Serena absolutely could not imagine how confusing this whole situation must have been for another person. Especially somebody with as advanced a child mind as Evelyn, she'd never stopped to consider what it must have been like to grow up with powers like that, Serena always found it weird to try and get into the head of a person that had grown up with her power. Hers sprung up from trauma, and she was basically already done with puberty at the time so it was just another curve ball.
Serena shook her head. "No, you were not still with them." She knew that Mirror had been single for a few years, and was now dating Rebecca, she had no idea what had happened with Evelyn.
Serena's gaze softened as Evelyn's hardened. "Evelyn I'm sorry if that hurts you, you meet so many interesting people living here, and more when you leave this place and so on. Not everybody has your memory, most of my life is spent dealing with mutants." She admitted.
Another person's memories was not something Serena had every experienced. It was so vivid, so real. It was like some of the dreams Serena had been plagued by for years, only absolutely crystal clear, with none of the haze.
And the moment it started it was over.
Evelyn was on the floor, there were tears. Serena had gone an even paler shade and took a breath before stepping forwards, carefully not touching Evelyn's skin and helping her to her feet, also righting her belongings. "Okay, that was new." She murmured.

Evelyn felt a little shaky as she got to her feet, still too stunned to resist the help. She looked at Serena with a torn expression. ”You saw... you felt that?” This was another new development. Her powers had not advanced to this point in her first life. First the playbacks, now she was sharing them on contact?
”That was, frankly, new to me too. There seem to be more changes this go around I must prepare for.” The alarm was melting off her features, a gradual control replacing it. She had nothing to be alarmed about. She could use this to her advantage as well. Who didn’t want voices in their head?
If she was going to go insane, this time she could take a few people with her.
She was a small child teetering on the brink of a dark path. She wondered if Seeena sensed it. Striped of morality, concepts of right and wrong, she was like a wild unchained creature with a terribly powerful mind. She accepted the papers and started toward her room. She did not say thank you or invite anyone to come, pulling her suitcase beside her. It was an infinite amount of attitude for one small frame.
