The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Got a plot in mind?
MRO plots are player-created the Mods facilitate and organize the big ones, but we get the ideas from you. Do you have a plot in mind, and want to know whether it needs Mod approval? Check out our plot guidelines.
Shrapnel, about noticing guards being replaced - Fever's keeping a close eye on the guards in the camp. It's a great idea to notice new faces; adds continuity. I'm up for that. Just to let the rest of you know that Fever's well up for getting pally with the guards. That suits his purposes, and he'll want to be in on this, so it kills two birds with one stone. Just... nobody take it personally with the ways he plans to ingratiate himself into their good graces. A few of you are going to be used as patsies. Lol but then he'll have a solid link with the enemy and will pass info on, if only because it wouldn't cost him anything to do so.
PS: If anyone in particular wants to be on the recieving end of one of my plans, let me know. I have a few ideas. I guess it's a longshot, but you never know... otherwise I'm just gonna' go ahead and double-cross a few of ya'. However, I say again - if he does something you don't like, just let me know and I'll edit/erase.
Seeing as the pepper idea was sounding cool I’ll elaborate on a few things.
I like the night meeting as well and also agree that it should be quick. Mostly because it doesn’t feel like a big point of the plot even if it leads up to a big point and explains a few things. As said before, it should probably cover the exit area/s and the how. Don’t know if someone else wants to brain storm more of that.
As far as hording things for the camp escape, you can trust Sara to play the thief card a few more times. If someone wants something specific stolen for them pm me or something. Other then that, I’ll probably write Sara grabbing random things while she works. (*Finds it oddly funny that there are two thief types working the job that gives the most access to random areas.*)
The code ideas sound good. Again I don’t think we need to rp the entire teaching of the coads. Probably could jut have a few set standards, then let people come up with things as they write.
As for James. *Big evil grin.* I have absolutely no problem with James being kidnapped. I only request that no one kill him off. As a character who is best described as a donkey’s behind, I have grown quite attached to him and intend on letting him wonder in and out of future threads. (*Tries to imagine what James might be doing in the Future plot. 10 years from now*) Oddly enough, I find some of the things happening to him in the posts, like Rupert docking his pay and being kidnapped, being things that would lead to his survival. Rupert believes he has something to do with Rupert’s ipod missing so Rupert docked his pay. A dock in pay would mean he no longer had an apartment in the city to go home to so no way of Shrapnel getting to him. If he were collared and kidnapped, that would keep him from being in the camps while Fever does his thing.

I know there was some talk of using Naveed's pwoers on the outside to pursuade some higherups... but as for Raine as soon as she's put back in a collar she wouldn't be much help to anyone- just a tag along at the bottom of the communication tree!
I like a lot of the ideas you guys have come up with. We'll need to start making decisions now and keep certain things in mind.
I like the small group ideas. Those mutants who have special 'talents' excluding their mutations because of the collars, should raise their hands so we can start slotting you. Example: My character could be used as a liason between higher-ups because of her status outside the camp. Things of that sort.
I think the idea of a couple people acting as a communication link between all the campers is good as well.
This distraction will need to be 'low budget' in the sense that we can only use what's available to us as you guys were discussing.
Let's focus on these details now so we can decide what we will RP and what we won't. First, we'll need to decide for sure who will be doing what.
Sara can fit in almost anywhere. She's a thief (Like Neena and Fever) She will work as someone to stand up and protect the others if she needs to, though until that cuff of hers if removed she will be shocked each time she is hit and her healing kicks in. Also Sara has natural tools to picking locks. Not something I've mentioned here much because most things seem to be, you scan a card, or something to get into a locked area, but Sara's claws, in the past, have proven their weight in gold when it comes to her getting into places or opening things up.
Just some odd ideas if someone wants to play with them pm me. Other then that, Sara can fill in where ever she is needed as well.

Naveed can do a lot on the outside with his power of pursuasion. He's meeting speed right now but previously Hunter eluded to helping Naveed overthrow the higherups though Hunter has plans of his own... Either way I don't think I'll have raina do much but I'd love to put Naveed's powers to some good use!

Colyn is more sympathetic to the mutants' cause now, and a certain cat-girl could easily persuade him to help. Although he's not actually a mutant that could be of much help (offensive wise), he could easily get information from one person to another, as scouts or simply slip a pill or two into someone's drinks. ^_^
By the way, he could remove the sedative's effects with his healing touch, although he doesn't know he could do that or the existence of the sedatives.
