Hair color and style: Somewhat long, black hair. His bangs are long, but kept in a side swoop as to not cover his eyes and his hair around the ears just barely covers the tips of his ears.

Skin Tone: Tim’s skin tone is somewhat dark; about as dark as Native Americans, which has caused some people to think that he was.

Everyday clothing style: Tim usually wears a t-shirt, jeans and converse, and occasionally a hoodie. He usually wears something green.

Uniform: Tim’s uniform is a black full body suit. It has no sleeves and two thick, light green lines that span from each shoulder and meet on the middle of his chest in a V-formation. There are also light green lines running down the sides of his torso, along with several light green straps on it, including a matching belt. On top of that, he wears a normal, black leather jacket. Depending on weather and season, he sometimes switches his leather jacket with a Victorian jacket. He also wears black boots or, if in a hurry, his converse.

Sleepwear: Tim usually only sleeps in his underwear and a t-shirt that’s two sizes too big and therefore ‘covers enough’.

Personality: Tim is mostly calm and polite when speaking, but can be sassy as well. He also has a habit of speaking fast. He is also very detail-minded. Tim also hates suppression of minorities, be it human or mutant. He also has a fondness for furry animals, especially cats and dogs.

Tim does however tend to be a bit arrogant, especially when dealing with people whom he doesn’t like.

Hobbies/ Interests: Tim’s main hobbies are video games and reading. He also has a lot of interest in foreign cultures and languages.

Mutations



Mutation description: Repulsive Waves.

Strengths: Tim can project invisible, repulsive waves from his entire being. He can use these waves to push objects and people. The maximum range of his waves is 30 feet. Beyond this point, the waves stop having an effect. By using them on something he holds in his hand, he can make it appear as though it is telekinesis. He can also use his energy waves for high jumps by repelling the ground while jumping. When using his powers at the same time as he punches, it can appear as if he punches harder than he actually can.

Weaknesses and Limitations: The effect of Tim’s waves on non-solid matter (Liquids and gasses) ranges from ineffective to useless. The maximum range of his waves is 30 feet, and the maximum weight that he can push is roughly 2000 pounds, although to get to this point, he will have to focus hard.

When the object he pushes gets further away than 30 feet, his waves stop affecting it. He also cannot do the opposite and attract objects, thus meaning that if he pushes someone too far away, he cannot pull them back. He may also have a hard time repelling objects that come flying towards him, depending on their size; the smaller the harder it is for him, due to their smaller surface.

His flight is also very hard for him to control, seeing as he has to focus harder to change altitude, and even doing it to begin with is very difficult for him.

His powers are also always on at a very low level, which means that he unconsciously may push people when in public. Therefore he avoids crowds.

History Of Your Character

Tim grew up with foster parents, in Manchester, New York, whom he had a very strained relationship with. His own parents had been deemed too immature to raise a child, seeing as they were teenagers when Tim was born.

Tim’s biological family was a family of immigrants from Thailand, who had moved to America in pursuit of better fortune. Tim’s parents were both born in New York, albeit from different families that had nothing to do with each other prior to meeting. Tim even got to the point where he barely talked to his biological parents.

Tim’s foster parents were of the upper middleclass and very much against mutants, although Tim had grown to admire them for their powers. Tim discovered his powers when he was 17. When sticking up for a mutant student at his school, Tim’s powers emerged when the bullies tried to beat him up. His repulsive waves emerged with such force that it pushed two of his aggressors into traffic. After this, Tim panicked because of what had happened. He felt guilty for what happened to the bullies, and knowing his foster parents wouldn’t understand, he packed a few belongings and ran away from home, not knowing what to do.

Sample RP:

Tim hurried into his room, slamming the door behind him. Even as he reached for the door knob, the door had started shutting, even before he touched it. As soon as it was closed he sat down on the floor, his back against the door. He breathed heavily, trying to put his mind together.

“Tim, are you alright?” He recognized his foster mother’s voice. “Is something wrong?”

“No, I’m… okay,” he lied. He looked as his hands as his foster mother walked away.

What was he? Well, not normal that was for sure. He started breathing normally and reached for the edge of his desk, which was right next to the door. As he placed his hand on his desk to help himself get up, he noticed how it caused a few items to fall off the desk – and he hadn’t even touched them!

Once he stood up… he felt himself grow… curious. He looked at his right palm once more. He then looked at his computer mouse on his desk. He moved his hand towards it. Still nothing happened. He brought it even closer.

Tim was now mere millimeters from it. There! The mouse started moving away from him! He kept moving his hand, progressively pushing the mouse further away.

Tim stopped. What if he could push it harder? He thought for a moment. If he was a mutant, didn’t that mean that he was in complete control of his powers?

Suddenly, before he knew it, the mouse flew forwards and crashed into the wall that the desk stood against. A crooked smile spread across Tim’s lips. However, his smile soon faded. He knew his foster parents wouldn’t accept it – he knew how much they hated mutants.

He sighed to himself. What could he do? He probably couldn’t do anything about it… Wasn’t that why mutants had been treated the way they had; because they were different and couldn’t do anything about it?

Tim looked towards his school bag on the floor. He sighed again. There was no choice… He walked over to his wardrobe and opened it… He knew he could only bring as little as possible…
