The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

They talked about favorite ice creams. His was mint chocolate chip, and hers was chocolate. And she could not do strawberry.
Then Ty asked about her favorite things.
They shared for a while.
He liked Alternative 90s rock music.
Lenna listed off several people and bands that sounded as if they’d come from Spanish-speaking countries, alongside one Ty might actually know. Shakira. Then she rattled off names like Ennio Morricone and John Williams for good measure, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers... from out of left field.
That last one had been sort of random, and she had hesitated before listing it. But she had only discovered them recently, and were they good? Lenna had looked to him for confirmation, and then they had moved on.
He loved animals. She was okay with animals. He did not like poodles. She told him she had never had a pet, but liked dogs.
He talked about his love of exploration. She told him she had not seen hardly any of New York and needed to do some of that.
As far as hobbies went... how far did she want to confess?
”I like watching old Westerns, and Star Wars. And, and. Movies like Casablanca. Old stuff.” She’d told him, confiding a secret. ”We did not get many new movies where I grew up. But what we got was really really good. Confirmed by time itself, and how it withstood it’s passage.
She also told him she liked martial arts and going to the shooting range, because shooting was fun. And technically, those things were true. Also, baseball. Which she didn’t have to tweak at all.
The time, it flew like bullets. The ice cream, it was all gone. And suddenly, the date was about over and he wanted to take her home.
Lenna had mixed feelings about the whole ‘date being over’ thing. Because on the one hand, it was over. Boo! But on the other, all good things had to end. His comment about possible future dates helped with those mixed feelings.
More future dates like today? She leaned against him and bumped him with her shoulder. Then turned and kissed him on the cheek.
”Goof ball. Yes.”
”And I can walk myself home,” She said.
Unless he wanted to drop her off at the apartment SUPER had raided. That would be great.

Fishy
The small talk...made Ty happy. It was nice to just relax and talk with someone his own age, getting to know them without anything like police sirens or gunfire going off in the background. He took in everything she was saying, though he was sorta adverse to guns, he didn't mind that she liked to go to the shooting range. He found himself sort of...enthralled with her. She was just so interesting, and their kissing had probably cemented his feelings a long time ago, but that was neither here nor there.
He blushed again as she kissed his cheek. "Good. I have to say, I'm looking forward to it already," he said sheepishly. He nodded at her response, taking no offense to it whatsoever.
"Okay, but can I at least walk you outside?" he asked, offering her his arm. If she'd accepted, he'd walk her outside, and once outside, he'd give her a goodbye, and then kiss her. This time, there would be nothing gentle about it. His arms would wrap around her waist, and it would last for longer than their other ones had. Then, he'd pull away, wish her goodbye one last time, and be on his way, sporting a very accomplished smirk.
It was fair to say, Lenna was looking forward to a future date as well.
She had something to look forward to. That was a positive change from the being on the run and living moment to moment she’d experienced over the last few days.
“Me too,”she said warmly.
He took no offense at her decision to walk home, on her own. But he wanted to walk her out the door. That was fine. She could agree to that.
Lenna took his arm. In her mind, there was no curiosity about possibles games he were playing or tricks up his sleeve. He just wanted to see her safely... out the... door? Thoughts had failed her as Lenna had learned just how wrong she had been. He had been planning a trick. And it was a good one.
Goof ball... was her only thought.
When he pulled away, he left her nearly breathless. Nearly. But she would not let his plan come to its full fruition. Before he could turn away, she spun, purse smacking into her side as she did so.
”Watch well, Cowboy. I am walking off into the sunset.” She said. Lenna glanced back, and sent a lopsided smile his way. ”Until we meet again. And next time, wear a hat.”
Then she walked off, into the sunset. What was the phrase? He would dislike the act of her leaving him, but would not mind watching her departure one bit?
