The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tyson, now feral and escaped from the institute, is living off the wildlife in one of the local parks, no doubt some people will be looking for him, while others may just stumble upon him...
Hey there. I'm imagining Tempest jogs through Central Park most days now. Any particular intention for the thread you got started? Not sure what your goals/intentions are for Wolf long term so I figured I'd ask!
Wolf has had a hard time adjusting to his new form and controlling his animal instincts, and has been fighting them since he got them, which has caused issues with his mental health, finally culminating in him losing it when his mutation added a tail to the mix. Right now he's gone somewhat feral, right now I'm seeing where it goes, eventually he'll regain his senses, but it depends on how people interact with him and wither they strike the right note to bring him out of it.
I don't think people understand how stressful it is to explain what's going through your head when you don't even understand it yourself. Wolf
Devon's about to finish his degree in psychology and has his own mental issues he's challenged by, works through, and deals with, also tempered with a natural/wild element of influencing the weather. It sounds like the two could find some ground to relate to. What do you think?
It's more of a question of wither Devon can break through to Tyson's humanity, right now he would be dealing with a wild animal. His weather powers would be useful in keeping him from attacking or running so he could work on getting through to him, but he would have to figure out that Tyson has that humanity in him, and a way to reach it. Tyson was human until his father activated him mutation and he has been going through stages of grief dealing with the lose of his normal life and humanity, mixed with being taken over by animal instinct, plagued by nightmares of devolving into a monstrous killing machine, guilt over having actually attacked and mauled people, and being overwhelmed by his enhanced senses. He has essentially given into depression and stopped trying to be human, letting his instincts take over rather then deal with his emotions, Devon would have to somehow bring him out of that enough to get him trying to be human again.

Well Devon's a trained (nearly graduated) psychologist and while a naturalist he's not trained with animals. I think we have a good opportunity for possibility here though. Are you hoping for me (or whoever) to find a way to reach Wolf naturally/organically or prefer to scope out a definitive plan and write towards it? I'm guessing the former.
Even if it's a brief interaction, it might get Devon to inquire for other help and make it a larger affair.
So far I've been letting the domino's fall as they may, if you want to make something more of it, I'm good for that too, if he does manage to get Tyson to come out of it, he may need a place to stay or need some professional help to deal with his issues.
