The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Hi, I'm new here, but my character comes plot loaded. It's fairly flexible though and can be paused indefnatly if needs be. The reason the Hunter has come to New York is that there is a group of scientists researching into a method of during AIDs by completely replacing the patient's blood. Having delved into his own biology Hunter believes that by replacing a human's (or possibly even a mutant's) blood with his own would give them a weaker form of his powers. Under the guise of donating to the scientists he intents to assess how viable the project is. If the procedure is possible he will look into the compatability of his blood with humans. From here the details get a little fuzzy, but the general gist is that his blood is aggressive, and will attack normal human cells, however some people will have the right genetic make up so that the his blood will not attack them, but accept them. Hunter would then search for people who are compatible under the gise of giving blood (which he'd keep some for himself to drink ). Once he found compatible people e'd look to gain their trust and offer them this new life, as a memeber of the vampier race as he calls it. Now, there are varius oppertunities for Hunter to get tangled up with all sorts of people during this, so I'm throwing it out there to see what you guys think and where you can see your characters getting involved.
I'm think I'll develop it to a point where I can start it, then pause unitl the Haywire plot runs its course. For the compatability, I leave that up to the player to decide whether or no their character would be genetically compatable. The first person that I'll turn though is my assistant, Sabrina Preda, who he's pormised will get to be the first. This will then give an NPC badguy for all you goodguys out there to have a crack at.
hm...vampires are cool, and I'm sure skoliro, since he already feeds on blood, would be willing to help...but, if you don't mind my asking, when you say vampires what are you basing them on??
If your refering to people being turned into vampiers, what they'll get is a reduced version of Hunter's powers. Not as strong, not as fast, sense not as sharp, but still well above any normal humans. His immortaility, craving for blood and alergy to wood (though not as sevear, heal at a normal, as opposed to reduced rate) owuld also be passed along.
oh ok, thanks...I just wondereed because there's a lot of different beliefs. For example, in the books I read, vampires don't have an issue with would.
I know, I've read all sorts of tales with Vampiers having differing powers and weaknesses, but I decided to go fairly simple with Hunter, no flying, no transforming into animals ext., but with the added twist of power absorbtion.
Out of curiosity, why doesn your character drink blood? I looked through your bio, but couldn't see a reason why.
well, it's kind of confusing...you see he has two stomachs, one of a fruit bat, and the other of a vampire bat...usually he feeds on humans and mutants just because they're the things that are available and taste the best

Calley
Ooo, I'm all up for this. Count my character in to the "vehemently opposed to getting eaten or transformed, but not opposed to working with you" category. Calley's the type that will ally with whoever he likes best at any given moment. Depending on how our charas meeting plays out, he might or might not end up on your side. I'm going to try to get him positioned as a spy for the Order (just as soon as he's done spying ON the Order...), so perchance the Order could catch a whiff of what you're doing and I could infiltrate.
I look forward to working with you, Mister Dark and Bitey.
The Order seem busy enough with the Haywire plot at the moment, but once that's wrapped up Hunter willstart his plan. What sort of area is the sanctuary in? Just wondering if it might make suitable hunting grounds, so you might see glimps of Hunter about.

Here is an updated interpretation of the plot:
Possible Plot: The Vampire Plot It seems that poor Dr. Hu's expertise has come in handy once again. He has the knowledge necessary to fuse Hunter's DNA with the HIV virus, which means that vampirism is now contagious to humans and mutants and can be spread through bodily fluids like HIV. A vampire bite that gets a bit of vampire blood in it is the recipe for creating an army of newborn vampires. After being bitten, it takes a few days for the vampire virus to kick in, because the blood veins have to reorganize themselves to absorb oxygen from the stomach rather than the lungs.
Dr. Shaw, one of the former leaders of the Church of Humanity during the Mutant Registration Act, may have a cure for this problem. It seems he has his own mutant DNA sample collection. Apparently vampire blood doesn't get along well with unicorn blood... it makes a great vampire virus vaccine! Vampires recover 99.9% (except for slight breathing problems later on: all that rearranging of breathing systems might leave a slight asthma side effect.)
Two possible names for the newly created virus (because I like latin roots): Hemopotasia Infectious Virus (Blood drinker infectious virus) Hemopneumasia Infectious Virus (Blood breather infectious virus)
