The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Oh goody. Now I'll have more than just the X-Men to crush beneath my boot.
lol... quite likely. We're thinking of keeping the group very low key though, so it's likely that you would never even know that PACEM exists ICly, at least at first.

Well, Gwen would probably recruit my character (Colyn), who currently has no idea with all the faction things. Given the opportunity, he want his life back, and everything that had been took away from him.
Oh, by the way, Gwen is the first person that Colyn had 'connection' with, and he would probably trust her more than anyone else. [Perfect pawn?]
I like the idea and Seth may enter it, heck he may even help fund it because of his father's wealthy Oil Industry Empire...but he'd join it not for the noble reasons but rather the idea of control over mutants excites him. Would it be possible for Seth to help fund it as well since he is a well known and respected Dr. that has lead the way for religious tolerance?

Certainly... the group would welcome Seth would open arms... and any money that may come along with that!
lol I agree, a simple thing, but Alliance does sound better than Army. (Sorry, but... 'Dumbledore's Army' anyone? tehe just a thought)
Yea, count me in, I'm currently a wandering mission-less mutant who can help in collecting genetic samples and rendering poor unfortunate souls as vegetables if need be. This sounds interesting, wonder what missions you have in mind, Calley?

Excellent! I'll notify you via PM when I get a chance to do a meet up post to discuss your joining the group. *thumbs up*
Just a question, who should you get to in order to find out that the government has other plans with the group... My new character will try to find out why this new alliance has been made.
