Aoi had awoken to find herself at the zoo several days prior. She had considered trying to escape and had indeed tried to do so a few times. However she had been prevented each time by staff. She considered escaping by the trainer access point but her bear paws had been unable to grasp the handles or the lock on the other side of the door.
The bear however was unhappy about the limited area to roam and that she had been kept away from the other Polar Bear's for quarantine, but their was so much fish and the wonderful, almost frozen water and the light snow helped quell it's unease. Aoi for her part quickly realized that here, she did not have to worry about the bear because the only other things to hurt were other bear's which The Bear seemed uninterested in doing. Aura and the Bear also enjoyed other things such as the tire she could play with in the water and even scaring a kid by pressing her face at the glass under the water.
After a few days however Aoi realized the issue with living as the Bear. For one she had heard the zoo staff talking about shipping the new female to London to try and mater her with a Bear they had. Two she had realized the Mansion and her family were likely quite worried, and so she changed back just after she knew the staff would come in to clean and move her back to the feeding cage to let the other Bears have the enclosure, and managed to slip out into the employee hall.
She was small and managed to make it down several halls before almost encountering a maintenance man. Not wanting to get in trouble she found a door which opened right up, likely do the neglect of a late night staffer and closed it behind her. Turning she saw a horse like snout with stripes and behind her she heard a sound of distress behind her. She did not need to know what a poor position this was.
The obviously annoyed Zebra reared and knocked Aoi to the ground. The Zebra cocky and protective took a step back as Aoi felt the white fur cover her and her face change into a snout. Within moments she had gained almost eight hundred pounds and the Zebra had clearly decided the other end of the enclosure was better suited. The bear considered the unusual prey now feeling hungry, it was bigger then it liked.

Zoe was working late. Not that she was particularly happy about it, but unfortunately that tended to happen when people took vacations. And Zoe couldn’t really complain too much because the same thing happened when she took time off.
That didn’t mean that Zoe was particularly happy about having to work late. Especially since at this time of night there was really not much for her to do.
All of a sudden, Zoe heard a commotion coming from the zebra enclosure. Zoe looked over toward the door outside, concern on her face. But she wasn’t close enough to understand what they were saying. Plus the closed door probably would have made it difficult for Zoe to make out what they were saying, anyway.
Expecting the animals to calm down, Zoe turned back to the small amount of paperwork she actually had to do. But a minute later, Zoe could still hear the zebras, even louder and more panicked that earlier. A frown now joining the concerned look on her face, Zoe stood and made her way to the door that would lead her to where the zebras were.
And the moment she stepped outside, Zoe stopped dead.
”Danger! Danger!” “Run!” “Where do we go?”
That was not normal, she had never heard the zebras panicked like this. But it didn’t take much for Zoe to realize why they were frightened because a moment later she saw a polar bear. Zoe’s eyes widened. She knew that there were polar bears at the zoo, she’d even seen them, but what the hell was one doing near her zebras?
