It is usually a little scruffy but styled that way more than naturally left that way. It is shoulder length, normally left loose, except for one he is working out or fighting. It is then tied up into a ponytail. Other features: Even though not a mutation Karrl’s eyes are notable. They seem to have a faint haunting glow. A lot of people find his eyes either unnerving or alluring.
Everyday clothing style: His clothing style is alternative, usually wearing a black mostly, however splashes in whites and reds. Often just wearing jeans and a t-shirt, with a trench-coat over the top.
Uniform: Karrl wears a white helmet that covers his entire head, and was personally crafted to fit Karrl face. It is shaped like a withered skull. The mask itself is quite haunting even intimidating to look at making him seem like the grim reaper. Along with that he wears a reinforced bodysuit, black in colour, with the raised parts, where the armour is, being white. Along with that he wears a white belt, with a red skull on it, white gloves, and boots. Over the top is a white trench-coat. The armour itself is made of Kevlar. This uninform was given to him by Zeus, when he became his personal hitman, and gained the name Charon.
Sleepwear: He usually wears a pair of boxers to bed. Miscellaneous clothing: He wears a silver cross ring around his neck, the last gift his father gave him before he died. Character Personality: Karrl is smart, both book and street, as well as extremely charming, when he needs to be. Alongside that he is strong willed, maybe even a little pig-headed. He is laid back. It takes a lot to shake him, this is mainly to do with that fact he has seen a lot in his young life and it would take something special for him to get rattled. He is also very loyal, once he sees someone as worth his time, considers them a friend or, as rare as it is, respects someone he will have their back, and will do what it takes to get the job done whether that is protecting them, or fulfilling a request these people have asked.
This young man is a weird one in some respects, he is on the surface, laid back, friendly and generally a good laugh, he is hard working, down to earth and has a keen mind. On the surface, and on paper he might considered perfect, however that is far from the truth. He is devious, cunning, slightly depraved, immoral, untrusting, disrespectful, in a subtle way, and standoffish. Once you get past his charming smile, sweet words and drool worthy looks a lot of people do not like what they see.
However, this is not because he is what some people would call evil, but it is because he is broken. Having learned hard lessons from a young age, he does not like many people trust even less and it is a cold day in hell when he actually respects someone. If Karrl tells someone he respects them they know they have a loyal friend until the day he, or they die. Despite his deep imperfections he is loyal to those he sees as worthy of being loyal to.
Hobbies/ Interests: Cars, Bikes, Engines, Fighting, Fantasy and Sci-Fi novels (In particular David Eddings and L Ron Hubbard) and Free Running. Job or part time job and description: No Job For the Moment Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Karrl has tried to make a clean break of it breaking away from the Olympians, the gang of mutant he used to belong to. His main concern is his past catching up with him. Karrl himself does not really have that many fears, not too keen on heights unless he is jumping from a plane. Special talents: Karrl has a couple of talents, his is a skilled motor mechanic, as well as trained in mixed martial arts. Along with that he is fluent in German. He also has a college level education in business and economics. Morality Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Karrl himself is neutral to be honest, he’s not a bad guys but far from a goody two shoes. He is rebellious and strong willed, and not too keen on authority. Mutations Mutation description: Peak Human Strength, Endurance and Durability: Karrl’s physical capabilities are at peak human, mainly his strength, endurance and durability. He can work at full capability for three hours before needing a break. He can go eleven days without sleep, however, he is still subject to psychological and physical issues this can bring to any human. However, he will only start feeling the effects after five days without sleep.
He can survive one week without water and three weeks without food. Karrl can pull or push up to 28,500 pounds, and lift overhead 1,100 pounds. He can strike at 1,300 pounds per square inch enough to break through five inches of hardened wood or crack solid concrete without damaging himself.
