Character
Personality: It's safe to say that Tahj likes being on his own. It isn't that he's antisocial or anything like that, but the twenty-four-year-old likes his space. It usually takes him some time to finally warm up people, but once he does, Tahj becomes extremely loyal and will defend his friends at any cost.
At times, he can become fussy, but that’s only because he’s concerned for someone’s safety. This is where his overprotective nature comes into play. Aside from this, Tahj is an empathetic person at times, but when he isn’t happy, he wants nothing to do with anyone or anything except for those very close to him. When it comes to finding a guy to date, he’s very cynical about love and believes that no matter what, whoever he’s with, will find something better and move on. Overall, Tahj is an amazing person who just wants to live his life and fight the good fight. He has a tendency to become absentminded and thus, he loses track of time and that can hinder him.
There is a mischievous side to him as well. He enjoys laying minor tricks on his friends and laughing with them.

Mutations
Mutation description:
Cloud Mimicry: Tahj has the mutant ability to consciously
transform his physical body into clouds. However, Tahj has the basic instinct to “cloud out” when in a life threatening situation.
Precipitation Generation: Additionally, while in his cloud form, Tahj has the power to generate precipitation in the form of rain, sleet, and snow.
Strengths: While in cloud form, Tahj can disperse his body in a way that allows him to more easily avoid being physically harmed. However, if electricity is involved, there’s a greater chance of him being seriously affected. He would immediately be knocked out of his cloud form and back into his human form.
Weaknesses and Limitations:
Cloud Mimicry: While in cloud form, Tahj can cover a radius of 2 miles. The amount of humidity in the air factors in how easy it is for him to do this along with producing precipitation. He can remain in cloud form for up to 30 minutes.
Precipitation Generation: Again, while in cloud form, Tahj can only produce, at max, six inches of precipitation. The more concentrated his cloud form is in the more intense the precipitation (i.e. rain will have a greater chance of falling like bullets in a 300 foot radius than in a mile one). Tahj can produce precipitation for up to 15 minutes. Tahj can only produce precipitation if he’s in cloud form.

History Of Your Character
Tahj was born in Clinton, North Carolina to two human parents. He had a fairly normal life up until seven months after his sixteenth birthday. Tahj had always been in love with science and volunteered at an animal shelter every weekend. One of those weekends, Tahj was eating his lunch outside on one of the benches when a dog broke loose from it’s cage and ran toward him. This dog was one that Tahj didn’t like because it was too aggressive. Before the dog got to close, Tahj found himself being surrounded by a strong mist and floating off of the ground. He later came to release that he could turn himself into concentrated water vapor.
Instances like these happened on several different occasions and came to the conclusion that he was a mutant. Tahj felt afraid and knew that he couldn’t tell anyone and decided that at the age of eighteen that he would go seek help. Unfortunately, he tricked himself into believing that it was all in his head and went to college. After graduation and little to no experimentation into his mutant abilities -- at least not on purpose or seriously -- he found work in the Research Triangle.. After gaining experience, he landed a job in New York and moved there at the beginning of May.

Sample RP:
Tahj adjusted his satchel as he walked the streets of New York City. It was certainly a culture shock for the home grown southern, but slowly he was assimilating. The hardest part to get over was not having access to sweet tea at nearly every restaurant of fast food joint that stamped every block. His attention was drawn across the street to a hot dog vendor. He resisted the urge to cross the street and decided to keep walking.
One a beautiful August afternoon like today, Tahj thought it would be a waste it and decided to head to Central Park. Going back to school for his masters was a bit daunting, but at the same time, Tahj knew that he could do it. He had to tools and the passion for science to make the most out of it. Plus, it was only two years and with finally getting into the swing of things at work and his new studio apartment, he felt that anything was possible. One could say that having a good day with good weather added with high expectations caused Tahj to feel like he was walking on cloud 9.
