The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

I'm looking to move Ghost into a less than forgiving frame of mind. I'm not entirely sure how to do it, but I'd really love to involve other people. Anyone have any thoughts or thread ideas?

Well do you want her more the still good but highly aggressive mindset, or the im going to kill that guy over there for kicking my dog. If still wanting her mostly good, she could always stop one of the more brutal mutants on the site from somone horrible act, but either the lengths she must go to snap her over the edge a bit or an act brutal enough to show Ghost their is a need for more aggression.
Good, but highly aggressive sounds about right. I may be looking for enough of a problem to start changing Ghost's mind on things in general. I don't think she will ever get to the mindset that she needs to kick a puppy. That's just not who Ghost is. Hah.

Ambrose excels in pushing people over the edge, if you'd like to commandeer his abilities. He'd be perfectly capable of doing some absolutely horrific things with no remorse whatsoever, and the severity could be anywhere from freaking Ghost out to making her lose faith in humanity/mutantkind as a whole.

The whole "stupid humanity is stupid starting up the stupid stalker bots program" thing could help break that faith in humanity a bit, as well, while also giving her non-human targets to pound. It's only a little side step from that to pounding the flesh bags, as well~
Jiri probably won't be of any use, but once Panu's up and running, if you want him to make your life miserable in a million little ways and fray her nerves just because he can, that could be arranged. <3
