The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Hi all,

Devon/Tempest turns 21 on 7/23, which is also the last day of the plot phase we're in.

I was considering a thread of him going out for his birthday and/or a series of threads of him interacting with certain people on his birthday. I'd like it to either be a REALLY good or REALLY bad day, depending who wants to be involved and why. I guess we could have threads that are either/or so it can be a rough day for him emotionally.

You might already know Tempest or you might not. Devon isn't the type to throw himself a party so I definitely need to get other characters involved to encourage events. Some ideas could include:

Devon realizing some friends already know one another (perhaps through other friends)
run in at school
fight or "day/low key" party at Sanctuary for him (I'm sort of assuming Lisa would not allow it not to be known
Devon shopping for some new clothes/at mall buying himself a gift with money send by his grandparents
going to a bar/club (he's turning 21 after all)
META bot fight! (hey you're out on the town on your birthday? well you're under arrest for being a mutant)
