The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It was late or early. The mansion, which normally hummed with life, was quite. Only a few of the kids and other adults that couldn’t sleep or can’t sleep were keeping to themselves as usual. Some read, some played videogames or watched television everyone else remained in their rooms or raided the fridge. Then there was Sam. It was a habit that he continued from when he first got here to the second time he first got here after the deage.
His joints cracked, still sore from the underground fight ring that he had to help break up. First rule he wasn’t supposed to talk about it. The icemancer pulled his arm forward across his chest as he stifled a yawn. He was tired but restless. Once upon a time his go to would be to drink himself to sleep but he was still recovering and happy. Sam didn’t know if it was due to the deage or his girlfriend but he was happy. Too happy, hence being restless.
Sam nodded at the passing teen whose twelve eyes watched him pass in the hallway. Were they sleep walking? The teenager waved back and Sam kept moving. Was the walk down to the danger room always this long?
A few yawns later Sam was entering the danger room. The doors ‘whooshed’ open welcoming him back as the lights turned on. Most people didn’t have access to the danger room. Age restrictions and then there were the locked settings that prevented most from truly enjoying the room. Then again, Sam’s enjoyment didn’t always line up with everyone else. ”Evenin… morning Danger.” the room hummed as if it was trying to identify his voice. ”How about a warm up? Cold Steel session 219.” the room hummed then beeped loudly.
Reaching up and rubbing the bridge of his nose he cursed his younger self for renaming all of his files under ‘Rime’ cool name, however it was frustrating having a tattoo of the new name in a heart engraved on his body. He was still getting used to the change. He decided to ‘workshop the name’.

Aoi had spent several years bouncing between the mansion and her home back in Japan, she and her sister had grown up a bit but her sister had never quite gotten past a need to antagonize her. Her sister found it entertaining to set her off and trigger the bear within her so they could wrestle with each other. Her parents had moved the USA due to her dads job and they had gotten a place with a few acres of land to aide with their daughters needs.
The mansion had become a home that had helped her gain some confidence and friends and relax a bit, though she still got straight A's school work no longer dominated her every waking moment.
Aoi had been avoiding sleeping, sleep was something that still brought fear to her. Some people were afraid of sleep walking, Aoi had to worry about turning into a bear and ripping people limb from limb. Her bear form had the power, heck she had thrown a fridge at an undead crocodile a few years back. That had gotten them both in trouble and Aoi had felt bad, they had totaled the kitchen.
Lost in though she came upon the entrance to the Danger Room which she had not used much since coming of age to do so. Their just never seemed a good reason for it until it was brought up that dealing with the Bear's mind in stressful situations might keep her from losing control. She saw it was in use and smiled to herself, the room was unlocked. Aoi stepped back and called out to the Bear within her, it was eager as it always was and hungry as always.
Aoi felt her bones expand and pop as they readjusted in what should have been painful. Her silver hair, now at her knees went snow white and shortened to just a few inches per strand, but her entire body was quickly over taken by countless clear hairs made to look white from her skin. She saw the ground retreat from her head as she almost doubled in height and put on several hundred pounds. Confidence in her strength and power poured into her mind from the Bear, she knew she was the top predator.
Aoi entered with the bears confidence and firmly in control of it's instincts. She stood on her back paws, over ten feet tall and the claws on her hands were nearly half a foot each, she felt prepared. This was a test after all and Aoi Always got an A. Still the inability to communicate as the bear still gave some restrictions. She felt warm which was not unusual at all as the Bear.
Every now and again, Jalen likes to take day trip to the Mansion to check on his old friends, mentors, and relive the glory days. Jalen spent a great deal of time in this school. He feels that he owes a huge debt of gratitude to this institution. Though his donations don’t come Worthington-sized, he makes the most modest of donations that he can afford to send to the institute. Jalen truly believes that this place has helped shaped a lot of who he is today and he hopes it will continue to help others the way this place helped him.
This place was his home for many years so he feels super comfortable wearing his “comfy clothes”. As he walked though front doors, the sounds of uncontrollable children and the manic adults trying to control them gave Jalen great comfort.
Sounds like my childhood. he laughed outwardly at the thought. A smile was found on his face reaching from ear to ear.
Today was Jalen’s day of from work, so he took a Lyft to the mansion that morning. He was wearing fashionable black sweatpants and a white t-shirt with a pair of black sneakers. At least once a month, Jalen likes to take a step into the danger room and release his frustration. It’s like the ultimate outlet for pint up anger, frustration, and TK build up. Jalen calls extended periods of time where he hasn’t released TK punches, TK build up.
