“So you got beat up by Big Bird?” Jiri felt that his role as host required—nay, demanded--that he focus in on the most important part of what the X-Lead had just said. “Are we talking over-easy beat up or did he straight up scramble your eggs?” This was a very serious question, and he asked it with the straight face it deserved.
All right, after the baseball question, time to find something that looked at least mildly intelligent. He skimmed until he found the first one A) not using text speak, and B) longer than five words.
“When police discharge their weapons, particularly when there's an injury, there's a strict review process to ensure that any damage caused was justified. What process is in place to track property damage and casualties inflicted by X-Men?”

”Close, he did some work on central park and if it wasn’t for my powers…” Sam smirked, ”I could have very well been beaten up by big bird. Think giant mascot that screamed like those dinosaurs in Jurassic Park.” he made sure not to call them raptors because they weren’t.
”I gave him the ol’sunny side up treatment. He did manage to scramble me for a bit though.” Sam laughed a little remembering the fight. ”It helped that Gawain was there to distract him though. Had to find my groove.” Sam took a sip of his coffee again wishing he had more.
The next question was a tougher one to answer it was more his opinion and his experience working with law enforcement than anything else seeing as there wasn’t any official rules yet. ”Good question,” Sam started truthfully. ”While I’m not the best person to recite the practices of the NYPD I can attest whenever I use my powers I do have quite a bit of paperwork. Even when we started to help them on a volunteer level.”
Sam leaned back in his chair and tried to explain a bit more, ”Usually someone comes out and accesses the damage and tries to keep track of it. I know there had been some programs started to repair sidewalks buildings and fire hydrants. I’m pretty well known for damaging fire hydrants to use the water. Also we train daily to prevent any injuries on innocent bystanders.” Sam thumbed his chin for a second as he thought more about it.
”I know it created some jobs and there are a few construction companies that specialize in mutant related property damage.” Sam said shrugging, then looking to Jiri, ”What do you think, is the city better off without our help?”
