Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

ATTENTION MRO!

Our mutant characters are living in a mutant-saturated world right now, which is a bit of an issue since they’re supposed to be the minority. In order to solve this issue, the mod team has come up with a solution.

We are allowing each player to apply for one (1) FREE human character... starting now!

What does this mean?

Starting now, you are free to apply for a new character, provided that they are human. Here are the conditions:

This character will not influence post count. You may apply for this character without meeting the posting requirements for a new character, and their posts will not count toward gaining other characters.
This character must be a human, and they cannot gain powers later on. They will not be able to earn a power growth.
The limit is one per player.

How to apply:

Fill in an application as usual and send it into the mod mail with the subject “Free Human Character: NAME”. Human character apps will be second priority in the mod mail (first being powered/new characters), so don’t panic if your email isn’t answered right away.

Careful!

Remember, even if adding this character won’t directly affect your post count, more characters still split your time and add responsibility. Please be sure that you can handle adding another character before doing so.
