Wait, what?

Juliette's mind went blank as she listened to the police instructions. Did they really think she was the perpetrator? She supposed it made sense. She was next to an adorable little blonde girl. It made far more sense that a grown woman would rob a bank and take a little girl hostage than the other way around.

But still.

How did she end up involved like this?

>>"Your move. The least I could do after taking you hostage is help you get away, if you'd like."

Juliette turned her head to face the girl. Was she serious? First she robbed a bank, killed a bunch of people, then took her hostage, and now she was offering to help her? Was it a trick?

Juliette pursed her lips in thought. It wasn't like she had all that many options. If she tried to run, she wouldn't get very far. If she tried to fight, she probably wouldn't win. Either way, she was going to end up in jail or jobless. Maybe even both. If she thought about it, there was no way for her to win. 

"Fine," she said again. "I need your help, but what are you going to do?" She glanced at the police, hoping she wouldn't be putting any more people in danger. 

PD Linely-also known as Spasm,was late on the scene. A bank robbery, and and a nasty one at that, multiple causalities and apparently a little girl had been taken hostage as well. This was going to be bad. He was in his suit and overcoat this time, while a uniform would have been typical in a riot or a call like this, he'd got the call whilst off duty.
Arriving at the bank, he could see the situation-police were in a standoff with-a Hispanic lady and a 10 year old with pure white...oh no.
Being European, he recognised her from ...interpol?  This wascould get very nasty , very quickly. Fumbling slightly with his radio, and nearly dropping it , he half shouted his panicked message"This is PD Linely excersise caution with both individuals" He didn't know exactly what that girl was wanted for...but she was involved in Scandinavia somehow
"What-even the 10 year old?" came the confused reply.
"Yes, I think she's on interpol somhow"
"You're being ridiculous Spasm"
"At least let me get there and talk to them"
Getting to the police lines, Spasm was half out of breath from the run. "STAND DOWN". He grabbed the megaphone from the officer currently wielding it and started to speak "I can't remember your name little girl, but I know you're involved with Scandanavia. I think it's best if you come with us".
