Mankind has had it's chance to repent... The world bows to sin and chaos... In order to overcome the darkness, sometimes extreme measures must be taken.
Max Rosewood was killed by an oncoming car, his story should have ended. But someone had other plans for the boy.
Max awoke a year later, alive and a little less than well. Showing up in an alley naked, scared, and with no memory of the last year Max has many questions and it's time for answers.
THE SINS OF MAN
It all starts with one man.
A mysterious figure known only by few as Lazarus has a very unique mutation. His body has created what he calls "seeds of life", tiny capsules of pure life energy, seven in total. These seeds can be used to revive a deceased mutant one time by placing them in the mouth of the corpse.
He has raised a group of mutants and labeled them The Harbingers. When one dies he simply collects the seed and finds a new deceased mutant to take on the mantle.
The Harbingers:
A secret group of mutants ran by Vincent who perform varies opts to bring down those that Vincent sees as corrupted and controlled by sin. The operatives work as a team and do indivual missions. They specialize in assassinations and kidnappings, but have been known to delve into other methods to solve their objectives. Why kill a CEO when you can simply steal all he has and leave him with nothing?
The Sins: Wrath- Elastic Force fields. Able to stop and bounce back projectiles. Lust-pharmone manipulation. Can expel pharmones that cause uncontrollable attraction Sloth-Hyper metabolism- a massive man that can instantly convert fat to muscle in order to have superhuman strength speed and endurance Greed- Steal. Able to teleport objects weighing under 20 pounds within eyesight into his hands. Gluttony- matter eater- Man with no mouth. His hands have mouths that can chew any material and consume it.
Pride and Envy are currently unused.
THE PLOT
The Sins of Man is a plot that will revolve around the Harbingers. Max is going back to Virginia in search of answers to his resurrection and in the course may or may not uncover the fact that he was brought back by Lazarus to be a member of the Harbingers.
This organization will follow Max back to New York and attempt to capture, convert, or eliminate him if he will not serve their purpose.
More of a cult than anything else this plot can be expected to have crazy zealot speeches, shades of grey morals and plenty of chances for run ins with these baddies.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
-Max can't go it alone. He needs friends and those friends can interact with the Harbingers as they work to mess with our friendly neighborhood dancer

Perhaps we could come up with something along the lines of them having been friends for a while then lost contact for a bit and then they come across each other again and are like "HEY long time no see!" kind of thing

Everyday clothing style: Vincent usually wears a suit and can be seen wearing a silver cross around his neck. When working as Lazarus he wears a black clock and a mask that bears the appearance of Jesus's face with the crown of thorns. He usually carries a bible.
Character
Personality: Pastor Vincent Winters is a man with immense charm. He is known around his congregation for his kindness and his strict sermons on repentance. Behind his simple facade however is a cold calculating man. He believes that humanity is beyond repentance and that mutants exist in order to cleanse the world of those who are rules by sin.
He isn't a man to be on the front lines. Vincent is a puppet master, made easier by his mutation. He meets with his people only in secret and his security is not notch thanks to his immense wealth.
To talk to him you might find yourself feeling the need to kneel down and pray after hearing him speak of God's love, just be sure you keep on eye on him when you leave your back exposed. Job or part time job and description: Pastor of "The Second Life" mega church, secret leader of "The Harbingers" Fears/ phobias/ concerns: exposure and doubt Special talents: Incredible inteligence.
Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Lawful Bad- Vincent believes he is doing God's will. He believes he is working for the greater good of the world. If that means slicing some throats, kidnapping, extortion, or any of the like he takes comfort in knowing that he is forgiven in his service.
Mutations
Mutation description:
Seed of Life- Vincent's body produces tiny capsules of pure life energy. These seeds as he calls them are stored in his body, up to a maximum of seven. When his mutation surfaced he had all seven seeds and his body has produced no more since then. At will Vincent can expel a seed from his mouth or consume a seed that is out in the world.
These seeds can be placed inside the mouths of corpses. The body must belong to a mutant as for some reason unknown to Vincent the seed must interact with an x gene. The energy stored in the seed heals the body of all damage done to it and revives the dead mutant. At any given time Vincent can have a maximum of seven people revived by his power.
Once the seed has used its power on the mutant it becomes dormant, residing inside the mutants body. The seed begins to regain it's power little by little as it syphon life energy out of the host body. This lost energy is negligible and does not harm the host. A seed requires one year to fully recharge and if a host is killed before the seed has time to recharge the seed will absorb as much energy as it can from the body in order to replenish itself, leaving the body decrepit.
The seed can only revive the same mutant once. The process of reviving the mutant makes them considered a "host body" and the seeds cannot revive a body once that has happened meaning if you are revived by the seed once that's the only chance you get at living agin.
Those who host the seeds might notice a small side effect. The process of reviving the mind has been known to create a phenomenon where the hosts ID, or subconscious mind becomes more active. This effect manifests in each person in a different way, whether a voice talking to them, uncontrollable urges, visions, or a combination of any. This makes hosts slightly erratic at times, and more susceptible to primal desires. Strengths: able to revive the dead. Create minions. Weaknesses and Limitations: Vincent must be able to place the seed inside the corpses mouth, so he must have access to the body.
He can only have seven people revived at any time. If one of his seed bearers dies he must physically go reclaim the seed from the body, Which will be lying inside the body beside the heart.
He can only revive someone once.

History Of Your Character Vincent Winters was born in Kentucky to a pastor and his loving wife. Vicente grew up in church, looking up to his father. That was until his father got cancer when Vincent was seventeen. He prayed and prayed but his father passed after a few short months.
Around the same time Vincent woke up in the middle of the night to find himself coughing. He spit out seven small glowing seeds and was unsure what they were. He saw a vision appear before him and in it he heard a voice, much like his father's telling him about his gift. Whether this vision was a religious sight or simply Vincent's life seed side effects working on him didn't matter to the boy.
His father had passed because he was human, Vincent was not. The world was full of vile terrible evils and as he discovered other mutants he realized that this was his duty. He was to rid the world of this evil and cleanse it. The world must be changed.
He founded his church, "The Second Life" church and found immediate success. His church grew and grew and eventually Vincent was even given his own televangelist show. With a solid following and healthy tithing from his church he sought out the obituaries for mutants.
"The Harbingers" were founded in secret by Vincent. Seven indivuals selected and brought back from the dead to slay the evils of the world. He gave his followers the names of the seven deadly sins, for his followers would have to commit hanous acts in order to achieve the results he needed.

The Sins: Wrath- thin man with blazing red hair. He is prone to angry outbursts. Mutation: Elastic Force fields. Wrath can create force fields out of thin air within 60 feet of him. They are red and partially transparent. The forecfields have a rubbery structure meaning they are able to stop and bounce back projectiles.
Lust-Woman blonde.Mutation:pharmone manipulation. Can expel pharmones that cause uncontrollable attraction. Anyone within range regardless of sexual orientation finds themselves drawn to her and desiring to please her.
Sloth- large man, military haircut. Can be seen eating at most time.Mutation: Hyper metabolism- a massive man that can instantly convert fat to muscle in order to have superhuman strength speed and endurance. He goes from huge and flabby to built like a body builder. Burns calories quick and afterwards is left frail and thin.
Greed- female, white hair. Mutation: Steal. Able to teleport objects weighing under 20 pounds within eyesight into her hands. This includes objects being held.
Gluttony- Man, thin and lanky. Mutation: matter eater- Man with no mouth. His hands have mouths that can chew any material and consume it.
