Character
Personality: Osborn is typically a very quiet person, though many mistake him for being shy. It is not that he is shy, but rather that he doesn't often feel the need to call attention to himself unless it is necessary. He feels that he draws enough attention due to his obvious visible mutation. His time in prison established in him a necessary hard edge that he previously lacked. Before his imprisonment he talked quite a bit more and was generally a more open person, but between his twelve year stint in prison and the events of the mutant camps he became a much more introverted person. He views mutants as a completely separate species from 'normal' humans, regardless of how similar this may be. He views this difference as primarily societal rather than the obvious biological differences, simply because a society where some people are inherently and quantifiably more powerful than others and the gun is no great equalizer, things change. Hobbies/ Interests: Osborn has a small hobby in crafting gadgets and mechanical devices with little real use. His brace is actually of his own design, and his apartment is filled with knick-knacks of all kinds. Job or part time job and description: Osborn is a repo man for a car dealership. It is one of the few decent-paying jobs an ex-con like him can get. Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Osborn doesn't much like spiders, but his deepest fear is of water. Though he is no longer in danger of drowning, the close call he had in prison still leaves him terrified. Special talents: Osborn is a half-decent ventriloquist.
Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Neutral. Osborn used to be a much better person but was quickly disillusioned with typical society.
Mutations
Mutation description:
Osborn is, essentially, dead. His heart doesn't beat, he doesn't breath, he doesn't sleep, nor does he eat or drink. This has some obvious advantages in that he doesn't feel pain, and doesn't have to spend money on food or drink, but the disadvantages are severe. Because he is dead, he does not have the sensation of touch, nor of taste. He also is lukewarm at best in body temperature, and his skin is an extremely pale white. The largest disadvantage, however, is the fact that he does not heal. Any injuries he sustains, from small cuts to broken bones, stay with him. The only way for him to heal injuries is through the other facet of his mutation: life absorption. When he touches a living animal, Osborn can draw life from the animal into himself. Doing so causes the touched area to die and begin to rot, spreading further the more energy he draws. But, from this, Osborn can for a time heal as if he was not dead. That is to say he heals at the same rate a normal human would. In order to take life force from an animal Osborn must be in physical contact with the animal. The rate at which Osborn takes the life force of an animal is about a week from the animal's life taken every second, which depending on the animal would give him at most three days of healing (if he was draining a human) or as little as a few seconds (for something like a mouse). This drain manifests as the animal seeming to age visibly, hair and nails growing at an accelerated rate and, if enough drain is applied, visible signs of advanced age appearing. Also, starting at the location Osborn is touching and spreading further the longer he drains them is a necrosis similar to what happens with some spider venoms.
Strengths: Not feeling pain and not needing to sleep or eat are useful, and not caring about the outside temperature is nice. So far as Osborn can tell, he doesn't age, and he hasn't needed a haircut in two decades.
Weaknesses and Limitations: The inability to heal is a major disadvantage, and losing out on the sensation of touch is not something Osborn would recommend to anyone. Also, the time of healing that Osborn receives from taking life force is minimal when compared with what he takes. If Osborn were to drain a human of a year off of their life, he would heal for only slightly more than a month. Lesser life forms give even less healing. Also, because he is essentially dead, Osborn can no longer become stronger through training, nor can he increase his muscle mass in any way. He remains as strong as he was on the day he died and no stronger.
Physical Abilities
General Physical Capabilities: Osborn is very muscled from his time spent in prison, and he has good reflexes as well. His speed is nothing spectacular, though because he can't feel pain he can often take hits that would down others and keep on fighting.
Fighting Style: Nothing more than street brawling. Fighting Style Pros/Cons: Mostly, the 'style' is all cons. The only Pro is that Osborn is always willing to fight dirty if necessary.
History Of Your Character Osborn was born in Miami to a down on his luck defense attorney and his wife. Times were tough for Osborn's family for the majority of his childhood, until his father caught a lucky break when Osborn was 15. Osborn's father had, three years previously, successfully defended a man who was now the owner of several brothels and who had improved his lot in life quite considerably, and this man wanted to repay the man who made it all possible by hiring him as his full-time lawyer. Though the extra money was a big boon for the family, there were downsides. Osborn began to run with the wrong type of people, and by the time he was sixteen he was already addicted to stealing things. The recognition he gained, the thrill of stalking through someone's house when they weren't home...
