Personality: Ylaipi is a very optimistic person. She sees the good in everything and tries her best to spread joy. Although she acknowledges the past, she focuses on the present and the future. She tends to get lazy and tries her best ti remain active, but sometimes gets stuck in her ways.
Hobbies/ Interests: Ylaipi is obsessed with listening to music, reading manga, and calling out of work.
Job or part time job and description: Ylaipi works 2 jobs, both of which are chain retail stores. 
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Insects, outer space, and the ocean.
Special talents: She was a gymnast in her early teen years, which granted her great flexibility.

Mutations

Mutation description:

Pain/Damage Delay 
Ylaipi has the ability to indefinitely delay any and all afflictions done to her or another person, with her maxing out at five people at once. When used on herself or one other person, she's able to use her ability for as long as she's awake, regardless of how severe the damage might be. When it's two to five people, the time lessens based on the number of people and how severe their afflictions are. For instance, if she were to use her ability on two people with broken ankles, she'd be able to keep them from getting worse for about five hours. If she were to use her ability on two people with ripped off limbs, the time available would be reduced drastically, to no more than 30 minutes. She's able to resume the process of said affliction at any time.

Speeding up current bodily processes
This ability allows her to speed up the process of said affliction; she can push a disease from its early stages into its final stage, cause an early infection to spread throughout a person's entire body, etc. It takes no focus and comes naturally, allowing her to use this ability on a person she's touched whenever she pleases. 
She's noticed signs of being able to heal smaller wounds, but needs to understand the process of recovery in order to do so. It requires a large amount of focus and can only attempt to be used on one person at a time.

Strengths: It allows her or her teammates to continue a fight despite having potentially life-threatening wounds. It also allows her to seek help from someone who can treat wounds. 

Weaknesses and Limitations: She needs to touch a person in order to use her powers on them, but can remove her hands from them while maintaining her abilities. She can't use her powers on more than 5 people at a time, otherwise her powers temporarily stop working. If she's using it on herself, then she's unable to use it on anyone else. The more complex the affliction is and the more people she's using her powers on at once, the harder it is for her to delay said afflictions. If a person is already dead, her powers cannot be used on them.

General Physical Capabilities: Ylaipi has above-average speed and stamina. She's also extremely flexible and agile due to her gymnastics background.
Fighting Style: She's awful at fighting. Her style consists of hair pulling and windmilling.