Bashing something with all of his built up pressure and his natural anxiety is therapeutic for him. Honestly, Jalen believed it felt better than his mandatory therapy sessions. As per Patricia, his boss, she enforced all her workers to attend bi-weekly sessions to maintain their mental wellness.
With each hall he passed, Jalen reminisced an old memory. Jalen never really ran with the prank-ish cliques. If anything, he was either an observer or the butt of the joke. And BOY, were there shenanigans in this place! Speaking off, Jalen heard the cracking of bones as he got closer to the danger room and watched a shadow grow from a petite body into a friggin bear. He placed his hand over his mouth with his eyes wide because there was a friggin mutant bear going in the danger room.
As he turned the corner to the danger room corridor, he was able catch a small glimpse of the bear before the danger door had closed. He approached the panel and put in his code. INVALID. Must his nerves.
“That’s weird,” he said. Jalen reached into his pocket and retrieved a folded up piece of paper with a bunch of numbers on it. “Let’s see. Which one is it?” he questioned as he ran his finger down the now unfolded sheet of paper. “Ah ha, there it is!” he exclaimed.
Entering his correct code once more, the panel accepted the code and the doors slide opened. He quickly put his wallet in his pocket and nervously shuffled into the danger room. And there he saw the BEAR. (Haha! That rhymed)
He saw the huge and iridescent white bear and a man that seemed familiar. Jalen could swear that he’d seen him before. He was in the X-trainee program for 3 years while he attended this school before he left for college at NYU, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on who he was. Or what his name was. He would speak and ask but a polar bear was standing less than a yard away from Jalen. I mean, it, literally, has taken his breath away. Is it even friendly?! Without noticing, Jalen’s TK field formed over his body.
Safe, I think. he thought as he gazed in awe of the beautiful and deadly creature.

”Let me change that then.” Sam said removing his hand from the bridge of his nose. He didn’t really react when he felt the change in the room. There were two body temperatures before he said anything else to the room. One was a human, the other was in the shape of a giant ****ing bear. It was white did that mean it was a polar bear? How long since he had last seen one? One two years maybe? His last trip north resulted in him spooking one that turned into a few hours of playing follow the leader (not his choice). Bears were determined when spooked or protecting their young.
The icemancer raised his head back his thermal sense painting a giant red and yellow painting over the bears form. Of course he was the only one to see that. ”Looks like I’m not the only one who can’t sleep hm?” he asked folding his arms. The air around Sam got cold. Yeah it was a freaking bear but it wasn’t the first time he was standing face to face with one.
The thermal image blurred behind the bear and Sam had to look to see who it was. ”More than welcome to join, was just thinking of a warm up.” he said looking at the guy before shifting to the bear. Sam stifled a yawn.
”Anybody have any requests or am I the lucky guy that gets to pick because I was here first?” Sam asked wondering silently what kind of session could use a bear. All of them. All of his sessions could use them.

Aoi Dropped to all fours, it was easier to maintain then standing. The Polar bear could stand of course but its spent most of its time on all fours. Aoi glanced over at the third entry into the room. She did not recognize him but people came and went all the time. She reminded the Bear instincts that no, these two were not in any way shape or form food. She had learned over the years the bear instincts only really had a few responses and food was the strongest.
She nodded as Sam made the comment about not being the only one not able to sleep. She did hate her inability to speak in more then a roar or grunt in this form. She could feel the wave of cold come off of sam and felt happier, propelled by Bear instinct and because she felt hot much of the time in this form. A polar bear could get heat stroke after a few hours at just 50f degree.
She shook her head no when he asked for requests, she would not have known what to his request anyway but thought maybe it would of been better to go in as herself instead of shifting to Bear outside but it was much to late for that. Something to keep in mind for next time. A fish would have also been fantastic she thought.
The other guy she had thought about patting his shoulder but realized that likely would not give the impression of a friendly bear as her paw could envelop most peoples heads and even more so their shoulder. To signal she was ready she let out a few loud grunts and rose onto her back legs a moment before dropping back down to show she was ready, glancing at the men to wither side of her after,
Jalen lightly jumped at the Sam’s voice. He’d commented about not being able to sleep. Jalen pulled out his cellphone and looked at the time. His eyes widened and thought, Wow! I didn’t even realize it was that late.” He’d spent so long catching up and admiring his old home that he’d even looked at the time.