Karrl can fall from a third storey building without breaking anything, but depending on what he lands on it could leave a few cuts and bruises. He can withstand strikes from a regular human without even leaving a mark, and even take on someone who has trained in martial arts, or a trained boxer, without much issue. Strengths: Karrl is stronger, tougher and more resilient than the average human. He is able to go at maximum output for a lot longer than most humans. Also he can fight harder and keep going without food water and sleep for periods some people might consider an insanely long time. Weaknesses and Limitations: Karrl is strong, fast and tough, however, even with his powers he is only human. What he can do is nothing, certain, humans cannot do. Yes, he is on par with the strongest man alive, as well as a walking brick house, but he can easily be overpowered by someone was superhuman strength. Even some humans can outrun him since his speed, reflexes and agility are, even though impressive, are not even peak human.
Physical Abilities General Physical Capabilities: Karrl’s strength, endurance and durability are peak human. However, his speed, reflexes and agility, even though not peak human are impressive in of themselves. They are at the same level as a seasoned free runner. Fighting Style: Karrl’s fighting style is MMA, namely Muay Thai Kick Boxing and Brazilian Jujitsu. Fighting Style Pros/Cons: The strengths of his fighting style is that he has a balance of strikes, locks, ground work and throws. However, his fighting style is close to mid ranged at best and no suited for long ranged combat. In a close quarter situation he is as deadly as they come, but keeping enough distance between the two of them and his opponent will have the upper hand. History Of Your Character Karl grew up in a slum called Southall, and suffered at the hands of racism from an early age. This was before he even found out his was a mutant. The place he grew up in was majorly Indian and Somalin people. So, someone of his mixed heritage was not exactly looked upon to kindly by the people who even gave him a second glance. There were people who looked after him, namely a local biker gang. This not just because they felt sorry for him, but because they knew Karrl through his father. They respected his father because, not only was he a good and strong man, but because of his skills as a mechanic. His father ran his own Garage, most of his business was with this biker gang, and he gave them special rates, not out of fear, nor did they charge him for protection. It was because his late wife had family in this gang, along with their regular custom. It was because of this as well as seeing that his father needed a hand, that, when he was old enough he started to learn how to fix cars and bikes. However, he soon found a love for mechanics. This love also included cars, and more particularly bikes, and he continued to pursue his interest, and by the age of sixteen he had built his own custom bike. School life was not exactly pretty. He was constantly bullied because of the racial differences. The teachers were not much better, they may not have bullied him but they turned a blind eye most of the time. His father found out about this but instead of dealing it in a rational way, he took Karrl to meet someone a mixed martial artist he knew from his childhood. Karrl’s father got his to train Karrl so he could protect himself. Karrl was tough, fast and strong for his age and soon found he had a knack for it. After a while, the bullies found out that Karrl was no push over. Most of them stopped, after a few beating. However, there were exceptions. Growing up, he did not spend his days normally. He was in school, which was probably the most normal thing he did. When he was not at school he was in the garage with his father or on the training mat. In what little spare time he had he was with the biker gang who, in a pub called the Three Bolts. The owners never allowed him to have beer, knowing his age, but the bikers did slip him a pint from time to time. He could often be found scrapping with some of the bikers, for fun, mainly his older cousins Jake and Daniel, or playing pool. They almost saw him as their mascot, but a tough little sod, so there was respect there. However, at the age of sixteen, some of the women took it upon themselves to teach him things outside of bikes and fighting, another thing he seemed to have a knack for. By the age of sixteen he had a lot going for him. He was well educated, for someone from the slums. Also, he had pursued his mix martial arts and had won several UK and European titles. He had even come third place in an Asian tournament as well. He had gained some fame, being interviewed for some specialist magazines. He even had fans within the martial arts world. One interview called the English Tony Jaa. His father had said, if he went to college and trained to get a professional licence, he would, when his father retired, hand him the garage. However, life soon changed for the worse.
