Personality: Hitomi is a clash of two worlds having been reared in a home with both Japanese and American parents. She is very respectful of those who she feels have earned her respect, but she can be quick to judge and slow to forget initial impressions. Overall she is laid back but she has a strong bad girl streak that sometimes gets her in trouble.

Notes: Hitomi is fond of the evening and often will spend most of her time out staring at the stars.

Description of ability: The eyes have it. Hitomi can see to the horizon as clearly as most people can see to their hands. Her eyes work according to how far she needs to see most of the time.
Cons of ability: When she first wakes up and is disoriented it takes her awhile to grasp control of her powers and understand what she is seeing. Sometimes she'll be looking at her ceiling magnified 1000X and sometimes everything will look what is normal to everyone else. If she spends too much time using her powers she tends to get near blinding migraines.
Fighting style (if any): Street fighting. She'll fight dirty whenever she has to and will not hesitate to do what is nessesary to keep herself alive.

History of your character: She was born in Japan. Her father, American, had met her mother there and she spent the first 10 year of her life living amongst the culture. Because her family lived on base Hitomi was occasionally looked down upon as not being truly Japanese. It was a relief when they moved to the states, her father taking a position at Fort Lewis in Washington state. Hitomi learned to be a city brat, heading to Olympia and Seattle whenever she could get away. Her younger sister Miki has shown no hints of mutant abilities and Hitomi has not told her parents about her own.
Hitomi has been going to college for the past two years, living away from home and her family. She is very slow to make friends because she is guarded against the thought that she will be shunned if she admits all of who she is

She had a LOT of blah blah angsty blah to deal with and work through and since I can't even get past my own angst....

So he'll just have to make friends with a new half Japanese short and skinny girl full of attitude.

Of course I miss you, you silly git. And she had the hutzpah, as well as the power, to tame the old Demon...