He looked over at the bear that’d come down off of all fours. The bear seemed to understand language but didn’t speak back. She must not be able to speak as a bear. Makes sense. Jalen appeared visibly less apprehensive. His shoulders began to relax. Bear, good. Bear, friend. Jalen is not food and that was understood.
Now realizing that he hadn’t said a word to anyone in the room, Jalen slapped his hand on his forehead. A small flash of sparkle could be seen upon contact with his hand to his head. His TK fields touched at two separate points and the impact could be seen. It was small and didn’t hurt Jalen. It was just noticeable at the point of contact. Ordinarily, it’s invisible.
“Hi! I’m so sorry for being rude. I’m Jalen Kingston. I used to go here as a kid. I graduated in 2011 and went to NYU for psychology. I still have my old code from the X-Juniors program. I can’t believe it still works,” Jalen said eloquently giving the man and Bear a quick run down of his credentials.
Again, he glanced at Sam and still didn’t recognize him. Maybe he was new. He spoke so confidently to both Jalen and Bear, that’s what I’m it for now. It’s as if he were important and unafraid. He must be a professor here or something. New maybe? Jalen thought.
“A warm-up sounds cute. I just want to hit something. I’m Tough. And I can handle it, boss. [/i] Jalen said smirking and bouncing his body up and down a bit to flex his calves and thighs. He turned his neck from side to side. He knew how treacherous the Danger Room could be. Expect danger and anticipate the room to try and destroy you from all corners.
“Oh, by the way. What’s your name? Are you a teacher here?” Jalen asked while warming up his body and stretching his arms across his chest, at this point. He was ready for the start button at anytime.

The cyclopean mutant stared at the two with his good eye. The bear seemed enthused, at least what he could assume was enthused, the shaking of a the head was also helpful. Too bad the mutant wasn’t a wolf. Easier to read. Sam had more interactions with them then bears. Especially when he went on his ‘survival classes’. The bear grunted a few times and didn’t seem like they were yelling to yell. Sam smirked slightly then turned his gaze to the guy.
Something caught Sam’s attention when the guy hit himself. Was it a bit of light? ”Not being rude” Sam shrugged, to be fair neither he nor the bear asked for his name. From what he could tell the bear couldn’t give one. Sam could however. ”Sam. Sam Johnson. Teacher of self defense, team member of the X’s since…. 08? **** I’m old.” he crossed his arms forming an X briefly before he looked to the bear and then Jalen. Trying to figure out the best scenario. Apparently a warm-up was cute, normally his warm up weren’t considered cute.
”Tough huh? Cold Steel… I mean Rime. Work shopping.” he said shrugging. They didn’t need the details of his new name nor the fact that he missed a few months due to a de-age/re-age thing. Sam didn’t recall the name. Then again he had been so focused on his issues for the last few years and the amount of teams Tricity had Sam wasn’t surprised there was another to the roster of X. Maybe Sam should have studied more.
Sam looked over to the bear. ”I’m gonna assume you have the ability of a bear. Or a bear with the intelligence of a human.” he smirked and shrugged, ”I’m gonnna call you bear. Until you can vocalize another name and if ‘Tough’ thinks warm ups are cute...” Sam looked over to the guy and smirked, ”I’ll cater to Bear.” Sam looked up to the god room ”Rime. Session twenty-six. North. Way north.”
Sam smirked and took a step back the roomed hummed and then the landscape changed turning the ground into a frozen wasteland pocketed with patches of water among the ice and snow. Incidentally the same landscape that Sam had encountered one of his first polar bears. ”Jalen, the room can provide you thermal protection if you want it. I don’t need it.” with that his body covered in ice.
”Name of the game is reaching the flag. There will also be some things that are uncommon here.” as if on cue a ten-foot penguin emerged from one of the pockets of water. The session was a shout out to one of his first training sessions. ”You can hit them as hard as you want and everyone else competing.” Sam said grinning more, ”You want to hit things good. Me too, always.” Sam looked over to the polar bear. ”Can’t speak for Jalen, I’ve tussled with polar bears before. You feel like hitting and I don’t get out of the way I deserved to get hit.”
”Ready when you are!” Sam said the air temperature around him dropping as he created more snow.

