Character's real name: Christopher J. Seenter Codename/Alias: Eneger, En
Gender: Male Age: 21 Nationality/Ethnicity: American/White Birthplace: Wasilla, Alaska Personality: Chris values friends above all else, usually sacrificing himself to ensure their safety and protection. For someone who’s been afraid of his power, true friends are his biggest treasure and he will not lose that. He’s also the kind of guy who would protect others, even those he doesn’t know. He values life, but will fight anyone to protect himself and others. Notes (Hobbies, Phobias, Worries, ect.): He has an interest in video games and anime, like most guys who don’t get out much. He also enjoys nature, feeling close to it whenever he uses or manipulates his power. There’s only one fear he has, and it’s an odd fear that also affects his power. He is unusually nervous around females, even the ones that he’s familiar with. He tends to keep his distance when it comes to females, usually about five feet with those he’s familiar with and ten feet to those that he’s not. Whenever he’s closer to a girl, his power tends to go crazy from lack of focus.
Allegiance (Good, Bad, or Neutral): Good/Neutral
Everyday clothing: He usually wears either a dark red or navy blue t-shirt in the summer time, and a brown suede jacket in the winter. With his power he can regulate his body temperature in any climate, but tries to hide it under the clothing. During the warm summer months he likes to wear knee length jean shorts, and in the winter he wears loose jeans. He sometimes wears a black backpack whenever he plans for a long day, like college or just walking the city. Uniform (Optional. Required if eventually becoming part of the X-Men): None….yet. Pajamas: Usually just sleeps in his boxers.
Hair color and style: Light brown, cut short on the top and sides because of a premature balding on his mother’s side of the family. Eye color: Crystal blue. Height: 6’ 00” Build: Slightly muscular from exercising and using his ability.
Scars: None Tattoos: None Piercings: None
Description of ability(ies): Bioelectrical Manipulation- Chris has the ability to control the bioelectrical energy in his body, focusing it in specific parts of his body to give him temporary boosts of power. The main focus of the ability allows him to focus the energy to his arms for super strength (like Colossus), or to his legs for almost lightning type speed (like Quicksilver) and jumping. It was recently that he learned to manipulate his energy outside of his body in the form of an energy blast of pure energy. The blast hits almost like a cannon ball shot from a cannon. This energy manipulation also gives him a slight boost in healing, increasing his natural regeneration by 5%. 10% if he focuses his energy on a certain spot. Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies): His powers can only last as long as his bioelectrical energy can last. For now he can only concentrate it in five minutes of constant strength and speed, and only about five solid consecutive shots of energy. If a girl is close to him when he uses his power, he tends to lose focus and cause either a misfire of his energy or a complete drain causing him to faint. Fighting style (if any): He uses Judo to help focus his abilities and fight in combat.
History of your character: Chris was born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska. He grew up with both parents and an annoying twin sister. He led a normal life up to his fifteenth birthday, when his abilities manifested during a track meet at his school. He was running in the 100 meter dash, when during the last half of the race he got a sudden burst of speed. It wasn’t a natural burst of speed, but a quick flash and he was halfway across the field before h stopped.
After that, Chris didn’t have much of a normal life in that school. Despite his parents wanting him to transfer and start over, Chris stubbornly remained in the school. He practiced controlling his power every day after school, and refused to join any of the teams. He did join the judo club, mainly to help focus his abilities on a mental and physical level. It helped him control his ability thru high school, and he graduated without any other public incidents. He headed to New York City, hoping to find someone that can help develop his powers to help others.
Sample RP: Chris walked along the streets of New York City, a duffel bag on his shoulder and a black backpack on his back. He looked at the various buildings, a lot taller than the ones he was used to back home. And more crowded too, as he wound his way thru the people to try and get to his destination. He was really looking forward to living in this place, hoping to find someone that could help him with his “problem”.
A noise caught his attention down an alley, and he looked down it curiously. Two men were towering over this little guy, a teenager from what Chris could see. It looked like they were just having a normal talk when one of the men threw a right hook across the teenager’s jaw. Brown hair flew near the teenager’s head, as Chris realized it was a female. The girl screamed, only to be silenced by another hit. Chris looked up and down the street, noticing a lot of people were avoiding the alleyway just because of the screaming. Chris shook his head in disgust, only now doubting his decision to move to the city. He dropped his bag on the ground and stepped into the alleyway.
Chris looked both ways, making sure no one was watching as he gathered energy into his hand. It looked like green energy coming from his hands and turning into a white ball in each hand. He wound up, pitching the energy in his left hand at one of the men. The energy sent the man flying, landing in a dumpster nearby. The second man stopped and looked at the first, puzzled why he all of a sudden went flying. Chris drew the energy from the second ball back into his body, focusing it in his legs as he seemed to flash step right behind the second guy. Without a word Chris threw the man over his shoulder and into another dumpster, making sure it was quick enough to keep the man unbalanced. He didn’t look at the girl as he turned and headed out of the alley, his face bright red at even the slightest glance at her. He bent down to pick up his bags when the girl cried out to him.
“Wait, who are you?”
Chris paused only for a moment before answering, grabbing his duffle and slinging it on his arm. He didn’t even turn around to face the girl, knowing he’d only freeze in place if he made eye contact with her.
“I’m no one. Please be safe.”
And with that he headed back into the crowd, glad that he was able to help the girl.
