The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

He was not sure how to read Agent Tiger's voice. Was she excited and wanted to see more? Jaded and only wanted to see what she could pick apart? Or maybe just professional, who needed more details than excited overview by nine year old who could change the screens on her as fast as thought?
Probably it was mostly this last thing. Panu obligingly switched back to the blue print of the first real city—the one they would have after all was set up and immigration had started, but before things grew too big. After miniscule delay, a list of buildings popped up on the side of the screen. He thought about making each a link that would zoom to the building, but realized that was stupid when he was sitting right here. He could change screen just as fast as code. Through all of this, he kept his own hands in lap and one foot off the edge of bed twitch-twitch-twitching like excited puppy tail. He tried to stop it but any time he forgot to pay attention it started again.
“Just touch building name or say if you want more information. I will bring it up.” To this end, Panu briefly flopped back on the bed. Just long enough to dig another tablet out from where it was half-buried under a pillow. This he held in his own hands, ready to act as Second Monitor.

Abby was kind of getting used to the fast moving screen of the tablet. She sat down as Panu went after something under his pillow. She read through the list of buildings. There were a lot of business sounding names. "What will the housing be like? Will it be like apartments or boarding houses? Or will there be houses and such?" Abby thought it was a good question. People could handle being shoved together for short periods of time, but if this was to be a nation? Not so good. And if Panu was living in a business-y building, what did that mean for the rest?
"What about recreational activities?" she asked. Abby herself loved going outside. This new nation would be in Antarctica which wouldn't really allow outside time. How would that work? Looking at the same color all the time would make people cranky. At the very least. "There will need to be a lot of prep work," the blonde girl eventually stated.
>> "What will the housing be like? Will it be like apartments or boarding houses? Or will there be houses and such?"
“First settlers are live in these,” Panu said, obligingly pulling up cabin-esk schematics on the tablet he held. “Once basics of infrastructure are built, then we are start upgrade to these. Is more efficient at hold heat and build non-urban-sprawl efficient city than houses.” On the tablet she held, condo-style apartment buildings were brought up.
“I do not know much about recreation plans. At first is too much work for everyone, not much time for waste time. There is library and maker space and internet-of-course. I know there are dog sleds and hiking and boat-things and much exploring, but those are work. Is recreation a problem?”
Panu asked this with exactly the uncertainty it deserved. For recreation, he had internet. If he was doing other recreation things, probably he was being Waste of Air and should get back to work. But Abigail said this like it was normal expected thing.
...What was normal expected recreation? And he would not have to do it, right?

Taking a look at the housing options, Abby wondered about those like her. If she went to Utopia, she would probably be going alone. Would she get a place by herself? Probably not at the beginning, but maybe. "What about the different family sizes? I know I'd probably have like, a one-bedroom apartment. But what about larger families?" She didn't know of any true mutant families, but she could hope. And if this was to be a nation, they would grow. "Is there going to be a system for requesting larger living spaces?"

The little blonde frowned. Was recreation a problem? Probably not at first, when everyone was focused on working to make Utopia run smoothly. But after?
"There's a reason most work places have weekends off. People need to rest and re-energize themselves. I think one of the easiest way is for people to have fun. Recreation areas and times set aside for recreation would give people a chance to breathe instead of just go-go-go. Like..." What kind of activities did people do? Abby read and watched movies and cooked and... Okay so she had plenty of ideas. "I bake when I get frustrated. And when I need a quiet hour or two, I read a fiction book. Others like to play, like at the playground we met at? I'm sure adults have other things they do too."