All too soon, however, it caught up with him. Osborn was caught, and spent a year and a half in juvie. He never finished high school, and when he left the facility he found that all of the jobs before him were far too low-paying for his tastes. So he turned back to a life of crime, though this time he was smarter. Instead of working alone, he pulled two other of his old buddies in and put a crew together. Osborn, with his penchant for mechanical things, was the entry man, who actually did the thieving. Dog was the lookout, making sure nothing went wrong, and Lance was the driver. Together, the three of them managed to stay living the high life for five years. In December of 1994, however, that all changed.
Dog was caught trying while trying to do some solo jobs on the side, and when he was pressured he cracked. He gave both Osborn and Lance up in exchange for a lighter sentence, though luckily he knew better than to implicate them (and therefor himself) in their earlier crimes. Because of his supposed partner's cowardice, Osborn was sentenced to 4 years in prison. Osborn always knew that was an eventuality that he might spend some time in prison, and so he kept his head down and tried to simply do his time in peace. That, however, was not meant to be for long. Halfway through his sentence, Osborn accidentally caught the attention of another inmate, who got it into his head that Osborn was disrespecting him and turning the guards and inmates against him. A few days later, the inmate managed to catch up with Osborn when he was in the washroom, and attacked him without warning. Osborn had his head shoved into a bucket of water and was held down as he drowned. On February 13, 1996, Osborn King died.
After he died, however, something strange happened. The inmate who killed him got his hand caught in Osborn's clothes, and began to age before the eyes of the frantic guards who had tried to pull him off of Osborn. His arms began to decay and putrefy extremely quickly, and Osborn awoke into his new unlife just in time to watch his murderer pass away right there. The two guards who were there managed to convince themselves that Osborn had splashed chemicals on the model inmate in a vicious attack, and the inmate had only been defending himself. It was easier to think that than to remember the truth for them, and so Osborn was charged with First Degree Murder. In this however, Osborn's father finally showed to do his duty.
In a remarkable show of legal skill and charisma, Osborn's father was able to get the charge downgraded all the way to Manslaughter, which allowed a sentence of eight years to be carried out consecutively with his current sentence. In his time in prison after his mutation awoke, Osborn realized that he had healed from the bruises he got from the attack, but not from injuries received later. A bit of experimentation revealed more about how his mutation worked, and Osborn's immunity to pain gave him a reputation that allowed him to live the rest of his sentence in peace.
When he was released, Osborn had a large amount of trouble finding a legitimate job. Though he was offered a position working for the same man as his father, he refused to avoid getting once again entangled in criminal activities. Eventually, Osborn was able to get a job as a mechanic that suited him just fine for several years. In 2007, with the introduction of the Registration Law, Osborn's secretly growing feelings about the differences between mutants and humans bubbled to the surface. He made his way to New York City, where it seemed most of the issues were happened, and waited for an opportunity to do what he could. He scouted out the camps as best he could, attempted and failed to find a resistance he might join, and was generally unsuccessful in being useful. However, when the breakouts began, Osborn rushed to help the escapees. It was while defending a group of fleeing mutants that Osborn's eye was rendered useless, and many of his other wounds were gained. In the end, however, Osborn found himself stranded in New York with very little money and no job. Luckily he was able to find work for a car dealership owner who thought his scary appearance would be helpful to persuade reluctant defaultees to return his property, and there Osborn has remained for quite some time, healing when he can. However, it would be mighty suspicious if he were to keep purchasing live animals and having them mysteriously dying, so Osborn has resigned himself to being injured for a long while until he can find a better solution.

Osborn sighed as he watched his partner eat a sandwich. He kinda missed eating. It would have at the very least given him something to do during his legally mandated lunch break. "Mind keeping it down a bit there Dumbo?" Osborn's partner shrugged but didn't slow down in his eating one bit. They called him Dumbo because of his ridiculously large ears and hobby of flying model planes, but Osborn didn't know his real name even after two years of being partners.
When Dumbo finished, Osborn turned the tow truck back on and started driving. "Alright, looks like the next one is a 2014 Prius, guy defaulted on the loan and Peterson Motor Company now legally owns it. They just leave the hard part up to us, eh?" Dumbo just shrugged. "You know Dumbo, I don't think I've heard you talk more than a few words this whole day, what is the matter with you man, normally I can't get you to shut up?"
Dumbo sighed and said "My daughter would have turned twelve today." Osborn didn't really know what to say to that. Dumbo's daughter had died in a car crash just barely a day after she was born, and it haunted the man.
The two made the rest of the drive in silence.