Aoi knew it was late, and it had occurred to her Sam might want to be in here alone. She glanced at jalens cell phone, she had tried to bring hers in this mode before but a lack of thumbs and her strength had resulted in that turning out poorly for the phone. Still she decided she would carry something even if just a chalkboard and chalk next time.
She knew who Sam was but not Jalen. The mansion was big and it was hard to keep track of everyone. Aoi had also bounced between Japan and the Mansion for awhile and was very cautious about her powers. She knew it would take very little to to hurt someone in this form.
Being called Bear was better then other things she had been called, more so when she raided that fish market amoung other issues caused by the Bear;s instincts running over her. It was accurate to though it made her thing about what might be had her sister been here.
Sam did cater to Bear as he put it. The Bear felt at home with the new landscape. The cold washed over her chasing away the unpleasant warmth. She could enjoy whatever was waiting for them, as she two enjoyed hitting things, but it was hard to find things she could do so without making people angry.
Penguins and Polar bears did not meet as they were from totally different ends of the earth. The bear wanted her to challenge it or/maybe try and eat it. The Human part of her knew any meat the penguin had was likely a not eddable illusion. SHe nodded slightly to her Sam as he mentioned if he got hit by her he deserved it and that they were competing. She let out a happy sigh as she felt the waves of cold come off of Sam.
She had no idea where the flag might be but she gave into the Bear as soon as the other two said they were ready, her target the Penguin. Her claws dug into the ice providing her traction as her form moved. Polar Bears could run almost twenty five miles per hour, which well faster then non Olympic level humans, it did have limits. Just because something could do a task did not mean it was built for it. Still as she closed on the Penquin she reared up onto her back legs, leaning forward as not to fall back from momentum and threw a straight arm at the penguin, claws first. The blow was one that could easily break the fingers of a human, but the steak knife like claws she had corrected that issue. She was sure the flag would be seen eventually and saw little harm with letting the Bear instincts go with a little help of course and direction.
“Old is such a relative term. It seems like yesterday that was a kid. Personally, I find the older chapter life to be more enjoyable than my younger years,” Jalen said warmly.
In the past, Jalen often debated whether or not if the term old was a bad thing. There has been no conclusion, but he tells his patients what matters is how they viewed life currently and identifying what exactly makes you happy. You should spend more of your energy there.
“Sam... Nope, I still don’t remember you, but it’s been a long time since I attended school here.” He said finishing his body warm-ups. “Cold Steel got...,” he stopped to let Sam... Cold Steel finish. A small utter of a up, up, and a mum could be heard accompanied by a silly frozen facial expression. Now, we were at Rime.
Rhyme like poetry? Maybe he has speaking powers or something. It’s probably best not to ask too many questions. He’s a teacher so I assume he has patience, but there’s no need to be annoying. Jalen thought.
“Rhyme. Got it,” he said with a rather oblivious, deer-in-headlights-esque smile. This man could easily kick Jalen’s ass, so he’ll keep the positive approach for the time being.
By the time he finished stretching, the danger room was starting to do it’s thing. Sam continued talking, almost like this was normal. For Jalen, he was always in awe of the extraordinary capabilities of the danger room. Jalen, with his head pointed up and looking around, responded to Sam by mumbling, “Yeah, a heat blanket would be nice.”
A warming a sensation went down his body. His body shivered with pleasure. It was a nice feeling. Now, Jalen didn’t have to sustain his own body temperature. Work smarter not harder, right? His eyes finally lingered over to Rhyme again, who’d shifted to a body of ice and it finally hit Jalen.
“I remember now!” He exclaimed as a huge penguin appeared before him and Bear had dashed towards it. There was no time to address this memory lapse fully. He did hear some nasty rumors from other students about an ice dude back in the day, but Jalen wasn’t a fan of gossip. Everyone deals with their own shit differently. And it’s not his place to judge.
The winter apocalypse was pretty intense at first glance, but the warm glow of the white snow and ice against the dark “sky” let off a eerie calm. Jalen loved the snow, but he loved catch the flag more. Honestly, anything competitive was good for Jalen.
