Character's real name: Tabitha “Tabby” Scott
Codename/Alias: Omen
Gender: female
Age:20
Nationality/Ethnicity: West Indian
Birthplace: Barbados
Personality: Tabitha is very moody, rude and sarcastic. She doesn’t seem to think before she speaks and most of the time her comments are hurtful and provocative. She’s always the mistress and the other woman, never the wife or the girlfriend. She loves to dance and party, and to cause trouble. Tabitha is very distrustful, and therefore she can’t really be trusted. She’s unpredictable and prone to betrayal. All in all she is mostly out for herself. She’s the type of person you have as an acquaintance; she doesn’t make a good long term friend but is great for a night of fun and danger. Tabitha lives on the wild side, she likes things hot and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Notes (Hobbies, Phobias, Worries, etc.): As said above Tabitha loves to dance. She’s not really afraid of much, in fact she can be over confident in her powers. Tabitha hates being close to people which I suppose can be counted as a phobia of sorts.
Allegiance (Good, Bad, or Neutral):Neutral- she’s not so much bad as she is “following the fight” Wherever the danger is, Tabitha is. She can be a bit of anti hero.
Everyday clothing: Tabitha is into the goth look, she wears leather, and lots of it.
Uniform (Optional. Required if eventuall noy becoming part of the X-Men): she kicks but no matter what she wears.
Pajamas: Shannon sleeps au natural.
Hair color and style: Her hair is short and jet black, it’s very silky and very shiny. She always wears it out.
Eye color: Her irises are black. Her eyes turn completely black when she uses her powers.
Height: Tabitha stands about 5'5 but is always wearing high heels.
Build: Tabitha is all about T&A, she just wouldn’t be the same without it.
Scars: none
Tattoos: she has SEXY written on the small of her back, wrapped in barbwire and surrounded by blooming roses
Piercings: her ears and nose.
Description of ability(ies): Tabitha’s ability gives her dark blue skin and retractable horns. She can control dark matter( what is believed to be found in space), creating fields where no light can survive or making it solid to be used as a weapon. Because of her power she can see in darkness and withstand extremely cold temperatures.
Cold Dark matter or CDM is simply what she uses simply to block out light.
Hot Dark Matter (HDM) which moves faster and exerts more pressure is what she uses to attack.
Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies): Bright light and heat hurts her eyes and can render her blind for a while. Her shields sometimes don’t last very long or don’t happen at all. She generates her own darkness so it takes energy to do so. Solid darkness or HDM takes more energy to emit. She can’t control shadows or other people’s darkness.
Fighting style (if any): Tabitha is all about street fighting, but she’s good at thinking on her feet.
History of your character: When she was born her scared parents hid her from the world, because she came out with blue skin and tiny little horns. As she grew older they took her to priests in hopes that they could cure her, she lived hearing constantly about how she was...sick. Her parents couldn’t keep her under wraps for long especially when her actual powers began to surface. The dark clouds proved too much for her parents and they began to show their shame. She was deeply hurt by this and began to act out. Her parents sent her to live with her aunt and uncle in Florida where she continued to be and hang out with delinquents. She learned how to fight and defend herself and also how to attack other people. Her guardians found her hard to control and eventually tried to send her to Xaviers but she didn’t end up where she should have.
Sample RP:
“I’d like to know what you’re gonna do about it old man.” Tabitha grinned at her uncle who was obviously afraid of her. Yet he stood, all of his short stocky self, firmly in front of her, anger in his eyes.
“This is my house and you will abide by my rules.”
“Mhm..or else you’ll do what?”
“I will call the cops. I’m not afraid of you, Tabitha.”
“Really? Then fight me yourself.” Tabitha laughed and lashed out with her leg, hitting her uncle in the stomach. He fell back and hit the ground, out of breath. In the background Tabitha’s aunt screamed from where she’d been standing.
Her uncle looked up at her hurt and still angry. Tabitha simply kept a smirk on her face. “Scared yet, old man?”
“Tabitha..we’ve done so much for you...how can you do this to us?”
“Excuse me? Holding it over my head, reminding me that I’m in your debt every day doesn’t do me any good. Hell, you’re just as bad as everyone else, you think I’m a freak...you think you’re better than me.”
“That’s not true, Tabitha. You just need to stop hurting people.”
“Hell, I’ll hurt whomever I want. They have it coming to them I am letting them know that Mutants will not be mistreated. By any means necessary.”
Her uncle weakly shook his head. “Tabitha...you don’t understand. Not everyone is against you.”
“Enough are, and you’re included. I’m not supposed to be mistreated just because of how I look. I will not be mistreated, do you hear me?” she knelt and whispered hotly in his ears. “You seem to think I’m stupid, and I can’t say I feel otherwise about you, so I’m going to talk to you slowly so you can understand.” He seemed to be trembling under the pressure of her very presence. “You’re afraid of me, not the other way around. I’m strong you’re weak and it’d best suit you to just leave me alone. You won’t ever understand my fight or my struggle and that’s fine as long as you don’t stand in my way-“ she looked up abruptly. Her aunt hadn’t hung up the phone completely and the dial tone rang through into the still air.
Tabitha almost hissed and lunged like a wild cat at the old woman huddled in the corner but a shot rang out when she made her move and she turned to the door. It had been busted down and in her rage she hadn’t heard it. Police officers and swat team members stood at the door holding their weapon’s high.
“Put your hands over your head and-“ They hardly had time to finish. Tabitha’s eyes darkened and her palms were wrapped in darkness. She sent darkbolts at the cop who shot at her and knocked him hard back into his colleagues. The shots ran out once more as they advanced. Using all her concentration and a great deal of strength, Tabitha raised a sphere of darkness to block the shots, they bounced off and she gave a mighty thrust to extend it, bashing into the patrol officers and knocking those hit hard enough unconscious. She fled to the back of the house, they were in pursuit of her.
Emitting a cloak of darkness to hide herself, Tabitha hid in the shadows until she was announced escaped. She waited for the police and ambulances to leave...
And then she fled.
