Character's real name: Eki Kagasu (Eki is his last name, and Kagasu his first.) Codename: Grease
Gender: Male Age: 16 Nationality/Ethnicity: None really, used to be Japanese though. Birthplace: Somewhere in the Northwestern United States.
Personality: Kagasu likes to keep to himself, and people usually mistake it for vanity. Really he’s just extremely shy.
Notes (hobbies, phobias, worries, etc.): Phobias Hydrophobia: Rain(or any water) isn’t really his thing, but he can deal with a calm drizzle or two without totally freaking. Pyrophobia: He doesn’t like any thing hot, or that has to do with fire do to the fact that he is highly flammable. Ochophobia: He has a severe fear of vehicles that run on gasoline, for obvious reasons. Hobbies People Watching: He likes to watch people go about their lives like he could never. Music: Kagasu loves all kinds of music, and can almost always be found listing to it or humming it.
Side (good, bad, or neutral): Good
Everyday clothing: He can’t wear clothes, though he does shape his body to appear that he is wearing a vest kind of thing and pants. Uniform (optional; if you become an X-Man, your uniform will receive an X-Men logo): Again, he can’t wear clothes, but his body usually becomes more streamline when he fights. Pajamas: Hair color and style: His hair is the only part of his facade that ever is human; it is white and long. When he shape shifts it melts away though. Eye color: His whole eyes are black as the rest of his body Height: It varies, but it’s usually around 5’6” Build: Most of the time he has a very lean build.
Scars: N/A Tattoos: N/A Piercing: N/A
Description of ability(ies): Kagasu is basically a pool of black oil come to life. He can shape shift into pretty much any shape, and seep through basically any substance. Since his body and all of the organs within are made of oil and can be reformed, he is most likely immortal. Right now he is only 16, though, so no one knows for sure, but there is a good chance. Also, his body can pick up and shape any oil that is around him.
Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies): Speaking is complicated, because his mouth usually wants to reabsorb his tongue. Furthermore, when it rains or when he is in water the oil that forms his body separates and drifts away. Lastly, if he was ever to be set on fire, he would be pretty much doomed.
Fighting style (if any): Kagasu doesn’t like to fight, and when he does it’s always very haphazard.
History of your character: Born to a wealthy couple, Kagasu had a pretty normal childhood for the first few years of his life, going to daycare and playing with his friends. But sadly, just as he was beginning kindergarten, strange things started to happen to the boy. His skin slowly was turning black, and he started to lose control of his own motor functions, like walking and writing. His parents had known that he was a mutant all along, thanks to the doctor, but they had just figured up till then that his white hair and odd phobias were all that was ‘wrong’ with their son. About a week later he was forbidden from leaving his room, for his sake and the sake of those around him. It was during this time when his mother and father changed his name to Kagasu Eki, making sure that his last name had nothing to due with theirs and after the transformation was complete, they shipped him away to keep their reputation. Occasionally they sent him letters, and on holidays he would sometimes come for a visit, other than that, though, he really didn’t have much of a family. Not long before he came to the mansion, Kagasu ran away from the insane asylum where he was an inmate, thanks to his parents. Of coarse he was returned for a reward when a bum found him cowering on the side of the street (he’s not that hard to miss). His parents, acting like they cared about him, were waiting at the asylum with a private jet to take him to the school for mutants they had heard of. The jet ride wasn’t the greatest, since the whole time Kagasu was screaming his head off, and once it was over everything was a he was forced into a small car to travel the rest of the way to the mansion. The rest of the story is to be found out…
Sample RP: The tune of an old song I learned in daycare was silenced in the cold hallway as I watched as an older woman wonder, her eyes unseeing and her hands trembling. She, as well as I, were always locked away, and I was wondered how she had escaped her room. For me it easy enough, just melt down to a puddle and slip under the door, but for her it had to have been much harder since she had an actual body, one that couldn’t be destroyed with one little flame or distorted by a drop of rain. “Ma’am,” I called down to her in a gentle tone, “Ma’am, are you lost?” A startled look came across her face, and she turned to where I stood.
“Oh, it’s you Adam. You frightened me for a minute there, with your being so quiet and all. What are you doing out of bed this late at night? Did you have another nightmare?” She obviously had me confused with someone else, but, seeing this was an insane asylum, I went along with it.
“I’m sorry mother; it was just so scary…” I let me sentence drop off and ran over to her, my form changing as I approached so that when I finally reached her I was a small boy, just tall enough to grip the woman around the knees. She reached down and patted my head.
“You are forgiven, my child, as long as tomorrow you tell me who I am again.” Slowly she bent down to a squatting position, her old joints cracking all the way. “But for now you and I better be off to bed!” Her wrinkled finger came up to poke me on the nose, but stopped half way. “Which way is my room again?” She stood, her face expression switching to one of hopelessness, and looked this was and that, desperately searching for something. “John!” she called, still looking around, “Help me John! They’re coming to get me!”
“There she is!” A man at the other side of the hall dressed in all white motioned to his coworkers. That was my cue to disappear, and disappear I did. If there was anything I could have done for the woman I would have stayed and helped her escape, but there was not. The men were, well, normal, and I always became so shy around people who were normal. It was better this way anyhow; she would go back to her safe, quiet room, and I wouldn’t have to be kept in mine. (Yes, it kind of ends abruptly….sorry)
