I like the explosive capabilities of your powers. You'd definatley make and interesting addition to the Order.

indulge me i should say. I keep a open mind about the groups i can join and i haven't fully decided yet. I will see where the story goes =)

Hmm, I'm just wondering something. Would your power affect shield? (If you don't know who that is, it's the guy that is entirely invincible, but electricity still hurts him) I'm not entirely clued up on how your powers work, and i was just wondering if it's only an explosion, or if there is some form of electric shock, even if it's only small compared to the whole exploding thing.

it's a shock that results into a explosion. so i guess it would affect him for the short period that "it" shocks him.