There had been a few bullies who had not stopped fighting with him, but could not defeat him, not matter how many ganged up on him. However, they decided to try a new avenue. They hunted his father down. Now, his father was a tough old man, but there were too many of them, and so they beat him up, badly. As the beating continued they were too far and killed him. Karrl walked in to his beaten father and the last words his old man said was who had done this, before he died in Karrl’s arms. The typical response happened and Karrl wept and vowed vengeance, but something happened, a voice in the back of his head appeared and told Karrl to kill. Suddenly his body was on fire, with the rage coursing through him he did not remember much after that. He woke up covered in blood and the bodies of the fifteen kids who had killed his father laying around him. Freaking out Karrl did not know who to do until one of the members of a group he knew off approached him. He was not majorly familiar with them since this man’s gang were not on friendly terms with the gang he hung out with. This man called himself Zeus, and ran with the Olympians in Acton. It turned out this gang was friends with his father not just because he was a mechanic, but because, his father had been a mutant. Zeus offered to bring him in and train him, in return for his services. Karrl accepted and the bodies that Karrl had made were gone. Over the following two years Karrl trained himself. Karrl had a reputation for being good at dealing with people in a finite way, and was dubbed Charon, after the Ferryman from Greek Mythology. Soon Karrl became Zeus’ personal hitman, if he wanted someone dead Karrl killed them.
Outside of the gang life and working at his father’s shop he also, as a request from his father, which he had asked the day Karrl had graduated from secondary school, was to continue with his education. Karrl’s father had wanted a better life for his son than he had, and wanted Karrl not only to be street smart but book smart as well. So, continuing with his education, Karrl took formal training in motor mechanics, as well as business and economics. This was to be more skilled at running his late father garage. He currently has an A Level, all passing with high grade, in all three subjects. He was planning on continuing his education into higher levels, using the money he got from the garage and his contracts with the Olympians. He has a comfortable amount in his saving for this purpose. However, at the age of eighteen, life turned for him again. He had racked up a good amount of savings from revenue from the garage as well as money he had earned performing duties for the Olympians. However, the police had brought in enough evidence against the Olympians to deal with them, all but Karrl himself, because there was not record of him being with the gang. Outside of being tasked with certain missions, he continued with his school work as well as just working in the garage. However, with the Olympians gone he still needed more training, and did not know what to do, so, after searching he found out about Xavier’s. He needed a fresh start, and a way to try and avoid any links to the Olympians. If the police found out who he was it would mean the end of him. So, after handing management of the garage to one of the other employees, he took some of his savings and bought a ticket to the US. Shortly after arriving he started to make his was to Xavier’s but what would happen when he arrived? Charon, or as he now called himself, Infernal, so to hide who he truly was, wanted to know a world where he didn’t need to fight to survive, or he was not ordered to kill. The engine did not cut off, but no one got out, at least for a brief period of time. However, after that a young man stepped out, garbed in a pair of Demin jeans, and a red t-shirt, with a trench-coat slung over one shoulder. In his free hand, there was a duffle bag, and on his face was a small amount of sweat and a pair of dime store sunglass. He looked around for a moment before he heard, “Hey buddy, you going to pay or what. Don’t make me get out of their taxi.” Karrl did not look over, at least the moment. He put down his bag and reached into the back pocket of his jeans before pulling out his wallet and paying the man.
However, after he had paid, “Mate, if you’d gotten out of that taxi it would be the last thing you ever did.” With that he looked over his shoulder lowering his sunglasses a little to look him in the eye, “Now f**k off before you lose more than a tip.” With that taxi driver sped off realizing that this young man might not be someone to mess with. The young man smirked before pushing up his sunglasses again, “Excellent choice, you’re smarter than you look” With that he picked up his duffle bag and walked over to the entrance. Now, a normal person would just have rung the doorbell, but this young man was not normal, and not just because he was a mutant.
He judged the size of the gate before he took a step back throwing his duffle bag, and trench-coat, over the gate and took a running head start. It looked like he was about to run into the wall but right at the last moment he jumped and sprung off said wall before catching hold of the top of the gate. As soon as his hands touched the metal he vaulted over and landed into a roll. He smoothly got to his feet and looked around, “Well, that was fun, might have to do that again some time.” He chuckled to himself before picking up his bag and trench-coat, slinging the coat over his shoulder once more. With that he headed for the door but before he reached it someone came out, however all he did was stop and smile, before, “Hey, the name’s Karrl, I here you’ve got a vacancy.”
