Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Howdy all!

Shortly, Roach will wait until the X-Men are out for a mission, and attack the mansion!

This will involve explosions, destruction of property, fridge raiding, and a thread between Shelby and Roach!

You are all welcome to join in the fun, if you are a mansion resident who wouldn't reasonably be on said mission!

The brunt of the attack will be on a wing near the evacuation zone for fire drills. A fire alarm will be triggered, and a horde of cockroaches will descend on that wing, generally biting and annoying anyone there, and causing a scene. Meanwhile, Roach will be wandering in to rescue a smart cockroach kidnapped by Shelby, and likely make himself a sandwich.

This will be a very public happening; the front gate will be destroyed, along with a couple walls. Let's call it renovation!

Let me know if you want to be somehow involved here, but otherwise, it will be a largely violence free thread, and a very notable event!
