Aura seemed to hesitate about her offer for a moment before she accepted the possibility. That might have been a small thing, but it was a big step for the young woman. Accepting help, or the possibility of help, was not easy for someone with Aura's history and trust issues. It would be a long time before she would actually take the X-men up on that, Gemma wagered, but it was good to know she did not hate the idea anymore.

"I'll make sure the team knows that" Gemma smiled "Well... I think that is all, for now. I'll reach out if we have any questions about Alex. And... visit any time you want. Let's go help them get settled in before you leave, hm?"

Mother and child had a long way to go, but they were off to a good start at Xavier's. And Gemma was going to help them every step of the way.

Aura considered Gemma's words a moment, their was shock in her eyes. "You really mean that don't you? After all i have done you have always welcomed me here. " she said not quite understanding how Gemma could be so forgiving. Aura could never forgive herself for much of what she done and had happened because of her.

She stood taking Gemma's suggestion, she had no idea what settling in actually entailed. "I have saved a few kids i have seen on the ground's Like that skunk girl. If she ever recalls what happoned then she will need you" she said deciding to leave it there. If the skunk recalled what happened Gemma could get her past it and if she never recalled, she was better off.

"And thank you, not just for today but the other times as well" she said not quite recalling if she had ever thanked Gemma before."[/color] she said offer a genuine smile backing off a few feet to let her power flicker on a secound before she turned it back off. A matter of self assurence that her power was still there.
