MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. Apologies for keeping people in the dark about this but...the Syndicate now has a leader with AV!Jorge.
The Alt-Verse evil group will be called The Syndicate and will be more like The Order, with an organized crime family aspect added to their mutant supremacy intentions. Mutants come first. There will be drug production, racketeering, prostitution, overdue library books, you name the vice and we distribute, advertise, and produce it! If you're interested, and want to sit at the cool kids table, why not the Syndicate?
AltRagnarok members will have "membership front" access to AltHaven, allowing them to enjoy the spoils of foolish humans while also encouraging their foolish vices. Hook a human on a drug, then enjoy making money off of him while selling it from AltRag factories.
Basically, AltRagnarok and AltHaven are in bed together.

Here's the bit I wrote up for Haven and Devon's company Hadden's Havens for the AltVerse. This is from my AltDevon bio posted here.
Hadden’s Havens and Haven Faction
Devon’s business and the Haven organization exist to exploit humans, provide political and celebratory contacts for Devon, and make money for Devon. He clearly likes helping mutants and providing a place for them to escape/learn, but only in that it gives him more contacts, more friends, and protection. He has little use for humans without power or money, and the same came be true for almost all mutants.
The Haven faction does not admit activists or promising intellectuals, only celebrities, athletes, and well connected politicians. It is a place of vice and social climbing while mutants manipulate and rule from above, using their influence to move the human flock as they see fit. Humans are exploited for their money or connections while also encouraging them to get hooked on Ragnarok drugs, compromise knowledge of political activity, or simply find themselves amusing tools of the Inner Echelon.
Right now, if you have an accepted AV character, feel free to RP with them in the 'Alternate Verse' section of the forum. No crossovers will happen until July 1st.
This Friday-ish, we'll be releasing all of you crazies on each other. It was brought up in the cbox that some people might not want to post a solo about your character meeting itself. So we kicked around the idea of double dutch meetups.
If you want your character to meet their AV counterpart, but don't want to go alone, post here and we'll try to help facilitate matching people up as they come in. Based on my Thirsty thread with Noel, which I apologize has run long due to my delay, I wanted to note that Devon would be alerting individuals about the concern of dopplegangers from the AV side.
HAVEN
Haven members would be alerted that Other Devon presumably had access to his apartment for at least a couple days. He'd note that this other world has a far-less reputable or even mutant-aiding version of Haven as it's far more about profit and exploitation. He'd describe Other Devon for his unfortunate alcoholism, clear manipulation, and general chaotic behavior. MRO Devon encourages all to use random passwords and cyphers and nothing from memory / the past that the doppleganger might know. All passwords into homes, meeting rooms, CLASS, etc. have been reset and would require something to be set up with the Google Authenticator app. (Look it up, good to use!)
SANCTUARY
Sanctuary is given a warning as well about a Devon doppleganger but also that it could see doppleganger visitors from the other world. Optimally new regulation on the rift will allow for monitoring this movement. Identification checks (with secret word) are encouraged at Sanctuary to access private materials, rooms, etc.
MANSION / X-MEN
Devon would notify the Mansion and X-Men that a Devon doppleganger was active, though presumably did not visit the mansion by his intel. He'd warn them about other dopplegangers visiting from the rift, the differences possible, etc.
We will be retiring the AV boards soon(tm) as plots start to wrap up.
