Kristoph was rarely in a stoic silence but when he was, it was deafening to people around him. The man kneeled down, checking the pulse of the waitress who had kicked up such a fuss. She was damn near ready to hurt their latest field agent. Thankfully Kristoph was experienced enough to know when a situation was about to go south and this definitely was going to go south. Honestly they would probably had a skewered power booster if it wasn’t for him.
Whether or not Svetlana thought that was a good or bad thing wasn’t clarified, but Kristoph wasn’t going to waste time in investigating. Instead he took his time securing the unconscious telekinetic and kept her propped up against the wall. She just needed a nice, long nap.
With her squared away, the viking turned his eyes back to the blonde and inquired if she were harmed. Funny, it almost sounded sincere. That was the thing about Kristoph, most figured he was a monster because of the work he did, but when it came to field agents and especially those he trained, the man actually did give two sh*ts about them.
>>"Nah...Thanks."
He nodded. So long as the blonde was okay, then they could move along. As he stayed in the alley, he peered out around the corner, waiting for their nondescript, black 2017 Suburban to come rolling down the street. Dispatch had gotten back to him that they were only five minutes away. Considering that they had an Alpha-Target in tow, that meant it would probably be here within seconds. SUPER didn’t waste time when it came to psychics.
Meanwhile, Kristoph straightened up and grinned at his newest recruit. ”Not bad, blondie. We’ll make a field agent out of you soon enough.”

And just like that, they were gone. Telekinetic captured, sedated, and kidnapped to be turned into a SUPER agent, by force or by coercion. Sveta felt sick. Kristoph could probably see she was rattled when he asked if she was okay, but she was not about to give him the satisfaction of admitting it. Physically, she was fine, at least.
>>”Not bad, blondie. We’ll make a field agent out of you soon enough.”
"Coulda been worse" she shrugged.
It could always have been worse.
