MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

PREMISE
A group of criminals have tried to organize a criminal network to take down mutant reputations, the growing Sanctuary reputation, remove Sanctuary itself, and take over Brooklyn.

THE PLAN
Haven's Inner Echelon has begun its discussion here.
A number of paired-character (2 characters from Haven) threads, each targeting various locations and handling their goal as befits characters and mission. This allows an overall larger mission to be handled by various groups in precise threads.
OUTCOME
The criminal network is stopped and their harassment against Sanctuary, Brooklyn, and influence in the city ends. Haven characters "team build" as couples. Haven has its first city-impacting combat (physical, social, etc.) mission.
This could also suggest a slight power vacuum in the city that a newly formed criminal organization (Syndicate?) could take advantage of.
The time has come to stop this would-be criminal organization from striking Sanctuary, threatening its neighborhood, and forming a stranglehold on the businesses and mutants of the areas.
"Chief", you may want to get involved to bring Chief into the faction too?
EXPECTATION
You can do solo threads or paired threads to fulfill this plot. You can do more than one but at least one is required for this faction activity unless you're inactive / absent for a planned vacation / life happens. i.e. Please participate in at least one thread.
THREAD CONTENT
This can vary as you wish between physical, combat, social, or some combination. The idea is that the group is being broken up by stopping their network, taking out their safehouses, and then running them out. If violence is necessary than stopping them is more important than you getting hurt. This means one of these criminal under belly types may get killed by a PC.
Some ideas:
Destroy a warehouse holding ammunition
Chat up dock workers to get them to stop supporting the group, helping their shipments through
Fight a mutant that's helping the organization
Save mutants being trapped, held, or killed by the organization
Pick up information from a relay information center that's posing as a computer support call center. Mentioned as idea for Noel
Get through the legitimate business storefront to find the back room poker game, hidden bar, center of command, etc.
