The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

”**** the internet.” Sam answered right away to Gawain. He didn’t care who it was he would have said that to whoever thought the tornado full of sharks was a good idea. Sam closed his eye and opened it one more time before he reached up and waved Gawain down. Sam created a reflective surface of ice in front of him for Gawain to hop into to.
”You might need to point these kids out to me then if they are trouble.” Sam said before he raised his eyebrow. ”What kind of trouble? We talking mirror walker beer snatching trouble or something a little more sinister.” it was true Gawain/Maya was a trouble maker before he started throwing him/her around in the danger room. He/she turned out right so maybe if he did it to the trouble makers he might make another fine upstanding citizen.
”Alex?” Sam raised another eyebrow again his expression turned to more confused look. It took him a second to register the ‘his’. It wasn’t his Alex she was somewhere far away and she wasn’t really his. He really needed to forget about her and all those messed up dreams/nightmares he lived out with her. His eyebrow lowered into a frown as Gawain continued.
Sam didn’t like the idea of anyone being involved with a self defense murder. It just meant he wasn’t doing his job that there were still people dangerous enough to force a kid to do something like that. No kid should have to do something like that. ”You’re really gonna have to introduce me to this Alex kid. He alright?” Sam asked making sure none of the kids in the mansion felt like they were in danger. ”and your right. It is a $*** solution. She could have come up with something better. I would have just ignored the internet. Not like there is never anything nice said about mutants on there.” Sam waited till Gawain appeared before him before continuing.
"Preach" Gawain smirked. He was not exactly an online person.
>>”You might need to point these kids out to me then if they are trouble. What kind of trouble? We talking mirror walker beer snatching trouble or something a little more sinister.”
Gawain snorted at that as he pushed some buttons, deleting the Sharknado scenario from the DR computer, in case someone accidentally fiddled with it. He had it backed up somewhere else.
"Are you kidding? I don't think those kids ever tried to find your stash. I doubt they could."
Nerds.
>>”Alex?... You’re really gonna have to introduce me to this Alex kid. He alright?”
"He's fine. Miss T is working with him. And she's got lawyers on the case. But yeah... tough situation. You might wanna talk to him."
>>”and your right. It is a $*** solution. She could have come up with something better. I would have just ignored the internet. Not like there is never anything nice said about mutants on there.”
"Not like this" Mirror sighed. He could see Sam making a screen of ice for him to walk through, and he stepped into the glass of the DR, teleporting down to the floor "The video changed things. Alex is supposed to be one of the good guys. No kid needs a video of him killing a man go viral..."

Sam agreed he wanted to talk to the kid. Mama T was good at talking but sometimes talking didn’t really help. Hitting things worked better for him. So did drinking but he wasn’t gonna be giving a minor any alcohol. It also made him a little happier his stash wasn’t being raided again.
Sam stretched slightly and got into a fighting stance as Gawain hopped through the to the other side of the looking glass. Sam waved him in and took a deep breath. The ice mancer might be exhausted but he knew Gawain would still get thrown around like a rag doll. After all Sam didn’t teach him everything he knew. ”Why we do what we do.” Sam said nodding his head talking more about what he did in his spare time. Gawain didn’t need to know what he did in his spare time. If he just thought it was drinking Sam was okay with that.
”No kid should ever have to do that. Messes with your head too much, make you question everything. Whether you’re a monster or not. Never to late though. Can still be a good guy. Worked for me for a while.” Sam said not really thinking much of what he said. Wiping whatever vomit was left from his face Sam waved Gawain towards him again. Sam had a fist with Gawain’s name on it.
>>”No kid should ever have to do that. Messes with your head too much, make you question everything. Whether you’re a monster or not. Never to late though. Can still be a good guy. Worked for me for a while.”
"And that is why you should talk to the kid" Gawain agreed "You're a great guy, Sam. He needs to see that. In the meantime, we'll just distract the Internet with random sh*t they can fangirl over, hm?"
It did not miss Gawain's attention that Sam was taking on a fighting stance. He knew what came next. He didn't really want to walk into it, and even considered skipping out through the ice for a moment... then again, Sam actually threw up. That had to be uncomfortable. Especially if it made the final cut.
"Look, I know you like this even less than I do..." he said, cautiously walking up to Sam "... but believe me, it is as good an idea as we have right now, and let's face it, you were pretty spectacular in there..."

Sam smirked when Gawain was paying him a compliment. ”You misunderstand.” Sam took another step towards Gawain still in a fighting stance, ”You can post whatever you want on the internet. That’s fine. Even me with throwing up, the Amazons whatever you want.” Sam took another step, ”But you see, you got my heart rate up made me puke…. See I just really want to hit something now.”
Sam lunged forward and threw a quick jab at Gawain’s face.

"Technically, you made yourself p..."
Gawain's protest was cut short by a punch to the face, and he staggered back, cursing at the pain as stars danced in his vision.
It took him a couple of moments to shake his head clear.
"... ookay, I might have deserved that." he muttered, looking at Sam sheepishly "Should I buy you a drink?"
