MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Here's an idea I had which could add to characters and history:
My character (Glare) is on the run for his life. He killed an enemy of his past (for revenge) and now he's running. He will eventually run to the School, where he hopes to find cover.
Meanwhile, an evil bounty hunter (also a mutant) has been employed to kill Glare. By any means necessary. He searches and finally discovers where Glare is hiding, and heads for the school to finish the job and collect his bounty.
Back at the school, Glare falls in love with a dashing young mutant. The two are scheduled to be wed at the school, but the day of their wedding the bounty hunter shows up. He and Glare skirmish for a bit, and then Glare runs off, not wanting to fight then and there. He is chased around the world by the bounty hunter. Glare's fiance comes after him, and then is mysteriously captured by the bounty hunter, who then uses the girl as bait to draw Glare in.
In the end, Glare, his girl, and the bounty hunter would face off in an epic battle, (which I'm guessing would end in a stalemate). Both Glare and the girl would get away maybe injured, while the bounty hunter would get off without having killed Glare. Perhaps Glare and the hunter made a deal where Glare must go into hiding and the rest of the world would consider him dead for a time (so the bounty hunter would cheat his employer into thinking he did his job). Sort of like a Jack Bauer ending.
We would need:
Glare (that's me!!) Severity will play the fiance/wife to be mutant. Iratio Silentium will play the bounty hunter
So basically, if you want to play you can join as either the girl or the bounty hunter, or any other character you think might figure in.

Ok... maybe that will work. I also hear of a new character who may be joining soon, but he can't yet because of the house fire crisis, that might actually be a bounty hunter. But either way... it should work out.
I PMed Severity to ask her about the female part... maybe if not, then maybe Fade?

Allright, here's how it looks now. I'm in NYC right now, and I'm going to actually end up heading to the school soon. My character's friend is going to get injured and actually die, and then Glare will recieve a revelation (from his friend's powers) that he needs to go to the school.
He will arrive at the gate, and try to meet some of the higher ranking X-men. He doesn't really want to stay there and train, he's pretty well in control of his powers, but he wants to have a safe place to stay for a while. Sort of like how Wolverine stumbled onto the School, it would be similiar with Glare.
In any case, he will meet Severity while he is there, and the two will become good friends quickly, they fall in love, etc. etc., then the rest will be determined from there.
WE STILL NEED A BOUNTY HUNTER (although my brother is joining this RP like today, and he will likely fill this role)
