The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

OK, this is what I was thinking, what if a group of scientists came up with an injection of small microbes. What they do is grab mutants off on walks and inject these mircrobes in their nerve system. The microbes then work their way up the nerves and to the brain. Once at the brain, they begin their work and find the section of knowledge. Then, by scientific ways, the microbes create a block so that the mutant forgets that they have their power and thus another way of getting rid of mutants.
However, this injection did not work the way that the scientists wanted it to be, the mutants still know about their power, but the microbes shut off their control over it. So here, I will use Fade as an example. Fade can turn invisible, right? So this is what would happen if she was injected: She would blink in and out of visibility, different parts of her body would go invisible while the rest stayed visible (ex: head goes invisible), and sometimes, her skin will go invisible, revealing muscle tissues, bloodstreams, or even organs.
There would need to be some injected and there needs to be a team to get to the primary source of microbe production and destroy it, then get the antidote for all those injected.
itsa interesting idea, tha's for sure. but more kidnappings? how 'bout a bunch of guys in white coats with blow guns? but in a slightly more serious tone, this could really work.... maybe in just a little bit (once peoples have had a small break from scientists).

I have an idea about that raph, it doesn't nessisarily need to be kidnaping...perhaps it could be like in X3, a 'cure' type thing...And it is volintary...at least at first?
I don't know, just came to the brain...feel free to dissregard.
that's quite plausible actually... but it sounds more like a finished product... what Fade's talking seems more something still in the testing stages... correct me if I'm wrong

Because of the side effects. Perhaps it doesn't kick in real soon, but takes a while. while at first suppressing and nullifying the mutants abilities, but then they loose control of them. And they have to go in and take care of it?
Yeah, I know it's kina along the lines of X3, but it has to do with blocking off the power not curing someone from it and it goes wrong. The thing in X3 was that it was about a cure being used as a weapon, not the cure backfiring on the scientists, you know?

The next plot is going something like X3 in the sense that whenever a mutant goes near this specific mutant, their powers go haywire instead of repressing like the movie.

I'm not sure about the plot because I hear X3.... X3.... X3.... running through my brain everytime I think of it. I realize it's not exactly the same... but it's extremely similiar, and in either case (this plot or X3) the mutants are the ones being affected, and why would the scientists care frankly?
My thoughts are that we need a totally original plot... which would make this our own, instead of just building off the ideas of the movie. That's just me though... if you end up going with this plot, I'm in. I would just rather something new than a bunch of scientists chasing down mutants and injecting them. Or a wonderboy who makes every other mutant cringe because he affects their abilities.
Just my .02 though. I'll join in any plot that we all do, I'm perfectly fine with whatever the group decides.
Well Glare, if you're willing to come up with something completely original, I'd be in on it. I have to agree, too many of the plots are too similar to the movies. It would be really cool to have something 'completely' original for once, then it'd make us all special because we'd be involved in something that no one else has.
