After a brief period of life business and a bit of a lack of muse, I've returned and am looking for threads with both Amber and Masque.  Any takers?  

I volunteer Paige! Or Ty can meet Amber again.

I would actually love to have Amber and Paige have a thread. Or maybe Ty and Maskque. I believe it would be a first encounter in either case. What do you think?

Oooh..either of those would be fun. What would Masque think of a lawbreaking, adrenaline-junkie rogue like Ty? Or Amber of an emotionally disturbed spork? lol

Well, Amber is highly emotionally disturbed herself so I'm sure Paige and Amber could be emotionally disturbed together. Amber sees herself as a child of death and essentially incapable of friendship, even though she's profoundly lonely.

Masque needs to get into some trouble, I think. He might find the idea of adrenaline junkie to be a bit overwhelming as he's kind of the play it safe type, but I think he could be convinced; i.e. roped into some trouble.

Heh, I can work with either of those, actually. Ty's made a thing of dragging people into trouble lately, and Paige is mostly down because she doesn't feel like she's tough enough lately. Then her emotions get all high and she turns into a spork.

I'm up for doing both if you are. Do you have any specific direction you'd like to go with Paige? With Amber, she's kind of my character I like to torture as much as absolutely possibly. Perhaps some kind of scenario pertaining to either Amber or Paige getting into a dangerous violent encounter and one or the other saving each other? Or perhaps attempting to save each other and things going wrong in some fashion?

What sort of trouble does Ty like to drag people into? Where is he currently living?

Judging by a current ongoing thread, Paige is likely going to be Order, and she's sorta...well she's the one where whatever happens to her I just let happen lol

Ty usually ends up having women jump into the car he's trying to hotwire lol, but it's usually stealing cars, picking pockets, that sort of thing.

I really don't have any ideas, so I can just roll with whatever.

If Paige is going Order, Amber might be able to help coax in that direction. She's not technically Order but she lives in Sanctuary, her sister Aura is and she knows about the Order's existence and basic philosophy. What if the two of them get into a dangerous situation and Amber has to go offensive in order to have them get out safely? Possibly with some overkill put in? Maybe a hostage situation or something like that? The two of them in the wrong place at the wrong time?

As for Ty,how charismatic is he? If Masque were to catch him hot wiring a car, for example, is he the type that might convince a somewhat dubious (although not especially strong willed) individual to go on a joy ride instead of turning him in?

Ty's cautious, but he's charismatic. And used to plans going to hell at this point. Though, Ty could always follow the footsteps of his mentor and lead people down the not-so-straight-or-narrow...

Sounds like fun. What's a good setup for a hostage taking? That's really the only thing that I'm struggling with in terms of getting that started. If you're able to start something up with Ty, getting Masque involved should be pretty easily done.

Okay, Paige's status as far as Order goes is up in the air, as it's being hinted at and explained in a still-ongoing thread with Seyta. But, if we tread lightly, I could probably have Paige kidnapped.

Paige was rich in LA. Her father got this money via less-than-legal means, and was involved with less-than-savory people. I'm currently working on a solo between the father and daughter, also revealing him to be a powerful mutant of some kind.

So, he has enemies. Enemies that would go so far as to kidnap the daughter of a former millionaire...

That sounds fantastic to me. Maybe we could do it outoors at night. If we put it in a sparsely populated its pretty realistic to have Amber around at the wrong place at the wrong time. She's nabbed as well simply to avoid having witnesses to the crime and we can proceed from there. Amber isn't likely to actively seek to recruit Paige to the Order but if things go the right way and it happens to come up, she'll speak of it openly and positively.