Jalen immediately went into a 2 front flips. Upon the second flip going into the 3rd, Jalen slapped his against the snow, which pounced off the ground upon impact. Jalen pushed himself 5 yards (15 feet) into the air. While up there, he looked around trying to find the direction of flag. Jalen had decided that he would leave the giant penguin to the bear. He didn’t see himself hitting penguins. They’re good cute. Plus, Jalen HAD to be the first to get to that flag. There’s no prize for second place. 😉

Sam wasn’t working for T.A.T. now so yeah; this chapter of his life was indeed better. It was nice not being an attack dog. Even if he was good at it. The room provided for Jalen as needed. Good they were all ready. Apparently more than ready, Sam quickly realized they were both better suited for this than he thought. Bear took on its challenger and Jalen launched himself into the air no doubt looking for the best line of sight.
The room as always provided. The ice under Sam started to crumble. He reinforced it and felt himself be lifted into the air as a penguin erupted from the water below. Sam rolled forward then righted himself on an ice slide propelling him forward. He skidded lower till he hit the blades forming at his feet in the shape of skates. Sam cut through the ice and turned towards the penguin that was tussling with Bear.
Shooting a beam of ice at the backside of Bear’s penguin Sam hoped to distract it long enough to be an easier target. As he turned away he gave every one a wave looking to see where the flag was had to be around here somewhere.

Aoi's straight arm pierced penguin flesh like paper, gutting it. Aoi noticed the frozen portion of it's back only after it fell to the ground. She looked up to see Jalen seeming to fly and then saw Sam ice skating through the ice and snow. Aoi had a tough time convincing the Bear that the Penguin was not food, though she herself did not know if it would have actual taste or not she was pretty sure it would not fill the bears stomach.
She also began looking for the flag, the bear form was not fast but it could keep going for a long time. Part of her wondered if it would be in the open or hidden somewhere. She saw another penguin emerge from beneath the water but managed to dodge aside it and kept going putting on some speed to clear the distance between them, assuming they were not much for speed. Part of her wondered what color the flag would be, she had assumed red but considered a white flag would be quite tough to find.
She made some distance and slowed letting the bear breathe as she stood up on her back paws for a solid view. She figured this would likely not be easy, and also glanced down wondering if the flag could be below the ice, or if the program would allow that. She decided to keep moving however climbing onto a rise in the ice for a better view.
To no avail, Jalen was unable to get a visual on the flag. He grunted with displeasure at his own failure. Surely, the flag would be somewhere nearby. From above, he was able to see the beginnings of Bear and Sam take on the first giant penguin. Jalen had no intention of fighting an animal so cute.
Everything that goes up, most come down. Jalen was falling from 15 feet. He immediately armored up his invisible TK field and braced for impact. Initially, Jalen thought that he’d thrown himself straight up and he’d land in a pile of snow. Unfortunately, his trajectory was off... by a lot.
He was falling in the direction of the giant penguin, Sam, and Bear. Jalen sealed the air pockets in his pockets to keep out the freezing water from entering his field and ball into a fetal position for impact with the water. Like a cannon firing into an ocean bed, Jalen was now submerged into the icy waters below.
Thank goodness for the heat blanket from the danger room because THIS would suck. Belly flopping into a body of water would have sucked too. Jalen thought.
He could hear the footsteps and sounds of the battle going on above the water as he floated free-formed in the water below. It’s funny how sound is almost amplified underwater. Jalen had similar thoughts to Bear. Was it possible the flag could be under water? He swam 10 feet south looking for anything remotely resembling a flag.
Jalen felt the water shifting and quickly from further south. Something was coming, but he couldn’t see what it was at first. The closer it got the larger it seemed to become. Jalen wasn’t concerned until it became abundantly clear that it was headed straight for him. He quickly began to swim north towards the surface. He was 10 feet underwater, but his speed was nothing in comparison to the second giant penguin.
It’s mouth was open and it was looking to consume Jalen. He knew at this point there was no out-swimming this creature. He immediately turned around and readied himself for incoming assault. The penguin’s beak snapped down on Jalen like a bear’s foot in a trap.
Jalen resisted the bite by outstretching his arms and legs to prevent the giant penguin from shutting its beak. CRASH! The penguin crashed against the ice and breached the water with Jalen and it’s beak taking the major of the impact.
“Owww, dammit!!!” Jalen swore out loud.
Now, he was going to fight a penguin. They are no longer cute! The penguin continued to bite down trying to force it’s beak closed. Resisting at first, Jalen released the beak so it could close. SNAP! Soon after, Jalen punched a hole through the top of the beak and was jumping towards the ground where he fell into a pile of snow. He stood up quickly and got into a firm fighting stance. He secured his feet in the snow. He knew it would be difficult terrain, so trying to run to the penguin would be a bad idea.