History Of Your Character
Ylaipi grew up right on the Hudson River in Hoboken, New Jersey. She lived a seemingly normal life with her parents and older brother. She had an eye for gymnastics, so her parents enrolled her in the best classes they could find in Manhattan. She was a star student, both in gymnastics and public school. She was a happy-go-lucky child ready to take on the world. By the time she turned thirteen, she was preparing for her last year before high school and moving onto a new gymnastics studio to get her name out into the world and pursue a future in gymnastics. However, things took an unfortunate turn when her older brother had gone missing on his eighteenth birthday. Her parents had gathered groups of people to help them look for their son, both in New Jersey and New York. Ylaipi was left with her grandmother for a month while her parents continued searching. As time went on, the groups of people dwindled, until it was only Ylaipi's parents left searching. They returned home to their daughter, but nothing was the same. Ylaipi remained hopeful that her brother was somewhere out there, living the life he wanted to. The following year on the anniversary of her brother's disappearance and birthday, Ylaipi's parents received a phone call, which seemingly enraged her father. His skin began to turn dark purple, with her mother attempting to calm him down. He stormed out of the house as Ylaipi's mother called her grandmother to watch over her again. Days went by without a word from her parents. Ylaipi grew worried of her parents' fate. After another few days, the police knocked on Ylaipi's grandmother's door, alerting her of the deaths of both Ylaipi's parents and her brother's deaths. Their corpses had been left in front of the town hall with the word Mutant written across each of their faces. Scattered around them were pictures of them using their powers at different times. Both Ylaipi and her grandmother were devastated, and unsure of what to do beyond that point.
Ylaipi attempted to return to school, but was relentlessly bullied for having mutants parents and potentially being a mutant herself. She dropped out of both gymnastics and public school and only remained in contact with the one friend who never left her side; Rina. Ylaipi's grandmother's health was quickly deteriorating, so she decided to send her to spend the rest of her teenage years living with her estranged aunt and uncle in Pennsylvania. They hated mutants and forbade her from speaking about her parents. She joined a new school and met Romeo, her new best friend. He was the only person in her new life that was she comfortable enough to share her family's story with, and, to her surprise, he was completely understanding. For the first time in a long time, she was optimistic for the future. By the time she was eighteen and finishing her senior year of high school, she decided she wanted to move to Manhattan, where should could begin trying to find answers of what happened to her brother and parents. Together, both her and Romeo left Pennsylvania and met with Rina back in New Jersey. Once Ylaipi's grandmother had passed, she left a small fortune to her granddaughter, which she used to help pay for their new apartment. Four years had eventually passed and the three were still in the same spot. They were each working dead-end jobs, with Ylaipi losing her's every other month due to calling out. After a long day of work, Romeo and Rina met up with Ylaipi to grab drinks at their local bar. A random fight ensued which caused guns to be fired among the bar goers. A stray bullet struck Romeo in the shoulder, causing him to fall to the ground. Ylaipi and Rina ran to him and attempted to aid him as he was losing a lot of blood. Ylaipi frantically put her bare hands on his wound to put pressure, when they suddenly began to glow. Everyone in the bar was in shock. Romeo's wound stopped bleeding, and, despite having a bullet in his shoulder, felt no pain, as if he was completely fine. The trio still went to the nearest hospital to have the bullet removed from Romeo's shoulder. The doctors were shocked that no blood left his body while removing the bullet. Ylaipi and Rina stayed in the hospital over night to make sure Romeo would be alright. Once he was cleared to leave, the three of them left and returned to their apartment. Ylaipi was finally able to relax, and, in doing so, stopped using her powers on Romeo. He suddenly began feeling the pain he was originally meant to feel. They all realized Ylaipi had great power, and knew she was meant to use it. The trio began discussing how to test Ylaipi's powers and where to go from there. Whatever happened, Ylaipi knew she was going to make a difference.

Waking up from her nap, Ylaipi let out a big yawn and looked over at her clock.

"12:30!? I set my alarm for 11!" she yelled as she frantically began getting dressed. She snatched her keys and wallet off the table and ran for the door.

Rina, with a smirk on her face, looked at Ylaipi and asked, "Late again, huh?" 

Ylaipi gave her a dirty look, swung open their apartment door and ran down the stairs as fast as she could. She sent a text to her manager, profusely apologizing and telling her she's on her way. She got on the subway and made her way to her job. As she stood in the packed train cart, she couldn't help but wonder why she was still working this job when she could be out in the world doing something to make a difference. She sighed, and made her way towards a newly-empty seat. After another ten minutes, she arrived at her job. 

"I am so, so, sososo sorry!" Her manager grunted and pointed to her register, signaling her to sign on and begin taking customers.
During her entire shift, she couldn't help but picture the potential good she could put out into the world using her newfound abilities. "I wonder if they'd be proud," she thought to herself.
After the longest 8 hours of her life had finally passed, she clocked out and headed for the front doors. On her way out, she was stopped by her main manager, who told her she didn't have to come in anymore. While somewhat relieved, due to the fact she hated the job, she had bills to pay, and immediately became stressed. "My eighth job in four months. New record!" 
She got off the train and began walking to her apartment. 

"How was work, Yipi?" asked Romeo. 

"Don't ask." Ylaipi replied. Romeo let out a laugh and opened the door for Ylaipi. She immediately walked to her room and began researching where to begin her journey at a mutant. Web page after web page, she became more confused. "Okay, maybe I should start small and come up with a code name first." Now aware of what her powers are, she began to think of a name based off of what she can do. "Heal? No..." she thought. "Angel! Wait, no, that's probably taken." She walked into the living room and sat on the couch, with the TV playing in the background. "White Glowing Hand Girl!" she facepalmed. In the background, the news anchor had mentioned train delays, when it suddenly hit her. "Delay... That's perfect!"
