Character
Personality: Tyson was an outgoing person before his transformation, enjoying video games, sports and generally having fun. His transformation has been a major blow psychologically which Tyson has yet to come to terms with. Currently he believes that this condition is temporary, that someone is going to change him back and he can go back to his normal life despite what has been told him. He feels disconnected from the world, which is both meaningless and overwhelming at the moment, both due to his mental state and his new instincts and senses. As a result he tries to avoid crowds and people, trying to find quiet places where there is little to overstimulate his senses. He wants to be normal again, and views himself as something that shouldn't be, and is horrified at what he was forced to do while under his fathers control. More distressing to him is his tendency to fall into more canine habits without meaning to, like having to explain why you suddenly had to jump out the window to chase the cat you saw… Hobbies/ Interests: (formerly) video games, bike riding, baseball, paint balling. Had an interest in ethics and philosophy. Job or part time job and description: (If applicable. Jobs can be established later through in character RPing.) Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Currently he fears what he is, his future is uncertain and he hasn’t adjusted to the new status quo of his life. Understandable, he now has great distrust of scientists, and a fear of needles. Special talents: A somewhat talented cook.
Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Tyson would consider himself good, he believes in trying to do right thing whenever possible, however, currently he is distressed about his condition, which has shaken both his world view and confidence in himself. As a result it is hard for him to determine where he stands, as he doesn’t even know what he is, let alone what he should do. This makes him somewhat unstable and unpredictable, easily influenced with the right motivations and words.
Mutations
Mutation description: Tyson appears to be a wolf/human hybrid. These modifications give him enhanced strength, speed and agility and stamina, enhanced regeneration, enhanced senses, fur and claws. He is able to lift 1 ton, and is able to run at 85 mph at a full gait. His body produces minimal amounts of fatigue toxins, allowing him to exert himself over several hours without tiring. His body regenerates at an accelerated rate, allowing him to heal minor injuries in minutes, and major injuries within hours, and survive potentially fatal injuries if not outright killed in the process. His senses are sensitive enough to track by, and pick up things outside of the human spectrum, he can see in the dark, hear ultrahigh frequencies, and detect minute differences in smells. His claws can easily rend flesh, and with his strength can tear into stone and metal. Strengths: Tyson has a good balance of strength, speed and agility, backed up with stamina and durability with his healing. His senses make him vary aware of things about him, wither he likes it or not, and support fast reactions. Weaknesses and Limitations: Tyson is very much at the mercy of his instincts, which make him react to stimulus in a way he would not normally, feeling overly territorial, having wild urges that make it hard for him in normal settings. His senses are often a distraction to his since they are so sharp, leaving him overstimulated much of the time, and easily debilitated by attacks designed to overload his hearing or sense of smell. He also suffers from a few side effects of the experiments done on him, aside from the canine instincts he inherited. The rewiring of his neural network and changes in his body structure has caused some impairment in his fine motor coordination, disabling his ability to properly coordinate fine manipulation of his hands and fingers, a skill he will have to relearn. The shape of his mouth also imposes difficulty speaking, causing some trouble forming certain words and sounds.
Physical Abilities
General Physical Capabilities: Tysons physical abilities have been augmented(see powers), making him very capable physically. His instincts tend to kick in when under duress, making him react very quickly. Fighting Style: While Tyson has no actual formal training, however, under his fathers control he has been ordered to attack and as such developed a rudimentary fighting style, which amounts to little more then pouncing on an opponent and mauling them. Fighting Style Pros/Cons: Tyson himself is reluctant to fight, and will avoid doing so, if nothing else then because he is ashamed of what he is and what he has done. His fighting style itself would be ineffective giving his current temperament, and if push enough to attempt it, does not have much experience to back him fighting under his own will. However against an unskilled opponent he could potentially cause a lot of damage.
History Of Your Character Tyson is the biological son of Dr Karl Malus, a scientist who specialized in bio-genetics, and who had an extensive history of working with the wrong side of the law giving superhuman powers to several criminals via construction of temporary power granting drugs and activation of latent x-genes. Tyson was not aware of this, his mother having had a relationship with Karl before his involvement in illegal experimentation, and having become pregnant with Tyson shortly before breaking it off with him. Tyson grew up without a father in his life, otherwise he lived a pretty normal life well into his teenage years.
Eventually he began asking questions about his father, and his mother knew little of him, leaving Tyson unsatisfied and craving answers and questioning who he was. After graduating high school, he got a job and saved up his money while searching for information to his fathers location. He was able to use the few details his mother could tell him to create a list of potential ‘Karl Malus’ names, and began running down the list visiting the candidates around the country
After nearly a year, Tyson eventually found his father. Tyson was excited about this, and began trying to bond with him, thinking he would learn more about himself. Karl on the other hand, merely saw an opportunity. Playing on his son's enthusiasm, he lured him in to become his new test subject. Tyson was subjected to a series of genetic experiments, his father discovering that Tyson possessed a latent x-gene, activating it as part of his experiments. Tyson had no choice in the matter, kept under Malus' control by a control collar. Tyson had no information about the details of the experiments or what his father had done. From his perspective, he was transformed into a monster, stripped of his reasoning, and held prisoner in his own body, forced to watch as he served as his fathers personal guard dog in a very literal sense.
Eventually Malus was found out and arrested, and Tyson was freed from his control collar, however, the trauma and experimentation done on him could not be simply undone. Tyson had a long road of rehabilitation ahead of him simply to regain some semblance of a normal life, and with no one to help him with his condition, he was turned over to the Xavier institute for help coping and controlling his new abilities.

The noise was deafening. Sure, to the average person it was just the sound of a truck, the wind, and other drivers on the road, but to Tyson, it may as well have been a shuttle launching into outer space right next to his head. His hands were firmly clamped over his ears as he tried to block it all out; the roar of the engine as the fuel ignited into explosions, the air breaking against the outside of the truck, the suspensions squealing as they stretch and compressed, the rumbling of the tires as they tore into the road, not to mention the other cars the rushed past with their own cacophony of noise.
“You okay, kid?” said the man across sitting across from him. The concern in his voice seemed genuine. Or maybe it was just fear, Tyson couldn’t tell at this point, but he had a feeling that sitting in the same enclosed space as something that looked like it was ready to eat you would make anyone sound concerned. “Too many Noissssess” said Tyson, slurring the last word as he tried to form his mouth around them. Even then it sounded like it was mixed with a growl. “We should be there soon” said the man, “Just hold on till then.” That was easy for him to say, he didn’t have the entire roadway blaring in his ears. Then there was the smells, the inside of the truck was lined with them, the man smelt of gunpowder, sweat, and some cheap cologne so thick it went strait from his nose to his tongue, almost enough to make him gag. The truck had the smell of dozens of people who had sat in it before, each with a different ‘flavor’ of smell that did little but give him a headache. Exhaust and gasoline mixed in with the scent of blood, sweat and whatever else that sickly sour smell was to make him seriously consider jumping out the back.
Instead, he tried to put his mind on other things. They were taking him to some place called the Xavier Institute, where they said they could help him. Tyson took that to mean they would be able to change him back. Despite what he had been told, he believed it, convincing himself that he would soon be going back to work, going home and visiting his Mom, going to college… he told himself he would never leave his hometown again, he just wanted to go home and forget everything that had happened to him. “T-hey will-l healp” he said aloud, not knowing wither he was telling the man with conviction or just trying to reassure himself. The man looked away, perhaps it was a look of pity on his face, but Tyson put it out of his mind, firmly believing that in a few days he would be free of the claws and the fur and back to a normal life. It just had too.