“Bring it, Happy Feet!” taunted Jalen as he gestured it to come closer to him.
The penguin SQUAWKED in anger as it raged toward Jalen.

A few minutes had passed since the session began, nothing yet as far as the flag. However more and more penguins were starting to appear in the distance slowly waddling over. They were pretty far off so he didn’t pay much mind to it for the moment. His eye searched back to Bear and Jalen to see how they were doing.
Bear was searching as well and Jalen seemed to have gone for a swim to find another penguin. Sam smirked, he loved sessions like this. They catered to him, something that he rarely got to deal with unless there was a decent snow in the city or he was north in his home away from the mansion. He felt it before it breached the ice. Before the ice under his feet broke it launched him to the side as another giant penguin erupted from the ice.
Sam caught himself with his mutation creating cushion to catch him and upright him. The ice under his feet shifted to his feet and created a wave as he pushed forward into the air with both hands. The snow formed to ice spikes as they went through the penguin.
Shifting his weight he made an uppercut motion causing the snow to erupt up from the ground around the penguin forming a cube of ice. Sam looked around and felt the ice under his feet shift and crack. He didn’t need a mutation to feel it or see it.
Sam’s lone eye shifted as a large hill erupted from the ice a hundred yards away from them. He smirked as his eye saw the long flag that was clear due to some gust of wind causing it to wave to the group.
”Whoever gets to it first gets bragging rights.” he shouted as he sidestepped another penguin erupting from under him.

She saw the flag at almost the same point Sam did and began moving towards it. However a penguin burst up below her and knocked her bulk aside sending her skidding on the ice until her claws were able to grip the ice. She got up as the penguin tried to knock into her again, it succeeded but Aoi reared up and met it in an embrace pushing back against the bulk and finding the penguin weighed almost what she did.
She tried to move around the penguin but was checked by it in her flank, she turned and ripped a simulated fleshy chunk from the strange creature. Aoi urged herself to move on but the Bear's instincts were getting tough to hold back. It did not like being challenged by creatures that almost stood her size. Turning back the bear slashed at the punguin with her claws and when it fell to it's back she put her teeth around it's neck or would have if it would have fit still it ripped a large chuck of fake flesh from the creature..
The Bear confusion allowed Aoi to fight her way past the Bear instincts and got her moving again in the general direction of the flag though she had lost it's exact spot in the hold up. She could not see the other two but she could smell they were ahead of her.
As she moved to the top of an ice cliff she heard the ice begin to crack under her wieght and was dropped with a big splach into the water. Insulated as she was, she still dug her claws deep into the ice and pulled herself back onto the ice as quickly as she could. Standing to get her bearings she saw the flag several hundred yards from her and began a jog toward it.
As if planned, Jalen slid underneath the giant penguin, yanked its right flipped backwards. This caused the giant penguin to belly flop forward into the blanket of ice. The impact immediately caused the ground to be unstable. Jalen knee he’d better move before he took another trip underwater.
Jalen’s instincts were sharp as a rock. He took off running in the opposite direction of the collapsing ice. A rumble could be heard beneath the surface. Jalen looked down to see two or three shadows farting towards the surface. Jalen looked around and tried to think what he could do.
BOOM! The first penguin breached the ice perfectly without causing more ground to collapse. Jalen was able to dodge being hit by its initial breech. The second penguin was breaching from a section of the ice that was already broken behind Jalen. Reacting quickly, he cocked back his right arm and met the penguin with a powerful downward punch. The force of the punch forced the penguin back down into the water where it crashed into the three penguin.
FLAG was all Jalen heard Sam say. He looked around all almost frantically looking for some direction. He did see the snow mountain erupt from the ground initially like Sam did. He was able to catch a glimpse at Bear clawing ferociously into a penguin.
D*+#! That’s why I don’t mess around and play with animals! Jalen thought.
The Bear made quick work on the penguins and darted towards another direction.
Is Bear chasing the flag Jalen thought.
Culturally, when African-Americans see other African-Americans run, they all run. So naturally, Jalen running the same direction as the Bear, who was much faster than him. If he was going to catch up, he was going to need a boost. Once again, Jalen went into two front flips and slapped the against the ground on into the third flip. He’d launched himself using strength to release him from the grips of gravity. He landed a few feet in front of Bear. Looking up, he could see Sam and the flag into from him.
“I’m coming the flag, Sam!” He yelled competitively across the frozen wasteland.
