The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Um, back on the power disrupting idea, would you consider having a 'double shot'? I don't know much about Xmen, but wasn't there something about a 'cure', that negated the Xgene? So, say you have the restraints, but also a secondary disrupter. Not a permanent cure, but maybe something that would wear off in one or two days, or a week, so a daily dose would be needed to keep it up. Like a disposable nanobot or something, given through food or water. A shot would be too obvious. That way even if some mutants break out of the restraints, there is still the weakening factor to hold them back for a while. Of course, only CoH would know that, not even 'tamed' mutants.

Kind o like of sedative right? Or something like that. Or we could make th ebracelts all purpose and make them able to negate powers once in the camps.

Well, I wasn't thinking sedative exactly. Just more like something to scramble their powers to, essentially, make a mutant become a normal human. The same thing as you were talking about in the main plot, but just sort of an extra precaution. The mutants would think its the physical restraints doing this to them, but they would only be half right. Did that make sense? Or did I just complicate things again?

since the 'cure' was destroyed CoH created a synthetic version...weaker but does the trick. they lace the food&water with it, esentually giving the mutants a constant dose of it. basicly making them normal humans. though if they were to not have it in their system...the effects would wear off after like a week or so?

I see that, they lace it with food and water. Or, they could give them injections of it every week to make them be slightly sedated for any auctions or any punishments they may have in store for them

The only reason I didn't suggest shots is because it would be kind of obvious. On the other hand food, and water especially, is something most mutants can't do without, so even if they did figure things out, it would be a catch 22. Not much to do about it unless you find an untainted supply.

yay for toxins, which is what it would be whether it would be a shot or tainted food. kaz is basicly immune XD so it wouldn't matter if he was caught, he'd be fine

*sighs* thats why he wont be caught. He can be almost caught like I mentioned before, but it would be a bit unfair if he was caught
I think the shot would rpove to make it intresting if its late on. If its just the food at first then the shot late on when they think the food isnt working, it will arrouse the fighting spirits again. I want some spirits broken in this plot.
But I think the power cure or sedative should be very watered down so that it will have other effects like sleepiness, queasy stomachs, stuff like that. Not only that but it will bassicaly make them helpless like humans as Iris stated above.
I think and Auction for some of the mutants is a good idea.
Well, they could go without food for a while. What if they turned it into a gas and put it in the air. You HAVE to breathe. And the guards could have gasmasks or an antidote.

Calley
Oh Hells yeah. Count Rupert and Calley in on this one.
I picture Calley shifting to something and laying low (Scary Boss Man permitting), probably helping the Kabal from the outside (because Scary Boss Man would probably force him to). *waves hand in the air* For the price of a pillow, Scary Boss Man, I’ll get in and get out with those candy-store blood samples of yours!
Rupert... is going to be opening a bottle of champagne and celebrating. And then he’ll be helpin’ to enforce this wonderful new law. Need an unsympathetic human guard, Emmy? Ooo… And following off of our post in your Secret Spot (you mention the Mansion), and the whole KP incident—those could be reasons for the police to start searching out and capturing mutants from the Sanctuary and the Mansion.
And Zephyr—lol. I’m strikingly glad your chara doesn’t know Calley’s ability.

Calley. You know Rupert will get his ass beat by Kaz right. Kaz will single handedly decimate the police force.....that's not a threat. It's a promise.

Hmm... if a Kaz attacks, do you punch it in the jaw? *...doesn't actually think that's a good idea, no*
Yeah, I was wondering how we'd get the muties rounded up in the first place. The NYPD is not equipped to handle this sort of thing. No humans are... unless Emmy is going to provide the mutant haters of the world with new toys? *hopeful look*

Umm...*blinks* Well the braclets will have a master control and diffrent people will get one. I suppose Rupert could and point the control at the braclet and torture the mutie.
